Confession - I'm probably one of the reasons Enterprise was cancelled.
I saw the premiere episode on its original air date, but for some reason I didn't watch any of the other episodes while the show was running. I have no idea why. I really enjoyed the pilot.
Fast forward to 12 years after the show has been canceled, I have some Best Buy gift cards, and I see that Enterprise is released in its entirety on BluRay. It must have just been the right time for me, but I grabbed it...and I LOVE it!
I really enjoy the cast as well as the stories. After years of watching Next Generation, DS9, and Voyager, all of which I loved, it was nice to pull away from the intermingled events of the 24th century to a time that hadn't really been explored yet...the beginning of Starfleet and the founding of a Federation. It was also a lot of fun seeing some of the "new" Star Trek canon equipment that wasn't embraced yet...like the transporters.
A lot of the stories help to frame aspects of Trek that are taken for granted...like the wisdom of establishing a Prime Directive. Oh, and seeing the burgeoning alliance with the Andorians (as represented to great effect with Commander Shan) as well as a somewhat more adversarial Vulcan/human relationship was well done and really helped to show just how far humanity had gone even as early as The Original Series.
While Captain Kirk will always be "my" Trek Captain and the USS Enterprise NCC-1701 will always be "my" Trek Enterprise and crew...Captain Archer, his crew, and the Enterprise NX-01 was a LOT of fun to watch and has earned its place in Trek canon.

What a shame only four seasons! I love the complexity of
interpreting Captain Archer's style and techniques of commandeering the first Earth warp-drive starship out into the unknown realms of our galaxy, especially without the overbearing, arrogant, and condescending Vulcans that finally "hipped" us to it hovering overhead. Opps, there is one Vulcan subcommander aboard, the beautiful, stately, and shapely T' Pol whose emotionless and ever-expressive eyes and gestures will keep all male Trekkies glued to every scene she subtly dominates with utmost nuance. Remember, the eyes tell all!

Great Series At A Great Price

Upon hearing that Enterprise was being released on Bluray a few years back I had been wanting to pick it up but the price had held me back as it was generally $70 or more per season and anywhere between $250 and $300 if I wanted to pick up the series. When I discovered that the series had been repackaged and was being offered at a much more reasonable price, I couldn't wait to pick up my copy, paying only $50 after gift cards (think its around $90 at its regular price). I like that the owners of the Star Trek properties have made an effort to get out the various series at more reasonable prices... last summer TOS and TNG were both released at nicer prices, now Enterprise is out and DS9 and Voyager are getting the same treatment as well although not on Bluray at this point

I think that "Star Trek: Enterprise" was once again one of the greatest classic "Star Trek" series of all-time and it was also one of my favorite series of all-time. I was a fan of all the "Star Trek" films and series and I also think that "Star Trek: Enterprise" had a lot of enjoyable and entertaining action, mystery, suspense and drama including really great and amazing casts, plots and personal storylines as well.

Years ago, Paramount released Star Trek Enterprise as individual seasons on BluRay. Now they have reissued it complete, for about what a season would cost before. It was great that Best Buy had the exclusive on the release, so I could get it weeks early.
While many people were not fans of this series, it had it's own charm. The cast was amazing, and the production was top notch.
This set looks amazing, and is packed with bonus features. You will not be disappointed.

Star Trek: Enterprise is a polarizing show in the Star Trek universe. Few love it, many hate it. I enjoyed the show, even when the plots were dull and the overall pace of the show was glacial. But the way they ended the series was pretty horrible (ask Jolene Blalock). Anyway, the worst thing about this new set, if you like the show, is the packaging. I felt like I needed a screwdriver to pry the discs out of the trays. There are a LOT of discs crammed into this set. So be aware if you purchase it. The show looks great on Blu-Ray, but it could look better. I think they skimped on some of the remastering. From a technical and packaging standpoint, I'd give this product a 1 or 2 star review. But the content is worth four stars, even if a LOT of the episodes are small in scope and not terribly engaging to non-Trek fans.

