Saw this at the movies. Told my friend, I wanted to see it again and again. I have watched it a couple since I purchased. It's a great movie. Love that it's based on a true store.

A Film made in Russia based on the events that happened in Stalingrad. Very realistic to how life may have been for those that lived though the battle for the city in world war II

It's a very special movie that has WWII as background and with 3d and I think the result are very good. I was like "live" inside the movie the whole time.

This was unexpectingly a good movie. I didn't know there were two different movies with the same title. Between the two, this is definately the one to see.

I expected Russian film makers to ground this film in the history of this horrific battle. Though I am not an expert on the history of the battle, I know enough to assure you that this film depicts little of the actual battle and certainly does not provide the sort of insight that Russian film makers could bring to the film. The story of the soldiers, German and Russian, and their evolving relationships with young women, trapped in the city, does not salvage the film. And, the relationship between the German officer and a young Russian woman is simply appalling. Don't waste your time or your money on this awful movie.

Those of you who like history, should give this movie a try. I thought the movie was very interesting and special effects were pretty awesome.

This movie has an interesting plot, different from an old version and had watched years ago. The 3D effects are just awesome. I love 3D !!!

Amazing visuals and action. You have to watch this movie about one of the great battles. You will not be disappointed.

I wasn't aware that this is a foreign film. It is dubbed over in English but the film quality is not very good. There are a lot better movies out there of this type, consider another film.

Those of you who like history, should give this movie a try, make sure to watch it in 3D, it's worth it.

The action was ok but the entire movie was dubbed over in English. The original language was in russian so it wasnt even original voices and it didnt match up.

I decided to take a chance on a movie I had never heard of. I really enjoyed it. Glad I picked it up.

Bought this for a friend because he loves war movies, had hardly anything to do with Stalingrad. And the mouths don't match the words. Looked awesome in 3D though.
