This set was a fantastic deal, it came with blu-ray and dvd for each film. It was smarter to buy this than the entire combo pack which only offered blu-ray and was more expensive. These movies were great for a first time Star Wars viewer.

With new SW movies coming out it was good to have the option of having 1-3 and 4-6 in different sets. This makes my OCD of putting them on the shelf easier. These being my favorite they get one more star though...

This is my third set of these movies, VHS, Wide Screen DVDs and now Blue Ray. The picture quality is excellent but I'm sad to say, the characters and the movie are getting dated, nothing can be done about that. Worth the price though.

I haven't watched the Star Wars movies in quite a while and just bought a Blue Ray player thinking this would be a great move to see in Blue Ray. Didn't notice any amazing difference being in Blue Ray but nonetheless the move is worth owning.

This really doesn't need a review if you have lived on this planet for at least the past 10 years (probably even less). Best deal going since you get the Blu-Ray and DVD versions - one to keep and one to give to Grandpa. BUY IT.

Star Wars to watch with my little boys. the only issue is that this has been altered by Lucas with extra, not in the original footage. Not exactly what I saw at the movies when I was 7 in 1977.

Prior to purchasing I hadn't watched the original trilogy in years. Glad I picked this up. Couldn't help but smile throughout all three movies. Fantastic films, epic story. Watched right before the new movie came out. Highly recommended.

I went to all the Star Wars movies multiple times starting back in 1977. Started out with the VHS tapes, then the DVD's, and now that I have a really good home theater bought the blu-ray edition - excellent in HD. Highly recommended.

Replaced VCR versions of the first three Star War movies that were in theaters. Original VCR tapes were deteriorating. Good to have better quality editions of these movies which are superior than the original VCR tapes were.

Classic movies had them on DVDs which I gave to my grandsons and just recently found out I had 3 other grandchildren who had never seen any of the movies so I purchased them on blu-ray and the picture and sound quality is so much better

The original trilogy on blu-ray. These are the remastered copies, so they do have some additional scenes compared to the original movies. Are all the additional scenes necessary< Not really, but the three movies are still excellent.

Bought this as a gift for my wife so she could watch the complete series before going to see the new Star Wars movie. These are remastered, so they are not the original releases and have some slight differences in certain characters.

My wife and i just re-watched these for the first time in years and had a blast! The quality of this product itself was great. The package is cool, and all discs have worked completely fine. Highly recommended for any Star Wars fan.

I was very happy to find this 3 disc set of Star Wars movies available for immediate delivery with Best Buy. The online buying experience was easy and fast plus delivery happened even sooner than expected. Great experience!

This is a blu-ray pack of the original Star Wars Trilogy or Episodes 4-6. This is not the original theatrical releases but they updated versions completed in the 90's. Still love seeing them and the remastered coloring is beautiful.

Amazing Set only bad thing is all three movies are in the same holder. So if you want the bottom did you have to take off two movies to get there but other then that come on it's the original movies and they are at an amazing price.

What a joy to watch my grandsons expression watching this classic Star Wars Trilogy set! It brought me back to when my children watched it for the first time! Clarity and picture grade is phenomenal ! Great buy!

Don;t even bother with the first three if you are a purist. In fact, being a purist Star Wars fan, I was disappointed in all the 'additions' to the original trilogy that were completely unnecessary and in my opinion, completely out of place. The extra CGI felt forced and did not fit with the soul of the movie. I wish there was a Blu-Ray set that kept the original trilogy in its original form. In any event, this is a trilogy that you simply need to watch over and over.

Finally broke down and bought this on a deal-of-the-day. I replaced my old VHS version, which was basically worn out. If you're a purist, you probably won't like the new enhanced version, but otherwise, it's great.

Until George Lucas offers the original versions that haven't been "remastered" with special effects, these movies will never reach their potential. That said, they are much better than the Prequels in nearly every way.
