The quality of watching the movies is great. I really enjoy watching the movies on Blu Ray and enjoy all of the extra features. You can;t go wrong with the original Trilogy and a great way to connect to the The Force Awakens.

I love the Star Wars trilogy IV, V, and VI. I had the VHS growing up and was happy to finally get the original ones on DVD and Blu-Ray. I do not have Blu-Ray yet, but am glad I have the discs for when I do. I will have to get the prequels next.

Let's face it, Star Wars is amazing! And nothing beats the original Star Wars trilogy on beautiful Blu-Ray!! These are the special edition versions which have some of those extra CGI effects and scenes added, which really don't enhance anything at all, but luckily, they're mostly few and far between. What remains is one of the best movie trilogies in history! If you can nab this at a sale price, definitely pick it up to add to your collection. Forget the prequels.

The Star Wars films are timeless, however, my old DVDs were starting to show their age. Having the trilogy in blu-ray really makes a difference while watching, and I would recommend this to any Star Wars fan.

Nothing could beat these 3 stories. Had the classic shocker in Episode 5. Would have liked to see Luke have some Yoda like powers to hold off the emperor in the battle at the end. Other than that all are great.

The Blu Rays of Star Wars are like watching the original trilogy for the first time again. I've seen each of these films hundreds of times and now am noticing new details that I'd never seen before. Only downside are the Lucas edits...

No household is complete without Star Wars. This is a great set for episodes IV - VI. I never watch the "extras" on a dvd/Blu-ray so this set fit my needs. I saw no reason to pay the extra money for something I'll never watch.

With the new Star Wars trilogy now beginning it was great to have these movies and share with my kids who have never understood my obsession in these films! We pulled an all nighter and watched them all! Blu Ray was excellent!

I had been wanting to get the classics on did for a while. There are many variations available for purchase. I didn't care about the newer movies, just the classics so this was the best option for me. I am very happy I bought it.

Not sure what value rating the original three Star Wars brings, if you've seen the movies you don't need to read reviews. I will say that I was impressed with the picture and sound upgrades that the blue-ray versions provided.

I was happy to be able to purchase these three Star-Wars movies together in blu-ray format while not having to break the bank on the fancy designer case series. Still a quality box and each movie comes in its own blu-ray case.

I have to met that I have not watched all the Star Wars movies. I had been hearing so many good things about this movie and I decided it was time to see it. It took me back to the first movie in the 70s. I enjoyed it a lot.

The first three films (by order of theatrical release, not story line) were the best. No need to review the plots, we all know them by heart. The Bluray quality is very good, it's just about impossible to find a poorly done disc anymore. One star was deducted for the minor tinkering Lucas has done with a few scenes and the fact that the Ewoks are only slightly less annoying than Jar Jar Binks in the fourth and worst film in the entire series.

Nostalgia time people, Star Wars was cutting edge in the 70s and it was great to see it again. Glad BB had the full set. We had plenty of popcorn and did a marathon of all episodes. BluRay DVD looked better than the original.

Having just recently watched the Star Wars franchise for the first time, I jumped at the opportunity to add the entire collection on Blu-Ray when on sale online. If you've seen the films before you'll love them on a beautiful big screen.

I watched these movies in the theatres when I was in middle and high school. These editions have the special treatment which cleaned up some of the light saber scenes, flaws in some special efx, and some added scenes. I prefer the original movies which were raw and ahead of their time with their special efx. It still is great to watch and hear on updated TV screens and better audio equipment. I would recommend anyone at any age level to watch these movies!

This edition is remastered and very high quality picture and sound. I waited to buy this for a while and am happy to have finally taken the plunge, as this version is far superior to the low-def you see on tv.

Both DVD and BD. My small children have access to the DVDs, BDs are being held for a few years. These are not the "original" - the have newer edits. I'm not a hyper-purist, so not a problem. Watch for May the 4th deals!!

I bought this DVD set for my fiancee that only includes Episodes 4-6 since he insists on denying that the first 3 episodes exist. In any case, the blu-ray video quality is amazing and definitely worth purchasing these DVDs!

Great price for the original trilogy. I wanted to watch these movies again before "The Force Awakens" came out, and this was the best price I found. Having the blu-ray and dvd was great, we share the dvd's with my daughter.
