Original classic and in 4K physical media on sale for 14.99 at best buy. This is the movie that started it all back in 1977. I would recommend you buy it in the store so you can make sure you get a copy with a slipcover. 4k Disc Blu ray Disc Digital copy.

I watched Rogue One: A Star Wars Story first then I watched New Hope and it was great. The only thing I did not like was the Jabba scene. It looks really bad. Bad CGI. The 4K version looks amazing on my new OLED. All the bonus features are on the Blu-ray. The Blu-ray looks great on my 4K OLED. The HDR is HDR10.

By now everyone knows how terrific this movie is. I bought it for the 4K resolution picture to see if there was a noticeable difference from the Blu Ray edition. To be honest there is. The picture is clear and sharp and the sound is room shaking. That being said I am really done paying for the same movies over and over again. I had VHS copies, DVD and Blu ray sets and now 4K. I probably won't be adding the others of the series in 4K (unless the price drops a lot) but this is nice to have, being the b original and all.

Brilliant to see this killer movie on Blu-ray of course, except for two things - first, the CG additions that for me at least, take away from the feel of the original version, then the fact that the high quality can actually SHOW imperfections not seen in the original versions (boxes around moving Tie Fighters etc). That said, it's my second favorite Star Wars movie and is still just awesome to have on Blu-Ray. Totally recommend it for EVERYONE!!

I think they remastered this movie to have a high quality version since this is the 1st star wars movie been release. I know it was episode IV but it has explained to it why they start at this episode just try to search for it. But this movie must have it.

While occasionally flat looking and lacking in the audio department a bit, 'A New Hope' makes a admirable debut on 4K. Like with all Disney 4K movies, you'll need to turn up the volume to truly enjoy the Dolby Atmos track, but it's as immersive as this film can get on home video! The 4K transfer and HDR makes this classic shine but also makes the horrible Special Edition CGI editions stand out more. If you love Star Wars like I do, definitely pick this up or the 9-film set!

I got the 4K version to compare to the regular DVD to see the difference. I played both on my 4K DVD player and 4K TV and I loved the 4K picture quality. Not sure if I'm going to replace the rest just yet maybe when I get a 8K TV.

It is exactly what you are advertised; digital copy included works, bonus features are cool.

This is the best the movie has looked since the original 70s theater run. I was a little kid when this movie released, and I remember maybe the second or third time I went to see the movie with my pops as it stayed in the theaters until 79 or so. There is a magical feeling of 3D depth (not actual 3D) that you feel with the 4k resolution and HDR. I highly recommend to any Star Wars fan even if you have purchased other formats like me.

I went ahead and picked these up during the May the 4th holiday sale. I'm happy that I finally purchased the 4K editions of these films. They look great on our tv and the soundtrack is top notch.

Aside from Han not shooting first, and the horrible CGI George Lucas added in the 90's, this is the best version of Star Wars. The 4K really shines! And a digital code for 4K? Can't beat it!

The picture and menus look great on this UHD version. I did notice a small audio issue on the Dolby track. I would still recommend it. The color looks MUCH better than the previously released blu-rays. A warmer color palette is used that is more accurate to the original release.

I just bought a UHD (4k) Blu-Ray player, and I had lost my Blu-Ray copy of "A New Hope," so I replaced it with the 4k version. I think it's a bit better quality than the regular Blu-Ray, but I'm not sure my eyes are talented enough to really see a big difference.
