Even if Jar-Jar is a disaster, there are still enough redeeming moments in Eps 1-3 to make it worth a watch and re-watch.

At least the prequels didn't completely butcher star wars lore. Sure you have to endure Jar-Jar binks and horrible acting from Anakin. Darth Maul, Obi-Wan, Yoda, Jango & Boba Fett make the prequels palatable and decent.

This version has all the latest added footage to improve the storyline as well as commentary options by the director and actors.

This was the first time I watch 1-2-3 Star Wars..I was blown away. Now I understand why Star Wars is and was an American Icon.

Our family loves the star war movies we already had 4, 5, 6, needed 1-3 so our children could watch them!! We all enjoyed them!

These should be included for free when you buy the original 3 on DVD/BluRay - because face it, these movies are terrible. Now you can relieve all the terrible dialog and contrived plot of the prequels in the privacy of your own home in ultra high definition BluRay glory. But you know it is kind of like the Matrix. You've got to have all 3 to have the complete set, even if the last two movies destroy the 1st. Same thing goes here, you've got to have the prequels. I look at it this way, watching these makes you really appreciate how incredible the original trilogy was. It is kind of like having a freezer burned hamburger patty so you can enjoy a real choice cut of steak, later.

This is a great movie trilogy for anyone interested in starting a a collection of stars that dont like each other very much.