To be able to get the entire series for less than $100 is amazing for Star Trek! Up until the last few years every Star Trek series was around $100 a season. The transformation of watching this in high definition on blu-ray is truly impressive.
For all those Trekies that have heard the Enterprise series stinks I encourage you to give the show a shot...Especially if you're a DS9 fan! The first season maybe two is a little episodic like TNG with a central story in the background. The next two seasons run with a strong centeral story that's really good!

Great Value For Enterprise Series

While some people may argue how Enterprise isn't as good as the other tv shows in the Trek canon, it has some fine moments of its own. Sure there are more than a few recycled plots from the other series along with other aspects that would make Spock raise an eyebrow but one cannot deny the show was hitting its stride just prior to its cancellation. It's too bad we never got to see the Romulan War the would have played heavily in the fifth season. Instead we get a mostly mixed bag.
In terms of the product these blu ray discs are the same as the previous release. This was the first Trek series to make use of the widescreen format. While the picture looks great, the special effects are not redone but instead up converted. Still they don't look too bad but do still stand out. It's nice having all the seasons here in one collection at a great price.
Only drawback I see from the packaging is the way the discs are held in place. There are two discs over lapping one another making it difficult to access one disc over the other. Also, the discs are sometimes difficult to come out of these holders.
My rating is based from the series overall in terms of the shows quality and also the packaging. If you are looking to get the series at a great value, then it is a great buy.

I am a fan of all the series, but Enterprise is by far my most favorite. I watched every episode as it aired on tv & loved every episode. My husband was a Trekkie and this was his thing & he git me into it. He recently passed away and only series we didn't own was Enterprise. Had to buy it & the blue rays are of auch great quality & detail. The series is Amazing & you can still understand premise behind the franchise without watching all of the other series. Love It & Am Sure I Will Watch Series ...Over & Over Again'

Great compacted and complete collection of the blu ray episodes. The box art is one of the best I've ever seen! Came with the slipcase which I enjoy because they have a nice shine to them and add a little extra to the collection. Episodes all have a nice blu ray transfer and top notch sound. I could watch SB in pretty much anything so this was a real treat to watch. Still have two seasons to go...

Prequel to the Star Trek series

The series was beautifully done. From the first space steps into the galaxy and testing the technology that would make the series unique, to the unwarranted supervision of the Vulcans. This series summed up unanswered questions from the other series to the birth of the Fedetation. Even though the series had to hold back on the special CGI FX effects, it made up in excellent story arcs, to the finale, live long and prosper.

Great Show, Great Extras, Unimpressive Transfer

This set is chalk full of extras and well worth the buy for that reason alone if you're a fan of the show. Lots of commentaries, deleted scenes, and behind the scenes. Unfortunately, for a show that was filmed in HD, this HD transfer looks awfully muddled and soft. It's a shame, because this is a good show and deserves a Bluray that looks at least as good as the others in the series (the remasters of TOS & TNG on bluray look amazing). Still, this is the best version of Enterprise available and well worth the purchase.

While there are a few episodes that are a little "out there", overall I think this is the best of all the series. I find connecting and actually caring for the characters easier here than with, say, Next Generation. I was seriously disappointed the series didn't last more than 4 seasons. It had so much potential.

I am a devote Star Trek fan and was unable to see it on t.v. when it premiered. I am grateful for the opportunity to purchase this series on blu-ray and can now honestly say, it was awesome. Great series to add to a great legacy. Thank you, Best Buy for making it available to purchase in your store.

This is a well-made set of what was an uneven show. Most fans probably already know if they like or dislike the show itself. Technically, the BluRay is a great presentation, and it is nice to have the entire series in a well-priced bundle. There are a number of documentary featurettes and extras, which was a big reason that I bought the set.

I am A Sci Fi junky, Star wars/Star Trek alike and I just added Enterprise to my Box Collections. Even got this box set price matched for a better price. Best Buy is real good about price matching. If you’re a Star Trek fan, this is a good set to have. Setting is before the Capt. Kirk Era…A must have for fans!

I really loved "Enterprise" when it was on the air. I held out for an affordable "Blu Ray" edition and Best Buy delivered. The sale price made the decision for me. Nice packaging, as well. Next up, Voyager and DS 9!!!

Overall, this was a great Star Trek series and I am glad that I waited for this box set versus buying each season individually. Best Buy has an exclusive on it for the first month, so cool if you can find it in stock.
