    I've been a big star ocean fan since day 1...but tri ace seems to has lost their way this time. Blah story....forgettable characters, generic world. And battles are just a hectic mess, especially missions where a certain character needs to live and you can't tell who is even hitting them

    This game has a much smaller world than the previous Star Ocean game. I like the mechanics in this game better than the previous one, though it is much smaller. The music is good, but there is not much variation in enemies. And the plot is much to be desired. I would only recommend this game to a person who has played other star ocean games.

    Once again, thanks to my Gamer's membership, I was able to secure 20% off of another PS4 game that was on sale! If you do not have the membership, GET IT TODAY!...aside from that, the game is fluid, fun, and addicting. The graphics are the best thus far for any JRPG genre and I love the combat mechanics.

    If you have played previous RPG based games then this is one you will enjoy. It is a bit lengthy but then again all rpgs are like that. There is never a dull moment and the battle system has improved from previous games in the series. Definitely a must have for the holidays.
