Great product. Love the simulations. Lots of fun to show off to friends, and works great as a blue tooth device for your phone or other devices.

This was a great gift for my nerd. He loved it so much and won't stop playing with it. It's really good quality and not a cheapy toy either.

True to the show. The best out there. Very well made and dose not feel cheap or like a toy. The bluetooth functions are great on this device. It makes a great speaker phone. The audio is crystal clear. A must have for any Star Trek fan. I have had mine for almost a year and there have been zero problems. The case and charge stand are top notch. I recommend this.

I am a fan of star trek so the replica works fine, may be the sound volume is low but design and preloaded sound tracks are great.

A great blast from the Star Trek past. The Bluetooth-smartphone tie-in makes it that much more fun.

This is a very nice replica of my favorite prop of all time. Initially I didn't care so much about it being a bluetooth device but it turns out to be very useful when driving. I can pair the communicator to my smartphone which I use as a GPS and just leave it alone. If I get a call I can simply flip open the communicator and have a hands-free device in the car. The three 'chirps' sound the communicator makes when flipping open the grill is spot on and it chirps four times when paired with a device (nice touch!) The flip antenna grill itself is nice but it could be a bit wider like prop it was modeled after. The texture on the communicator shells are meant to simulate the Kydex material used on the original props. In my opinion the grain is too fine and the shells are unfortunately missing the Kydex sheen which is my favorite aesthetic about the original prop. That being said, I think overall it's a very nice piece with functionality that is useful and very well thought out. Great job Wand company!

This is a work of art. Exact detail and many functions make this a fine compliment to the Wand Company's previous product, the Hand Phaser Type II. Both are exceptional items for any classic trek fan. Hopefully the Tricorder will be next! Expensive but you can see where the money went. Well Done!

I've waited 40 years to have a communicator and The Wand Company has delivered. One of the best Christmas presents I've ever gotten. Build is spot on and works beautifully. If you are a fan of the original Star Trek series I highly recommend you get one, you won't be disappointed.

I saw this and had to have it. So glad I purchased it, sound is clear and looks great!

The Communicator is just like the original series one in detail,well built and easy to use. If you are a Star Trek fan you will love it. The only drawback is you have to carry around a Bluetooth phone to be able to use it, but I still give it 5 stars for detail and operation.

This thing is made well and displays great. The only downside is the speaker volume isn't as loud as you would expect but I work in a noisy environment. Around town it's more than adequate. The details are perfect since it was made from scans of the screen used original prop.

My wife and I got this for my father in law for his birthday and he loved it! It is made very well and the case it comes in is very sturdy. He raved about it all weekend and couldn't wait to play with it. Would definitely recommend for a sci-fi or Star Trek fan.

This is an amazing bluetooth accessory... works just like a bluetooth earpiece, but you hold it in your hand. This is better than the prop used in the originals Star Trek show, and it's what I dreamed about as a kid. It brought the geek out in me!

I must admit that I've had a few Star Trek Communicators in the past "toys" but this one is by far the coolest and most natural feeling one that I've ever had. The quality is great, the sound fx are awesome and the bluetooth works great!

The Wand Company that makes this has given great attention to detail. Extremely well made! This is a great star trek communicator. You can connect it to your smartphone via bluetooth and receive calls on it. Beam me up Scotty!

I am really impressed at the quality of the communicator it has great features and is a lot of fun. I love the canned phrases and the BT phone link. I also have the phaser but not as impressed with the remote capability.
