We have to explore different ways to use VR, and this is just one more. My son and I played for hours the first time and learned quite a bit about how to play the game. I am sure we will continue to enjoy ourselves even more in the weeks to come!

This is a great game. Social game. If you have cool people to play with, then it is fun, but after a week--- I got tired of socializing with all the strangers out there, so as long as you have a solid crew to game with, I recommend this game.

If you ever want to feel like you're on the bridge of the Enterprise, then this is the game for you. Pretty cool at first, but then there's not much you can do once you learn everything. Oh well. Not bad for $20.

The game is pretty in-depth, covering many key stations on the bridge, and has several scenarios to 'engage' in. The VR is quite good and makes the game more fun than just playing in standard view.

I can't review this game because 20 mbs is not enough internet speed to get started. It crashes loading the instructions for the captain. The graphics are pretty good, but I cant do much more than look around the bridge.

Star Trek: Bridge Crew is a great VR simulation that has you and a group of people working together to pilot a starship like in the show. It's a ton of fun and didn't cause me any motion sickness. Definitely recommended.

Star Trek touchscreen simulator

Star Trek Bridge Crew promises the excitement of being on the bridge of a Star Trek spaceship. Turns out, performing the duties of a Federation officer is kind of boring. The game has recently been patched so you can play in non-VR mode. There are 4 distinct roles that you can play: helm, tactical, and engineering, and captain.
Helm pilots the ship, although it's not really "piloting" so much as massaging a touchscreen to stay out of sensor range of Klingon ships. Tactical handles firing weapons and scanning. Again, a lot of booping buttons on the touchscreen panel, not particularly satisfying. Engineering moves power around to various systems as needed, e.g. away from engines to shields. Finally, captain orders everyone else around.
I suppose it might be more fun in a group with online multiplayer, but I played it solo, which is primarily as captain with some micromanaging of stations as needed (helm in particular needs a lot of attention since the AI is a complete moron). The mission structure quickly became repetitive, and thankfully there are only 6 short missions before the campaign is over. While I appreciate the visual experience in VR, I have zero desire to keep playing after obtaining most of the trophies.
Finally, a word of warning to physical disc collectors. This game has always-online DRM, meaning that even in single player mode you need to connect to online servers in order to play.

What a fun game. Although playing by yourself is not that good, when you grab three friends (or total strangers) online to play, it really feels like you're on a ship. Not so much a game, as more acting as though you're in the Federation. Pretty fun, but not sure how much long term play there is once people stop playing it.

You do not have to be a trekky fan to enjoy this game. they did a really good representation on. the original theme and good graphics wish for less problem solving and more space battles

I have not played it yet, but my son, who I bought it for, says he loves it. He said game play is as you are the captain and doing all of the same things they did in the series. He enjoys playing it.

If you are into star trek and want to be bridge officer. This game is for you. The controlls are a little difficult to learn however with time they start becoming second nature.

The game takes a simplistic idea and turns it into a must have for any VR fan. The idea of commanding a ship sounds boring on paper but it is very fun and satisfying once you put the headset on and dig into it.

If you are a fan you will like this game. Voice commands for captains chair in single player would be nice but other than that it gives you a good feel for the environment.

Have wanted a game like this for years, and am happy with how it turned out. Your enjoyment will greatly depend on how well you get along with your teammates, and how well you work together. In that way it replicates what it would be like to work together on a ship in space.
