Purchased as my 7 yr old grandson has spontaneously combusted into the stereotypical Star Wars fanatic. These movies are definitely the worst of a cherished series but they do contribute to the overall cinematic experience.

With #7 coming out later this year, I had to get 1-3 for my sons to experience the full saga. Episode 1 is still terrible. And so is Hayden. But...you have to watch the entirety.

Episode 2 is honestly worse than episode 1, I just want to get that out of the way. The only reason this collection is worth buying is the fact that it's cheaper to buy these as a pack than it is to buy them all individually.

So bluray quality is very good- but the problem is the CG quality isn't- painfully so at times- CG images look like stickers. I don't need to go into details hopefully on everyone's thoughts on the prequels and JarJar binks...

The further adventures of the Jedi knights. Or the history of the sith? Great story about the prophesied chosen one nearly ruined by one clumsy gunGan. Really only saved by strong performances by the Scotsman and Ms. Portman.

The movies were not the best compared to the original trilogy. The blu ray discs are missing a lot of extras and it annoying they didn't include a free digital copy, like the majority of movies do these days.

When I bought this Blu-ray set, it looked good from the outside. As soon as I got home a piece of the case was broken off. I would of taken it back, but the Blu-ray Disc looked fine.

The audio is fantastic however, the video is not what it could be. Its like they attempted to make TPM look better but failed. I would wait for a different release perhaps.

I am a huge Star Wars originals fan. With The Force Awakens coming out I wanted to give the prequels another chance. They still don't live up to the originals, but Ewan McGregor is great.

Movies are okay. Packaging is okay. When I purchased it was cheaper to buy the two trilogies than the complete saga. Decided to buy this after not liking the designs of the steelbooks

Episodes 1 to 3 may not be as great as the 1st trilogy but still satisfying to watch for any star wars fan. I definitely recommend it!

It's the "First Three" episodes in the Star Wars series. While not the most epic episodes in the series, it is still a good way to get a single case for three movies.

Not a prequel fan. Jar Jar and I are not on speaking terms. However, with 7&8 out, the kids wanted to see 1, 2 and 3. At least the box cover is cool.

This is a great deal to get both the blu-ray and DVD, but don't let your friends know. Everyone will want to borrow it. Tell them to go out and buy their own! BA-HUMBUG!

Haven't seen these 3 movies since they were originally released in the theaters. Action sequences are decent but the dialogue is stilted and boring.

I've never enjoyed these movies as much or the originals but the blu Ray quality makes them visually extraordinary. Would recommend them to some friends.

I bought this for no other reason than to complete my Star Wars collection. The movies themselves while entertaining at times are kind of bad.

I'm not a big Star Wars fan, but my kids are old enough to start getting into them, especially with Ep 7 rolling around. I can't go round with blu-ray.

Being a completionist means that I had to buy this even though it pales in comparison to the original trilogy. It's fine but not the best.
