Great movie to finish out the next series. Great 4k picture and surround sound quality.

The 4K picture is amazing. Much better picture than the blu-ray.

Huge fan of all the Star Wars movies (the first 3 are so-so) and wanted to experience the new shows in 4k HDR. Absolutely amazing show and in 4k it's stellar. I have streamed these in 4k before, but watching on physical disc just provides a better image and sound quality.

The 4K picture and rich sound felt like being in a theater surrounded by fans, eating popcorn.

We got this TV for the kids "playroom". The price was right and figured I'd try TCL for the first time. Very glad I did. I have more supposedly high end brands in the living and bedroom.... In many ways I like this TV better. From set-up to menu and ease of use to picture quality.... If this is a lesser brand so be it. This was perfect for our needs at a great price. Only had for a few weeks but so far so good!

I watched the first Stars Wars move 14 times in 1977. I am happy to have lived long enough to have seen all of the franchises movies. This last one does not disappoint. A little slow in the beginning, this action packed thriller will have you continuously sitting on the edge of your seat by the time realize who is back on the seen and can the resistance actually be defeated? I had to add this one to my collection.

Another great adventure and awesome 4K transfer. Audio sounds awesome with atmos

I am a fan of Star Wars. I have been for 40 or so years of my life. I never confused Star Wars with the high cinema elitist art. I have always considered it to be a fun adventure with great effects, locations, iconic wild characters, and a story that is easy to follow. Those who say that these recent films ruined their childhood or whatever are trying to make it more sacrosanct than it was ever intended. This movie is faced pace and blows out the special effect left and right. Just sit back and enjoy.

The 4k bluray of the Rise of Skywalker has excellent picture quality (I have not watched the regular bluray version of the movie). The colors are vibrant and details look very sharp. I watched this the 4k disc on a LG B8 series OLED using a Sony 4K bluray player. I did not have the equipment to really fairly form an opinion about the sound quality. However I thought that the picture was theater quality.

Love it an addition to our collection of Star Wars movies.

Make no mistake, Rise Of Skywalker is a blast. Is it perfect? No. Is any Star Wars film perfect? Nope- with the possible exception of Empire- but they are fun. The only expectation I have when seeing a SW film is to be entertained, and ROS delivered. As an aside, let me just say, if you are one of those “fans” who finds himself enraged at these new films, tweeting nasty things at the cast and raging on social media about how your favorite pet fan theory wasn’t addressed, or because there are too many women and people of color in the new films, or that Rey doesn’t smile enough, or that the prequels are, in fact, great movies and the new ones are awful, then I have news for you. Are you ready? You don’t like Star Wars. You’re stuck on films from 40 years ago, and you can’t accept that times have changed. Maybe you prefer a time when your movie heroes all looked like you. Maybe you like the old films because of the nostalgia they fill you with for a time that seems simpler in your memory than it really was. Someone once said, “Let the past die- kill it, if you have to.” Wise words, whatever the source. Maybe you dislike how Disney recycles plot points from the previous films and you just prefer the daring and original ideas behind Star Wars legends books, where they cloned Palpatine and Luke became a Sith Lord until he was redeemed by his son, Ben Skywalker. Oh wait- Star Wars has been recycling plots for decades, almost as if it was inspired by the cyclical myths explained by Joseph Campbell in his book, “The Hero’s Journey.” At any rate, you are now free to move on to another piece of intellectual property to “love”. How about Star Trek? It’s not like Star Trek embraces gender and ethnic diversity while championing a utopian future where everyone is valued equally... oh, wait. Guess you’re outta luck. Anyway, to everyone else- Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker is a lot of fun, and a fitting conclusion to the new trilogy and the Skywalker Saga as a whole. I can’t wait to see what in store for the next movie!

The 4k quality is there. Super sharp and there is a noticeable difference in the digital copy and the physical disc as far as quality is concerned. It does have Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos function on the physical disc. Some are reporting no Dolby Vision but my copy includes it. The quality is a much better than the first 6 episodes of Star Wars 4K UHD

Awesome! It’s an amazing movie and the 4K is worth it

What can you say about Star Wars movies? It's taken us many, many years to get to this point. Was it worth it? Probably! In spite of some reviewers, this was a fitting end of this saga. This ties things up for all of us. We were a lot younger when this all started so it's good to see it come to a logical conclusion. This presentation is great to view. It's great in 4K. Highly recommended.

This was a great movie. We really enjoyed. Picture and sound was awesome in Ultra 4K.
