The original Star Wars Trilogy is an iconic movie franchise that looks and sounds fantastic on blu-ray. Technically speaking, the blu-rays are 4.5 to 5 stars. Really, my only complaint is director George Lucas' alterations to the original theatrical versions of the film. I'm not against him making altered "Director's Cuts", but please provide the unaltered theatrically released versions as well. There are certain scenes that are so memorized in my mind that when I watch these altered versions, I'm just thinking about how that scene used to be in the original version and wanting to relive that version.

This is the original great Star Wars trilogy set. The bad thing is that this item is now discontinued, and is only available if you purchase all 6 movies together. In my opinion, they should keep them separate. If you're like me, then you enjoy the first three (originals) and not so much the 3 newer ones, then it's nice to be able to only buy the ones you love.

Well it's the best copy we can get. Unfortunately it's Lucas's hacked updated version. Maybe one day we won't have to watch Han stepping on Jabba and the rest of the unneeded special effects. BRING BACK THE ORIGINALS!!!

Its pretty much the same special Edition Trilogy we've had for the past 15 years or so. The biggest change I noticed was adding the stupid "No!" scream for Darth Vader that was present in Episode 3...completely unnecessary IMO. Other than that, the blu-ray transfer looked great.

It's Star Wars in a complete package brought to full glory. Nothing's compressed, it's format is fantastic and it's just plain ol' awesome. I just seriously hate Lucas' constant changes, but his idiocy shouldn't reflect the genius that is the Wars.

I have always loved Star Wars, at least the originals. The blue ray version is nice. It does have the extended digital scenes that were added later.

Sure it's George Lucas' updated versions with unnecessary changes but its still Star Wars on BluRay and you can't go wrong with that.

Star Wars: Original Trilogy [3 Discs / Blu-ray] A must have for any original trilogy Star Wars fan. All there is to say: Original trilogy in Blu-Ray? Yes please :)

This was a gift for my dad and he really enjoyed the films. It still has wack graphics from the 70s/80s but it looks so much better on blu-ray according to him.

The original 3 on blu-ray box set. A must have for a any movie collection, even if you are not a Star Wars fan, you must have this to complete your collection.

I remember watching this when I was younger and how scary Darth Vader was! He is definitely still a remarkable character today!

Blu-ray quality is great. I have watched A New Hope and Empire a bazillion times and will watch then a bazillion more.

The blu-ray version is well done with great resolution and incredible audio. This enhanced the great classic trilogy.

Filmmaker George Lucas brougt Star Wars to the big screen, now we are able to watch it on Bluray. A great experience
