not worth $65

No one should spend $65 on this game. After watching the previews I thought that this was going to be a great game but after I beat it in about 6 hours I felt that Lucas ripprd me off. The cinemas are cool but other than that nothing else. This game definetely feels rushed. Do not buy just rent.

PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY! RENT IT! And put your hard earned cash on something better!

Being a big fan of the first installment, I had high hopes for The Forced Unleashed II. Game play has been improved somewhat. The cinematic camera angles ramp up the in game excitement and the voice acting in the CG scenes are decent. The two light saber approach is a great idea but turned out to be a novelty at best. The light saber combat was very lackluster. A new force power has been added (Mind Trick). This was a welcome addition. Sith on steroid mode or whatever was kinda worthless considering you are more than powerful enough to handle anything that was thrown at you without it. That brings me to enemies. The game has a stupidly repetitive and predictable array of...well...punching bags. This includes Vader. You only venture to three worlds including a worthless trip to Yoda's stomping grounds on Big D where oh by the way neither one cares about why they are there! All the Jedi are dead Yoda and here is one standing in front of you stronger than Palpatine, Vader and wussy Luke combined! They both just say peice...see ya and thats it! The whole story took a bath lackluster. I didn't care about what happened to the characters nearly as much as the first game. I beat the story mode in 7-8 hours. This includes playing through to light side ending and then an entire replay to the dark side ending. Whers my change for that 60 bucks I gave ya!? I won't even care if they make a third game if its got enough in common with this one. How about you CLONE your enthusiasm for a good story and go from there!

Lots of Potential

This game could've been so much more! It has a great story line, well done graphics and it's Star Wars, BUT, it is incredibly short and offers a little challenge. I was able to play through twice (once on easy, once on Unleashed difficulty) in around 15 hours. One the bonus side, there is Endor DLC that offers another level to play but its the same length and challenge as above. For the trophy hunters, EASY PLATINUM and the Endor DLC comes with trophies!!! I recommend this game but don't be surprised if you're trading this in within a week or two,

Awesome Star Wars game, while it lasts....

The Force Unleashed 2 is an improvement on the first game for the game mechanics. The graphics are amazing and the flow of the game is great. The only place that the game falls short, literally, is the length of the game. The game can be beat within 6 or so hours, possibly even quicker. This game has the most EPIC ending to a video game I have ever seen, but that doesn't make up for the short story it contains.

After playing Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, I had very high expectations for the sequel. It took me less than 3 hours to beat the whole game, considerably less than the original. The graphics are fantastic and the new abilities and controls are excellent, but the considerably reduced length as well as very limited levels was incredibly disappointing. I would wait until it goes on sale for $19.99 to buy it, and even then maybe just buy it used.

Lucasarts should be ashamed! But lets start w/the good-graphics are awesome, fighting w/2 lightsabers is great...that's about it. This game was one of the shortest I've ever played, just a few boss fights, 2 new locations-a MAJOR letdown from the 1st game, which was one of the best ever. Been waiting a long time for this game to come out, feels like I've been robbed. Best advice if you MUST have this game-wait a few weeks; it'll be $19.99 in a few weeks. Pitiful!

It took me 5 hrs to pass on medium. There are 3 boss fights that are not really bosses and vader. I kept rushing through the game like if i had to, but was never timed. The graphics are great, the combat is alot better and story is good. The game does feel short, and repeats itself but thats about it. It has some replay value and challenges .

I was very pleased with this game. The story is a bit of a stretch, but it plays well. I'm not a person that plays through games mulitple times, so the lenght of playing through one time in this game was dissappointing. A good buy though for a Star Wars fan.

I bought this on sale and used a store credit and RZ credit to buy it. Its a good game if you can get it on sale but it is too short. I doubt I will play it again. Rent it...

Like I do with all games before I buy them, I rent them. I should have done the same with this one. I beat the first one while renting, what made me think that it would last longer. The graphics were great and it's a Star Wars game, so it hurts a little bit to write a less than average review.

For an old man like myself it is OK to be able to easily dispatch your adversaries. For the true gamer the challenges are lame. Maybe it was my change from X-Box 360 to PS3, but I doubt it.

I don't know where to begin but i will say this...the force is not as strong as it should be with this one. I mean...they did a few things right, (mostly the cinematics) BUT everything else just seems half stepped. The level design is cool but there seems to be "no energy" in them. The combat has it's moments, but falls way short when compared to other games in its genre. (Crushing tie fighters & the Jedi mind trick are cool though). IDK what else to say...i guess fans of the series could give it a try but then again even they might get disappointed, otherwise like the other reviewers suggest rent b4 you buy or wait until the price drops...DON'T WASTE YOUR $60 ON THIS.!!!

OK, some of us pre-ordered this game to get bonus points and a $10 gift coupon. This is the best outcome for purchasing this game. Really!! Defenitly not worth the $60 to buy. This is a renter game all the way. I'm playing the game and I get the feel after about 4 hours or so that it is about to end...I'm thinking no way?! Way! Star Wars you make trekies everywhere proud!

Overall, the game is excellent. It has good transitions from one level to the next and it is progressively difficult as you move through the different levels. I thought it was a bit short because I was able to move through all the levels in a very short time.

Man they really screwed this game up. It's so slame it's laughable at times. It plays like a cheap beta version of the first one. I don't know how the heck they went backwards with the graphics, sound and gameplay?!?!?!?!? Anyway if you haven't played the first one then get that one. This one is garbage.

A fun game, entertaining. However, it is over before you really get into it. And the cinematics are more frequent than the game play. Not worth the 60 dollars you will shell out right now. Wait for it to come down some before you get it. (The first one is down under 30 bucks now).
