Enjoyed this film in 4K. All Star Wars movies seem to have the same theme although always entertaining.

As a lifetime fan of Star Wars, it was a no brainer that I had to pick this up. It does have its moments that get a little boring, but overall it's a good movie. I wonder if Disney will follow the pattern ( I hope not ) and have the dark side win in Vol 8. I look forward to the future and all the possibilities that this juggernaut of wealth will expense onto this franchise.

There were many choices between the 3 different type of Star Wars movies. One was a collectible with a steel case which was special to Best Buy. The other was blue ray and dvd movie in this combo. The last was just the did movie. Out of the three I chose the blue ray and dvd movie because this was the biggest bang for the buck. Because this contained bothe did and blue ray.

In all this is a good movie to get the new generation to watch! The fight scenes could have been better but from what I hear its due to the lack of training of Jedi's. The movie in general, in my opinion, left a little something to be desired. Don't look at this as a movie to compare to the previous movies. If you look at it from that perspective. You won't like this movie.

Got the steel book version when it was on sale. My son was super excited when I brought it home. The steel book itself is great, and the black with Kylo Ren on the front looks very good. This came with DVD, Blu-Ray, and digital hd versions of The Force Awakens. For the few dollars more, this was definitely worth the difference. Especially if you love Star Wars like we do!

Posters are good quality. They are the size of the package they come in. I thought they may be folded but they aren't. My experience with online movies has been good. I would say that if you are given the option of where to redeem the code it would be with VUDU. They have a pretty good system. It says you can redeem the code now and it will activate when the movie is released.

I love this series and was a little weary after Disney took over but was surprised! Can't say I'm happy about Han Solo but I won't say about what. If you want to see this movie but haven't seen the previous six, you'll be a little lost. Take a weekend to watch the first six in a movie marathon then finish it up with this one. Good luck and may the force be with you, always!

Sure some people didn't like it. But then again some people don't like puppies and kittens and adorable creatures, so what do they know? Great movie, laughs, crying (sort of) or at least shock, great special effects. Believable new characters and the return of some old and dear friends. Thoroughly enjoyed it but for one scene (and you all know which one I'm talking about).

I saw the original 'Episode IV' when it opened in 1977 - when I heard JJ Abrams was going to direct this movie, I thought 'great - another reboot'. But, after seeing this movie, with members of the original cast and its unswerving dedication to the original trilogy, I was truly impressed! This movie is a great tribute to George Lucas and his original vision for the series.

I love Star Wars so I am predisposed to enjoy this movie. Some will say it is a copy of Star Wars. That's like saying you used the same toaster to make another piece of toast. I enjoy a good piece of toast and love this movie. I recommend you make a piece of toast or two and then watch this movie. Popcorn is good as well. But toast does not get stuck in between your teeth.

The Force Awakens Revitalizes the Star Wars Legacy

The Force Awakens is able to draw upon what made the original trilogy so unforgettable (engaging characters who interact with one another against a backdrop of effects that serve their story), while updating it to modern sensibilities (a female protagonist who doesn't need anybody's help). Entertaining from start to finish, plus loaded with extras to pour through at home.

Bringing Star Wars Back to Where it Should Be

Sure, it's got a few minor flaws and the story line seems a little too reminiscent of past Star Wars movies, but overall, J. J. Abrams has done a great job creating movie with the look and feel of the original Star Wars trilogy. It's not perfect, but after having to endure George Lucas' last three movie debacles, the series has definitely been put back on the right track!

I'd put off purchasing this movie until I spotted it at Best Buy. The steel book edition is worth the packaging alone. With sharp graphics on both the front and back of the steel book case. It comes with 3 discs: the DVD, Blu Ray, and special features disc. The best part is I paid less for the steel book than if i'd purchased the regular plastic covered edition.

Whether or not you are a die-hard Star Wars fan, this is a great blu-ray to it. It comes with 2 Bly-ray discs and a DVD. The first blu-ray is just the movie, and the second is a slew of bonus features, all video files of different short topics and one long documentary. Everything is top-notch, being very clean and easy to navigate. I think is how a Blu-ray should be done.

There are many similarities between Episode 7 The Force Awakens and Episode 4 A New Hope. As such, it can be viewed as a knockoff or as paying respect to the original. Regardless, it is a fun and surpisingly funny action packed Star Wars adventure. The new characters are likeable and the action as good as any in the series. It's a must have for any Star Wars fan.

I like all of the Star Wars movies to varying degrees. Even the prequels are somewhat entertaining just for the effects and some of the characters. Force Awakens has great effects and characters with a pretty good story.. I feel it ranks up there with the original trilogy - just good fun. 3D is the best way to see it and the extras with the set are very nice.

This is the third set of these movies that I have purchased. I still have the Orginals on widescreen standard definition. I bought these because the ones I let someone borrow were never returned and I couldn't stand not having a Blue Ray version. These are very good movies and provide a lot of Star Wars background information worth having for SW fans.

Great movie that lived up to the hype. It was wonderful to see the script acknowledge the age of the original cast - to see the maturing of their characters and the interactions with the younger generations. It was also nice to see people on the screen that are my age. I was there at the beginning and have continued to enjoy the series. Even Jar Jar can't chase me away.

Great continuing story line with more questions to be answered in the next chapter. The Star Wars series is reminiscent of the 1930 & 40's serial films (see Flash Gordon, Commando Cody--no, really see these).
The 3D effects are done well for this film. 1-Buy this Blu Ray. 2-Find someone with a 3D TV. 3-Make friends with them. 4-Ask to watch it with them.

The movie itself is quite good and very entertaining. It's a great start to the new trilogy. It's definitely worth owning. That said, I don't think it's better than any of the original trilogy movies, and it may not even be as good as Episode III. What the movie lacks is character development and a naturally flowing story line. I felt like there were quite a few "leaps of faith" that had to be taken in the movie (e.g. - Rey becomes pretty powerful pretty quick and Finn's conversion from being a storm trooper to joining the rebellion lacks a solid explanation).
But... if you're a fan of the franchise, forget about all these details and just enjoy the movie.
