I'm assuming if you have purchased this you already know and like star trek. It still to me is better than the original and I loved the original too. My favorite of the series is still when they meet the Borg in season 2. Only complaint is the packaging of the series but still great for the price!

This STAR TREK--The Next Generation has been restored and commented with excellent attention to detail (including--sound, special effects, and more). I did not see many of the shows when they were shown on TV years ago, so this DVD set is a SPECIAL way to see them now. GREAT!!!!

Now THIS is what fans want. Star Trek The Next Generation was originally produced for standard definition televisions. For the High Definition Blu Ray release, they completely re-constructed the series from original filmed elements (using thousands of reels of original film). Truly spectacular.

The picture quality is great, which should expected for a Blu-Ray. I, like many others, have the entire series on DVD and was leery to spend another $100+ but I will say it is well worth it. The packaging is nothing special but looks nice and is rather compact for 7 seasons worth of discs.

We have only watched the series premiere, "Encounter at Farpoint" and the accompanying special features on disk 1. The remastered quality is amazing and one of the special features illustrated how the shows were enhanced. We got the set on sale which made the find even better. Enjoy!

If you love Star Trek: The Next Generation, you must buy this. Best picture and sound thanx to restoration, and all special features previously released, as well as new ones.

Everyone involved in remastering this series did a great job with the picture and sound quality. Each episode looks like it was filmed yesterday, with the exception of the fact that they are not presented in wide screen format. But that's the way they were made back then.

I love this blu ray box set. One of the best box set I have. I love having all the episodes of this TV show. I love all the extras. I am a Star Trek fan and this box set is for all the Star Trek fans out there. To have all the episodes and extras in one box set is great.

After years of waiting we finally have the complete series of STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION on blu-ray! So happy to have this box set. I bought this from BEST BUY because of the low cost and fast shipping. If you love this series this is what you need.

I've been wanting the entire series for along time, but it was expensive. The entire series is now very affordable. The discs are packaged well and I have had no problems with them skipping, freezing, etc. Glad I picked this one up, and you will be too!

While I appreciate the entire series in one package, CBS could have done a heck of a lot better with the package than this travesty.... It is one huge box with a removable tray, supporting EVERY disk... hard to find specific discs as they are all the same looking, and it does not fit on my Blu-Ray based shelves.... sigh. When will companies ever learn.... Product is great, and good price, but package is horrible.

Jean Luc, Data , Troi, Riker, Worf, all look even more fabulous with the BluRay quality. I already own each and every show when they came out. But the price was definitely worth it here and I'm glad I took the plunge. E N G A G E / E N E R G I Z E / B U Y

I had been searching for Star Trek, The Next Generation on blu-ray for a reasonable price, and Best Buy came through! The visual quality of the episodes is much better than I expected. Glad I waited for the blu-ray edition. Glad Best Buy had it in stock.

We'd bought most of the TNG seasons on Blu Ray by the time we bought this, but thought it'd be nice to have one box to save space. Sold the other ones second hand and bought this. The only thing I dislike is that the disks come loose far too easily.

Bought this Pioneer external bluray burner for the USB 3.0 interface. I took it out of the box and plugged it into my laptop. It was recognized immediately and was able to play Bluray disc's immediately with no problems with tiling on my screen.

What can be said that has not already about Star Trek: The Next Generation? It was a magnificent show with groundbreaking special effects for the television of its day. It is a must see on Blu-ray as these glorious effects are on showcase.

I love what has been done with this series. Even cleaned up, it's funny to see the future with older hair styles on display. Seriously, unless you must have cut scenes on your show, this series gives you a lot to enjoy, a lot to think about.

I picked this up on sale and it was one of the best values for a complete series of Star Trek that I've ever seen. The Next Generation looks and sounds incredible on these Blu Rays. Well worth a look for a fan who doesn't already have them.
