This movie is best watched in the available 4K. I wish it was in 3-D. The movie rapped it series up wonderfully.

Despite all the negative reviews, I actually enjoyed this movie a lot. Looks and sounds great, fun movie to watch.

The Rise of Skywalker is the final movie--or so we're told--in the Star Wars series, which began in 1977 with Star Wars: A New Hope. No spoilers here, but it wraps up some loose ends in a spectacular way. You have to have seen its predecessors for it to make sense, and who hasn't done that? Although it claims to be the very, very, cross-my-heart-and-hope-to-die END of the Star Wars movies, there's too much cash left on the table for that, so I would not be surprised to see another variation on the Star Wars theme. If not, it's still a good movie and a must-see for Star Wars fans.

If you are a Star Wars geek then you just have to have all the films no matter what. My go to source is Best Buy

This is a great movie to collect; even better in 4K. The bonus disk provides an excellent collection of information and stories. I pre-ordered this disk for store pick-up. By the time it arrived, the store along with most of us were in lock-down due to coronavirus. The pick-up process curb side was easy and efficient. They handed the movie through my car door in a matter of minutes. Best Buy should be congratulated on doing a great job in this pandemic situation.

Love having the blu rays over the digital streaming versions. Better video quality and sound

Wasn't expecting much of the movie since I didn't care for the previous one but I found I liked the movie. This was my first steelbook purchase and 4k/UHD purchase. I have not played the Blu-ray version so I can't comment on any differences with the 4K/UHD. I did like the quality of the picture and sound though. The steelbook is a nice way to collect discs. It should protect them quite well and it looks nice. I don't plan to buy all movies in steelbooks though as the price is of course slightly more. But I have since purchased a few others.

Great image and sound quality. Cool cover on case. The movie is a 3/5 for me but that's another story.

4K UHD was awesome on the QLED. Noticed some clever writing, some things I liked and some things I learned to live with. Enjoyed more than in the theater.

Confession: I saw the movie four times in the theater. I absolutely loved it. I understand that there are those that did not like this movie. I felt like it tied everything together very nicely. Would I have liked a certain character to live on at the end of the movie? Yes. But it makes the character that much more endearing at the end for the sacrifice that was given. Loved this movie and I appreciated the curbside service that was given when purchased.

Best of the new Star Wars movies on great format. Looks and sounds amazing. Can't go wrong with Blu-ray and 4K.

We really enjoyed this movie! We have all of the Star Wars movies, and this was great to add to the collection.

The Star Wars Saga was getting a little long in the tooth, but The Rise of Skywalker is an appropriate bookend as the 9th film of the series. It mostly follows the story arcs from previous films in a satisfactory manner, and closes them in a manner befitting George Lucas’ visionary science-fiction film series that began way back in 1977. Watch all the other films in chronological order to get the greatest impact from this episode.

Excellent quality and good close to the end of the sequel trilogy. Masterfully created and awe inspiring in 4K.

I was so excited to pick up my special edition copy of this movie. You will have to watch this a few times to catch everything that happens because the pacing tends to be very fast unlike the previous entry TLJ, but it still holds it’s ground as a solid end to the “Skywalker Saga”. I don’t think Disney has ruined it at all, they just began and ended a new story. Some of the decisions didn’t make complete sense, but when did Star Wars.. ever make total sense?

Excellent Movie. It is hard to top the previous Star Wars movies but I believe this one did that exact thing.

Well, everybody doesn't ride off into the sunset. The last trilogy of films in the franchise have taken a dark turn for all the characters from the middle trilogy. One wonders if Lucas had done these films if there wouldn't have been such dire fates. But the story is good and while some character development seems to have gotten shortchanged all in all it is a logical ending. Though with a franchise this popular "ending" may not be the appropriate word! :)

Loved that this movie included many original characters from the first three movies in the saga, but we are saddened this was the last of the series. The world could use more character driven stories wherein good can triumph over evil, whether real world or scifi, while the audience marvels over the talent of the individuals who are able to visually bring us to another reality. We are happy to have added this to our collection of blu-ray and SteelBook movies!
