I love Star Trek and the transfer to Blu-ray is great in this set. What I don't like the square view instead of wide screen.

Great series and glad they brought it on bluray. While the first season is not highest quality, the rest are superb.

I received this with both cases broken inside and out. There was no protective packaging. The discs them selves seem to be ok so far.

I liked this movie better than Star Trek Into The Darkness. I found it better written with plenty of action. The actors did a good job and I'm gonna miss Anton Yelchin (and Chekov) in future Star Trek movies.

The reason why I give it a three-star rating was because of the DVD holder does not hold well and the DVDs aren't marked to show how they go in order

Bought this a couple months ago and only last week made it to season 4. So when I encountered a bad disc (hangs at several parts in multiple episodes then skips ahead, does this on multiple blu-ray players), I contacted BB for assistance. They refused to help me because I'm out of the return period. So be wary if you buy TV seasons from Best Buy and you can't watch them all as soon as you get home.

I remember watching this show when it first came out on television. It had to grow on me, which didn't take long. Excellent show with excellent special effects. Even more so now that some of the effects have been updated for Blu-ray. $99 is an excellent price for the whole series. It's the lowest price I could find. Unfortunately, finding it is another story. I live in Dallas/Ft. Worth. Granted, we started looking for it the 2nd day of release, but we only found one store, 30 miles away, that had it in stock. And the only reason we got that one was because they had accidently filled someone's prepaid order twice, so we were able to retrieve the extra copy from customer service. I can't speak for other cities, but they are basically out of stock here in DFW. Here's hoping Best Buy still sells it for 99 dollars if and when they get more in stock. It says the regular price is $159. I would still buy it if it were currently that much. The series was that good. Excellent storyline's and as I said before, special effects. It's just icing on the cake if you can get it for $99.

I bought this actually as a gift to a friend, who is a big Star Trek: The Next Generation fan, but cannot afford the individual sets. It is a very nice option to get the complete series in a much lower price point. The Blu-Ray edition is highly recommended, as the original TV series was actually filmed in standard definition, the production team has put in so much effort to remaster every frame to high definition. Go check out the making of documentary and you will be floored by the amount of effort they took to reshoot every episode into HD format. Only let down is the packaging is a little lacking. I wished each season can come in their own box instead of jamming everything together now.

For those of you who love to think, who love 1980's/90s optimism, who love to wonder about how humans can be a better race in the future, this is the show for you. I first saw it at a young age, but my wife was introduced just recently and now she wants to watch TNG (as the show is called) almost every night. The characters are timeless and the stories make you think in a way many modern shows won't. Getting all the seasons in a single set is an amazing value. Easily the best money I have ever spent in my life.

The quality of the discs and the HD upgrade is amazing and well worth the incredible price BB offered this for (leas than half the price of their Seattle-based competition). The packaging is a little less than stellar, though, with all 7 seasons crammed into to large clamshell cases. A few discs were loose in shipping and already have marks. The UK package is far nicer and more secure, alas not to be had at this price. Would also have loved to have digital copies included, but that would have been robbery (on my part) at this price...

I got this set for $99 and that's an awesome price for TNG. The quality has been greatly improved over my previous DVD set. A couple discs were loose in my case and probably caused by shipping, but nothing was damaged. If you like Trek...you need this.

Star Trek: The Next Generation was always a favorite of mine. This box set contains all 7 seasons on Blu-Ray. The quality is excellent for such an old show. In fact, it is my first Blu-Ray purchase. The Best Buy price was so much cheaper than Amazon, it practically paid for the cost of a Blu-Ray player.

Star Trek on Blu-ray is usually pretty expensive. Previous versions cost a couple hundred dollars. When this was announced on sale at $99 I couldn't pass it up. Great value and a great show.
