I needed a Star Wars refresher before going to see VII and so glad I did. Believe it or not, I have the VHS set and was going to watch it, then realized I don't have my VHS player any longer...LOL. The Blu-Ray is so worth getting for picture quality.

Before I took my family to see the latest Star Wars release we binged on the original trilogy. Since many of today's 18-25 year olds' never had the privilege to experience what started it all this set made the connection between generations possible.

If you are a true Star Wars fan, you need to buy both box sets to own all 6 films so you can re-watch them all to be prepared for Episode 7 release in December!!! Crystal clear picture and great sound quality. A must have for movie lovers. Great deal as well

I originally looked at purchasing the Complete series but remembered I had Episodes 1-3 on DVD and decided to just purchase episodes 4-6 on BluRay. The bonus features are great for the avid fan. If you havent seen StarWars you are truly missing out!

These are great to watch over and over again. We watched these along with the other three prior to watching the force awakens. It was great watching these with the kids and seeing them experience Star Wars for the first time. Felt like a kid again!

We bought these so I could get up to speed before the new movie came out ( I had only seen them once before, terrible I know). They are great and it's convenient to have 3 movies in one case.

You can't go wrong walked in Star Wars this way. It's everything you would expect from a movie and more considering the year it was made. The quality and sound are fantastic. I just wish they didn't have any of that extra stuff during certain scenes

I bought the original trilogy because the first three movies are the true Star Wars films. The last three are pure junk. Good price and good picture. The extras aren't much...just picture commentary which I'm not into. It was a worthwhile purchase.

As any Star Wars Fan knows, episodes 4-5-6 are the Best of the whole Series, and now on BluRay they look awesome. I have bought so many copies of these 3 over the years, I am Glad to say I hope and Believe these will be the last ones I need...

I have been an avid Star Wars fan since I was 6. I bought this set for my nephew, now 7 in the hopes that he will also become a big fan. I am told he has watched all 3 about 3 times each since Christmas.

I prefer the theatrical version over the too-long directors cut and other special editions. Looks better than it did in theaters when viewed on my LG OLED TV and I could watch the trilogy again and again, and probably will!

I actually got this price matched on Amazon for like 10 bucks cheaper. It's an amazing set and any Star Wars fan should get it. I admit the hard steel bookcases look better when you buy them separately but it also costs more. To each their own

I did see these movies when I was much younger and wanted to watch all of the movies on DVD in order. This purchase and the set of the Episodes I-III fit the bill. We had a Star Wars marathon weekend to get all caught up.

The only thing better than watching Star Wars in high definition would be able to see it in 4K UHD. If you are a fan then there is no reason not to upgrade to this version and also get episodes 1-3, so you can watch them all before the new release.

These are actually the first three Star Wars films (beginning in the 70's), re-numbered at a later time to sync with the series going back in time to do back stories on Darth Vader etc. When I got my son into the series we watched these first.

Great movies but they arrived in not new condition twice. The first set came with a broken case and marks on all of the discs. I returned that set and the second set had a good case but the discs have tiny scratches on them. I have never really had issues with discs arriving in a condition that isn't new until ordering these Star Wars sets. Very unacceptable for movies to arrive in this condition when ordered new.

I'm glad they split up the first three episodes and the last three episodes, in addition to being able to buy all of them together. Already had Episode I and II so didn't want to buy repeats, and this gives all the best episodes in one pack!

Well it all started a long time ago I was born 1977 when the new hope came out I grew up on star wars and to see they still going for my kids, I got the whole set love for a tha best ever deal. Best Buy tha BEST EVER.( B.B.B.E.)

Not too much to say except that the best of the series gets even better with the blu-ray conversion. I had the non-blu-ray version and there is a huge difference and lots of special features in the new version. Great price at BestBuy, too.

This is a must for your movie library! I wasn't as big of a fan of Episodes 1-3 (the later films), so I only wanted the original trilogy Episodes 4-6. Perfect bundle! Makes it easy to share with friends/family that haven't seen it before.
