Material and construction notwithstanding, this toy is a lot of fun to own. I am a medium size adult, the helmet fits very well. Thus, on a child's head, it may fit a bit loose. The inside liner/pads are adjustable. Nevertheless, the stereo sound and voice activated sound effects (3 AA batteries required) are really cool. The manual slide visor is cool and like I said, a conversation piece like no other.

The best Star Wars toy helmet in the market. I wish I had one when I was little. The feel, the look the sound f/x.

I remember when this was announced as the next helmet in the "Black Series" line of toys. The previous ones were "meh" to me, as they didn't fit my large adult head very well, but since they were toys, I didn't get too upset. Then they announced this helmet, which I have been longing for ever since I saw it in production stills for The Force Awakens. I felt a pang of jealousy, knowing it wouldn't fit me. Fast forward to the release, and I hear that, if the lining is removed, it will fit an adult! I hear this many times, from friends with large noggins, such as mine! So, I finally had a chance to pick it up, and sure enough, it fits me! The helmet is a solid plastic, the liner is held in by Velcro so you don't have to worry about cutting anything out, the microphone rotates, and the visor slides up and down. The electronics (not what I bought it for) are kinda cool, with sound that helps a kid pretend they're in an X-Wing, with BB-8 speaking to them. All in all, this helmet makes me very happy, and it is exactly what I wanted.

This Black Series helmet is much better than the helmets Hasbro made for The Force Awakens. The fit is good; I wear a 7.5/XL in hats and I'm able to fit my huge noggin in this, taking out some of the velcro padding. My only gripe is the inconsistency in the manufacture process. I bought two helmets; one has a rattling sound from the side button while the other doesn't. The paints are off where you can see that their sprayers were not well aligned. No biggie to most, im sure, but I'm particular about fit and finish. The surround effects in the helmet were ok, but the voice activation worked well on one of my helmets and not well on the other. Overall, pretty good (I'd give it 4.5 stars, really) and an awesome piece for Halloween and for opening night for The Last Jedi!

It's a little pricey, but this is a pretty great buy. If you're a collector, it makes a fantastic display piece, especially if you have other Star Wars stuff. It's also durable enough to be a fun present for a young X-wing pilot in training, and the sound effects are great fun.

The padding in the helmet makes it a little snug, but nothing that can’t be fixed because this helmet is amazing. They did a great job with details and I’m totally loving it.

Great gift idea for anyone who loves Star Wars. Realistic and sound effects are great, a comfortable fit with padding inside the helmet.

This helmet is a must have. Is comfortable and fit better than the kylo ren and storm tropper one. Worth the price

The fit is a bit small for adults but the quality and the look is spot on! The sounds are really nice too.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this helmet but was surprised when I put it on and all the sound effects that came out! It fits great and they even give sponge like things in case it’s too big you can stick these Velcro things to the inside of the head to get a perfect fit! I am not a huge Star Wars fan but liked the helmet a lot! So all you fans this is a must!

I bought this for my son but I think I wear it more than he has. Seems to be adult sized. I’m impressed with the build quality, only cheap part is the flip out microphone. I would recommend to any Star Wars fan.

So I bought this helmet because hey who wouldn’t have an x-wing helmet. I wear it everytime I drive in my car and feel like I’m actually flying an x-wing. What’s best is when it’s snowing at night, I turn on my brights and floor it, it feels just like going into hyperdrive until I slide on the snow and hit a tree. Oh well nothing my bb8 droid can’t fix.
