If you can't afford to get the Master Replica Series then the Black FX series is the next best one, the handle is metal and the sounds and color of the saber is pretty good. They also make a nice collection piece or if you just want to have fun with it, it would also make a great addition to your Halloween costume.

This lightsaber is more than I expected. You can play with it in the backyard and display it in a man cave...

This is a beautiful prop, NOT a toy. Well worth the cost. Great for any Star Wars fan. Good for a Cosplay/ costume. The sounds and lights are very good. The weight is much heavier than the toys ones. However this is not a toy but a replica of an elegant weapon from a more civilized age.

Ever since seeing the Star Wars movie Ive been fascinated by lightsabers. The FX Lightsabers feel great in yout hand. I got this item on clearance and random selection unfortunately. I did receive Vader's red lightsaber but the box was crushed. The sales rep suggested I open the box and inspect it before leaving. The lightsaber luckily was fine and the rep even helped me tape it back up. Hope to collect them all one day.

I've been wanting one of these Lightsabers for years and I finally have one and it's great. The sounds are what really make this go from really cool to can't put down. I can't wait to take it out to Star Wars Celebration. The price was good and I like that Best Buy had it for me to get.

great lightsaber its like the real thing great for walls or counter my only problem with it is that thereisnt a feature were you can turn off the sound and just have the light but its still badass to have I felt like a sith just wielding it its currently on my wall looking nice and purrty

awesome star wars collectible that actually has a nice gimmick, the blade lights up and makes authentic star wars sound effects, but be warned, this is not a kids toy, its scaled to life size and it will break and break other things too

These are really good quality and so cool. They also have a good weight to them. The sounds are great and they make a different noise and flash when you strike something.

Best Buy has the best priced lightsabers. I just wish they'd let us choose which color to get. I ordered 4 and all 4 were likes green lightsaber.

I wanted one of these Black Series lightsabers for a while now and to get a awesome price. I knew that I had a 33% percent chance of getting the Luke Skywalker lightsaber and lucky me, I got it. it has a lot of heft and is not a toy. it looks so real. However, I have heard conflicting reports whether you can joust with them or not. The only hang up is the display is flimsy but usable. I love showing it off.

I got this on sale at a local store for under $100 which is a great price for the quality of this saber. It's not screen accurate and the handle seems too thick for a saber but for this price it is very solid. Metal handle and accents that closely match the real thing. A solid feel to the blade and great lighting and sound effects. I ended up buying one Luke saber and one Vader saber because I liked it so much.

The only negative thing I have to say about this replica is that the neck is too thick and doesn't match Luke's lightsaber in Return of the Jedi (but for the purpose of functionality, this isn't realistic).

This light saber was awesome, color was awesome only paid $100 bucks on sale, couldn't beat it, if you know anything about these you know the black series are the bomb! Wish I could get the Kylo Ren !

If you are a diehard star Wars fan a must have. A little fragile for any type of role playing but great to take off the wall when other star wars fans are around to show off

This is a little lighter feeling then the master replicas version, the lights are not as smooth when activating and deactivating. However the light sabor looks and feels good. It's a little brighter then then M.R. versions I used to sell from 2006-2009.

I love it very realistic metal hilt and sounds! The light from the blade is very bright can light up a dark room easily. Sounds from the movie every time you move it. Shipping was good I got it two days earlier from the projected time of delivery. Packed very well so it's protected great during shipping. This isn't really a heavy duty one to have light saber duels with, more of a collectable item and great for Halloween .Was a quite cheap compared to full price but and worth the money this gets five stars from me!

awesome my grandson and family like it. I like the color i choose and the sounds as you interact while moving it around like a true Jedi.

After buying this lightsaber to add to my collection, I was a bit wary because of it’s light weight in comparison to my older ones. This worry was put to rest after closer inspection. The only difference was that they had traded out the heavy steel for lighter aluminum while maintaining quality. So this saber looks great and is light enough for my young son to (gently) play with it as well. This Black Series light saber is a great buy, and addition to any Star Wars fan’s arsenal.

The handle is metal and well made. The blade is bright and makes great sounds. Great volume. My boyfriend loves it! Perfect for a kid or "big"kid.
