I was always a fan of this trilogy and despite owning it on Blu-Ray since 2016, I felt the need to upgrade to 4K, and I'm glad I did! The jump in picture quality isn't huge and all 3 films are only 2K DIs upscaled to 4K sadly, but there is a noticeable uptick in detail. The main reason to get this collection though is the addition of HDR! The HDR really makes the first 2 films POP with all the lens flares and phaser shots being dazzlingly bright! Into Darkness is without a doubt the best looking of the 3 in this collection due in no small part to the fact that over 40% of the movie was shot in an IMAX ratio meaning your whole TV screen will be covered in 4K HDR goodness during those scenes. Sadly the final film Beyond improves the least from the move to 4K with HDR being fairly dull most of the film and the uptick in resolution not being much of a jump over the existing Blu-Ray. Every film DOES get a fantastic Dolby Atmos audio mix though which is worth the upgrade on its own! Overall I do recommend this release, but I must warn that this set does NOT come with any bonus feature discs. You have to buy each film as a seperate release to get those bonus features.

I know many who are fans may not like this but they did a great job with the timeliness they chose here in these movies. Beware that the digital is on VUDU only and sometimes streaming the 4k it cuts off the video and only the audio will continue. Aside from that great buy.

It’s really good with my new atmos surround sound system! Some movies are great for effects, and some are great stories that keep you captivated. This has both.

JJ Abrams did a horrible job. The flashes of white light just disrupts the action. What was he thinking? I still recommend the movie to die hard Trek fans.

When i put the movie on, i was expecting a gorgeous picture, but i was met with a jaw dropping image. This transfer nails everything. The contrast, the color, the hdr, the audio, and the changing aspect ratios are simply put; STUNNING. Order this immediately and add it to your collection.

I'm a huge Trekkie and had owned these movies on regular bluray previously. Felt it was time for an upgrade. THe image quality is spectacular and it's a good colletion of this set of movies. Wish it was a steelbook but that's okay :)

I enjoyed watching these Star Trek Movies at home on my new Sony XR55A80K OLED 4K flat screen television more than seeing them in the theatre. Sound and picture quality are superb. How could the manufacturers ever improve on this?

All 3 ST movies in one pack. BR4k, BR standard and a digital copy of each. How can you hate it? Very convenient package and all movies in excellent detail. Recommended.

I discovered StarTrek and started watching all their shows. I got these because I love Chris Pine as Kirk. Great dvd! Great visuals and sound.

Good trilogy. Plenty of action. Very good colors and sounds. Better than the original Star Trek television series.

This Star Trek is a high quality 4K Ultra HD set! So nice to have the set together for easy storage and future re-watching!

The 4k transfer quality was great and the price per movie is not bad, if you're a star trek fan id recommend.

With the cost of each of them alone is alot but with this bundle it was great and well worth it!

My collection of 4K UHD Blu-Ray movies has grown significantly since I installed my very own 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos home theatre setup. I’ve purchased and analyzed a number of the classic action adventure and sci-go movies. Up until I purchased this bundle of Star Trek movies, the version of the original Top Gun movie held first place for best Dolby Atmos Track. But after watching these Star Trek films, it completely blew away everything in my collection, even the remastered Star Wars movies m. I am beyond impressed with how great the Dolby Atmos track is for all three movies. The highs, mids, and bass are in perfect balance. The picture quality is good, however, there are certain scenes where the film grain looks weird. If you have a nice sound system that is Dolby Atmos compatible, you should include these Star Trek movies within your Blu-Ray collection.
