A very good written series I haven't been disappointed yet

So far, I’ve watched the first three episodes and really enjoyed them. I haven’t seen the series before so I didn’t know what to expect. It looks great on Blu-ray and the visuals are fantastic. The SteelBook is gorgeous as well.

WOW ! I never subscribed to the streaming service that first airs Star Trek:Discovery,much preferring to wait until the blu-rays are released. as much as I loved Season One. Season Two is a hundred times better ! What a well written,well imagined,perfectly cast and directed series this is. 14 thrilling episodes and not a bad one in the bunch. Blu-ray brings out the special effects to perfection. HIGHLY recommended.

It may not be a perfect fit with cannon, but the Enterprise 1701 seen in some episodes looks great. For those who say "its not star trek" I would say get over it, its an enjoyable show on its own. 1st watching I was always comparing, but 2nd watching, once I knew how it "was not" or "did not" I was able to just watch it for what it is, and it was fun. They need to bring us a new show with Pike, #2, Spock, etc... Pikes Enterprise. I very much enjoyed Capt. Pike, he will be missed going forward.

Let's get this out of the way first...the show itself is excellent. It's fun and well made. Picture and audio quality is amazing. But the steelbook is beautifully made. It's glossy and sleek. The show's title has raised lettering which is nice. The colors really stand out. Just beautiful.

I don't stream "TV", but as well as they do the sound and visual effects on these programs why bother, just wait and pick it up on 'ray. Upconverted to 2160 it's probably the best I'll ever see it, and it's nice to see good Trek TV shows. Season one was nice, looking forward to season 2.

Awesome looking set. I'm only a few episodes into it but it's really amazing so far. It's interesting how it's working to keep in line with the timeline - while pushing the boundaries. The SteelBook is neat. Can't wait to binge watch this over the holidays!

I found season 2 entertaining. Maybe the SJW haters just don't like how a lot of women seem to be behind the creative reins. And I'ma big hater of Disney's Star Wars trilogy and not because the SJW haters hate it for.

Although this series is not the same as TOS or NG or DS9 or VOY. this is still a fun watch and has a unique story-line and some good portrayals of some old characters. It is still a fun Star Trek story.

Another great series. I like how they are introducing Captain Pike in this series. The writing and acting IMO is very entertaining. If you are a fan of Star Trek, i don't think you be disappointed.

I really love the packaging, hopefully they'll do the same for Picard when it's released. Major drawback is my local store didn't carry it and I had to drive to another location to get it same day

Yes, that's what you get with Star Trek: Discovery. Season 2 brings you 14 episodes, each almost an hour long, all made with what looks like a big-budget, theatrical movie budget. But don't start here. You need to go back and watch Season One if you haven't. Yes, there's profanity and blood, something most Treks before it avoided. But for me, it only serves to make it more grounded in reality, more relatable. More in-line with the realistic future we might reach one day. The actors are all superb. The varied characters interesting, especially as they reveal more backstory and you learn now only who they are, but how they became that way. I love this Trek. I know it gets a lot of hate from the die-hard fans, but I've been one since TOS was on tv in the afternoons after school (VERY pre-TNG) which is where I found it and fell in love with Kirk and the gang. But I can also appreciate the new characters, sets, special effects, all of it, of this fantastic new series. I mean seriously, how many times do we have to watch TOS get rehashed over and over? The new movies were ok, but IMHO Discovery is MILES beyond the sparkles of JJ's theatrical releases. I really hope that Discover continues for the standard 7-season run like the newer series had, and even surpasses them. I'd love to see 10 seasons of this show as long as they maintain the same levels of quality storytelling and presentation as the first two have had. And do yourself a HUGE favor. Watch this on the biggest screen you can!! It's worth every, single, pixel! Now go on. Live long and prosper!

I don't use streaming services for TV and I love Star Trek, so I wait for the blu-rays. Season 1 was great, and this season 2 set is even better - a must see for Star Trek fans.

The best first two seasons of a Star Trek series since the Original Series. This Season Two Blu Ray is well worth the price!

First, this season was even better than the first! Second, the special features were awesome. Third, the price was excellent.

Especially since one probably has the new Treks in steelbook, it's nice to have the Discovery seasons this way as well.

Great series and great steelbook case. Would recommend for anyone thinking of getting this case version.

LOVED SEASON 2 CAN'T WAIT TILL SEASON 3, HOPE THEY DO A STAR TREK- THE PIKE YEARS WOULD BE FANTASTIC !!!
