Very glad this package included two discs: a 4K version of the film, and a Blu-Ray version. I tried the 4K version in our PS4, but it did not work (apparently the PS5 will play 4K videos, but not the PS4). So fortunately we were able to enjoy the film as a Blu-Ray, which is still exceptional video and audio quality. The digital copy is a code that you enter, but you have to jump through multiple hoops (install new third party software, input your personal info, etc.) in order to enable. Really hated having to do that.

I know a lot of people complain about this batch of Star Wars films because they don't compare to the originals or they mess with cannon or whatever other thing it is. But I very much enjoyed these stories and the way this one wraps up the previous two movies is a nice payoff.
The 4K is exceptional and I'm glad a made the purchase what with all the special effects and whatnot.

Had to watch this as we have seen all the other movies, can’t afford to keep upgrading movies to the latest format. Seen movies on Laser Disk, Cable, VHS, DVD, Blu-Ray, etc. At least I got to see the last installment in 4K with great picture/sound. We enjoyed the movie and all the effects, great picture and sound and with the 4K digital copy.

Got this for $10. Excellent Deal. Not as good as The Force Awakens, but better than The Last Jedi.

Watching from this from the 4K UHD Blu-ray is much better than streaming. The bit rate is better than you'll get via the internet. That means you'll see even better quality and detail in the picture. If you're a fan of Star Wars, this is a must buy. (Plus buying the movies separately is cheaper than the box set!)

This review is just about the value of purchasing the 4k version, if you already like the film enough to want to own it. It's totally worth it. Some 4k versions of films I like are not that much better than Blu-ray, but others really stand out with startlingly crisp and beautiful images. This is one of those.

4K was excellent. Sound and video quality added to the overall enjoyment. The extra features were okay, would’ve preferred deleted scenes (even if JJ is not a fan of them). As for the movie, it’s not the best Star Wars movie, but it’s definitely not the worst (btw, I enjoy all SW movies, some more than others).

Great ending to the saga. I did feel it was a partial remake of Return of the Jedi, except on steroids. In the Star Wars tradition, it had plenty of action. This one did lay the final blow to the empire. Great movie, great effects, and the Jedi did prevail.

Like many, I have mixed feelings about the newest Star Wars trilogy. Daisy Ridley and the rest of the cast do their best, but the plot and script are lacking. To me, nowhere is the George Lucas narrative lost more than in The Last Jedi and this latest entry, The Rise Of Skywalker.
Without spoiling anything, it just feels like the characters here make a lot of off-the-wall choices and the plot suffers; it almost seems like the script was written by an AI. Convoluted, rushed, and desperate are words that come to mind (they should've left J.J. Abrams in charge of the whole trilogy, he's just relegated to damage control here). It tries too hard to appeal to every demographic instead of weaving a solid story.
Visually, I can't argue that The Rise Of Skywalker has plenty of fireworks. Sci-fi fans will want to add this one to their collection just for the visual flair and because it's Star Wars, but I know the writers can do better than this. If The Mandalorian series is any indication, perhaps there is yet hope for the franchise.

This movie gave my sub woofers a major workout. The 4k picture was ultra crisp. The red on Kylo Ren's light saber was very vivid with HDR.
My sub woofers had a major workout. During the flight scenes, you could hear the ships flying overhead in Atmos.
The story line is ok, could have been better, but i recommend this disk to anyone who wants to demo their home theater.

I know everyone has an opinion. Mine is that I love most everything about this final movie in the saga. I only wish they would release an extended or Directors cut. The biggest downfall, like many movies, is that it's hard to fit complex stories in short amounts of time.

Of all the new Star Wars features I like this one the best. The new darth Vader character is my favorite of all he does a great job. It’s a longer movie effects are stunning. 4K is much better for sound and overall picture too.

If you are a Star Wars fan this was ok. It seemed to loose some of the Star Wars magic and relied primarily on computer graphics. I don't know if it ended the saga the way I had hoped... When I saw it in the theaters I left feeling... uh.. it was ok...
The 4k has great picture and sound and you will not be disappointed with that.

My favorite movie of the 3 sequels by far! I love the intensity and dark mood of this! It gives it that “all or nothing” ambience you expect from a series at its end. You will feel dread and excitement and love and sadness. Plus 4K makes everything better!!!

I was surprised usually this many star war, movies or any movies the more they make the worse it gets, but this one was excellent. I suggest everyone watch this or buy this.

I've loved this series since it's beginning, and this final episode did not disappoint me. Last year we purchased both a television and a DVD player that were 4K, and the video is just amazing. This particular set included both a 4K version, a Blu-ray version, and a digital.
The story itself was interesting, and tied up a lot of loose ends. I don't want to give anything away, but I really enjoyed seeing some of the performers who showed up, even for a short scene, After watching it, I was inspired to schedule a Star Wars binge in the very near future.
I want to add that this purchase was made during the COVID-19 lock down, and Best Buy wasn't on the "essential", list, so we had to use their curbside pickup. It worked wonderfully. The process was quick and easy. It only took about five minutes. So, on this one, I'm a happy camper.

Great finale for the Star Wars franchise. I grew up watching these movies and they never get old. A must have for any true Star Wars fan. We just purchased all of the Star Wars Movies in Ultra 4K because they deserve the Ultra 4K treatment!!!

Look, it’s by no means the best Star Wars films. Hell, it’s the least of the sequel trilogy. But considering every possible progression from the starting point of “Palpatine lives!” it’s the best possible film that could have been made from that premise. And in this 4K transfer, it looks absolutely gorgeous.

Great movie, great franchise. The 4k version is the only way to go if you've invested in a home theatre with big screen and full range speakers. The movie really shines in this format.

I'm going to have to enjoy Star Wars the same way I enjoy other brainless movies now. Lot's of fast paced action, but there are major plot problems from movie to movie in this trilogy, and these newer movies cause all kinds of lore problems in the overall universe. Fun, but can't rate it 5-star.
