These discs are a great compilation of such a wonderful show. The only drawback is there are no subtitles available. To me, that's a bummer.

Episodes start with Spanish subtitles turned on. Must start viewing then stop, then turn subtitles to off, and then restart episode.

This item is great that you can have all the episodes together and watch hem in order as they were meant to be.

Start from the beginning or pick your favorite episode, they're all here! Great to see the originals again!

Having watched Star Trek over the years I was amazed at the picture was like watching a new series. Great visuals.

Perfect item for any Trekky, or anyone who ever watched the original series and liked it.

I picked this up because it was a great deal for every episode of the original Star Trek, but most of it feels very dated and cheesy now. There were only a few episodes that I really enjoyed and I think the series was much overrated. Star Trek the Next Generation is indeed a much better series

This is a great gift set! I only wish that it came with digital copy.

I'm a huge Star Trek fan but I can only give this collection three stars because the updated special effects are distracting.

Set was ok prefer different case too many discs together standard dvd quality. Sound ok. No separate sheet with guide was put on back of cover insert.

I was looking forward to this collection, however, they changed so much from the original that it made the experience a little less desirable.

good price for the entire set. fun to watch episodes not seen for nearly 40 years

good quality and options on the menu, lots of extras and foot notes , I liked the detail intro to the cast and guest stars.

It was a real pleasure seeing the episodes of a show I had only seen in syndication uncut for the first time,and the enhanced special effects were very thoughtfully done. It would have been easy for the special effects team to over due them and they would have been jarring, distracting the viewer from the story but they took care to make the improvements seamless and fit the overall look of the episodes. The extras are interesting and the only ones I have watched more then once.
