Finally an American Steelbook of the Star Wars movie in 4k. I really love the Embossed Disney 100 year Anniversary 4k Steelbook I purchased. Episodes 4,5,and 6 are being released first

I never thought A New Hope would blow my mind again, but it did! The picture quality was amazingly incredible! The Dolby Atmos was room shattering!

The Star Wars SteelSeries A New Hope in 4K delivers stunning visuals that truly bring the galaxy to life. The Dolby Atmos sound is immersive and powerful, making every scene feel epic and engaging. The picture quality is crisp and vibrant, perfect for longtime fans and newcomers alike. However, I wasn’t a huge fan of the added special effects—they didn’t always mesh well with the original content and sometimes felt distracting. While the enhancements show technical skill, they take away a bit from the classic charm of the original film. Despite this, the overall experience is still fantastic thanks to the beautiful 4K presentation and immersive audio. A great addition to any Star Wars collection, especially if you appreciate cutting-edge visuals and sound.

It's a nice set, 4K Ultra, Digital & Blu-Ray. It's the same digitally cleaned up & edited version as previously released with Lucas's double-plus-good revision tweaks - Han is a smuggling scoundrel, he fired first!

Question? Why would Best Buy go through the motion and effort to create physical media Best Buy exclusives steel books from Disney only to announce that Best Buy will no longer be carry physical media movies in their box stores? What is Best Buy thinking, does this also mean that they will no longer be selling DVD/Blu Ray/4K players as well? From all indications physical media sales are on the rise, physical media is one of the only reasons I frequently shop Best Buy. This 100th anniversary Best Buy exclusive from Disney is a great addition to physical media.

I love the Star Wars DVDs 4-6. Getting them on sale, and as 4k versions was ideal. I know I could stream them, but not in 4k. I also like the sound better from a disc as oppose to streaming.

Excellent packaging and excellent 4K transfer. If you have a sound bar, thus will be just like being in a theater. Get your copy niw.

It was such a treat to view this film is 4k and the steelbooks are so clean and nice to look at on my media shelf

Without getting into the merits of the film itself or the video/audio reproduction of this high definition release, I find Disney's artwork for the steelbooks offensive. We all know that the original Star Wars films (A New Hope was the first) had no relation to Disney when they were made. I greatly enjoyed it in the theater as a kid more than 40 years ago. For Disney to buy Lucasfilm recently and then include Star Wars as part of its century campaign is irritating and the artwork does not do justice to this groundbreaking (at the time of its release) movie. Save some money and get a different version.

Star Wars A New Hope in 4k with Dolby Atmos sound is well worth it.

Classic Sci-Fi movie. Fun for the whole family. Picture quality is excellent and sound is solid.

Decent film with good 4k transfer. The steelbook looked kinda dumb tho for Disney 100.

One of the best of the best Star Wars movies in 4K which brings back memories of seeing the original Star Wars in theatres back in 1977 now restored to its original brilliance this is a must for all Star Wars fans.

the steelbook I get has a ding on it. But the good thing of this steelbook package is: the 4K disc is not stack on top of bonus disk any more which is what the standard package does. This is the special edition, the CGI added 20 years ago os blury and not get much benefit from 4K while all original content definitly get a bit boost from the 4K HDR.

Great quality steelbook minus disneys mushroom stamp at the top. Itd look so much better without it.

This is one you want to OWN — don’t trust streaming services to have it available. A must have for any physical media movie library.

The 1977 classic that started the worldwide phenomenon that is the Star Wars galaxy. This Steelbook is beautiful and the 4K is brilliant.
