My friend and I love Star Wars, but his wife had not seen it yet. So I bought this for them for Christmas to get a start to the series. The quality is great and the extras are wonderful for diving into the fandom.

I was not looking to purchase movies, but I couldn't resist after noticing the Star Wars sets available on Blue Ray. The original on blue ray!!! The movies looked so good!!! I highly recommend purchasing this blue ray set!

I remembered why I loved Star Wars when I was watching these. So cool! The Blu-ray is fantastic. I won't comment on the special features since I didn't watch them but I bet they are great, there appeared to be quite a bit.

Seriously who doesn’t love some old school graphics!!! Of course we all do :-) it’s fun to see how far we’ve come but that even the newer movies still keep the same ideas of the “original” Star Wars movies

Wanting to get the first Star Wears movies to share with my son this was the perfect purchase...I didn't want to buy the whole box set, especially with the new film released...so this allows me to by half now, half later.

The movies of course speak for themselves. Finding them, in stock and ready, in and out of the store quickly, that's what made this purchase one worthy of Best Buy! I do as much of my electronics shopping there as I can!

One of the best space movies, great special effects, great story line and character building. Love the wide screen, etc, etc, etc,etc, etc.etc.etc.etc, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc

My youngest had not seen the original movie, and needed some back ground before seeing the newest release in theatres - this trilogy provided the best background info of the major characters, and of course are classics.

I bought this trilogy set because it was time to replace the original VHS tapes we owned of these movies. I was pleasantly surprised that the new versions I got were the extended directors cuts. YAY! more Star Wars to view.

I was worried this would be a money grab, but the blu ray conversion was extremely well done. If I could get the unedited originals on blu ray, and not have to see Hayden Christiansen, I'd be a happy man. But these will have to do.

Very nice clean up of the films, look god sound good, but are still the altered versions of the film. Some alterations I can live with...I don't mind the additional Wampa shots, I am glad the song "Yub Nub" is no longer at the end of Jedi, and adding "Episode IV A New Hope" to the crawl of Star Wars (77) is fine...the first alteration made to the film series...but the Greedo shooting first, Vader screaming "Noooo!" etc are things I wish were gone.

This set covers Episodes 4 5 & 6 of Star Wars. The original trilogy that started it all since late 1970s. If you are a Star Wars buff or if you want to see what it looks like, check this out! This is totally awesome!

DVD and Blu-Ray packed together is a must have for any Star Wars Fan. Buy both box sets for the entire collection. No digital copy, but a DVD and Blu-ray is perfect.

The only way to experience all that is Star Wars, Full HD on a Blu-Ray. You get extra points from your fellow home theater goers if you have a quality surround sound system. Crank it up, and May The Force Be With You!

Been looking for this trilogy on Blu-Ray for some time and just found them at the best price around. Store was willing to Price Match with an online sale that they were having which made the deal even better.

These are a must have for any Star Wars fan...buy these for someone who is not a Star Wars fan because they haven't seen them, wait a few hours, and than expect a thank you note accompanied by some blue milk.

I have always wanted these movies to have as my own and watch anytime I want. The blue ray versions are great and I like having the DVD versions, as well, for traveling. I'm very happy I purchased these!

Bought the DVD collection to show my wife the original 3 movies. She had never seen them. Uncovered many of the references in episodes 1-3 that she did not understand previously. It was great to totally Geek out.

3 Blu-Ray disks and 3 DVDs for $35! List price was just under $40, but, true to the company word and without hesitation, my local Best Buy matched the lower price on Amazon for the original (and superior) SW trilogy!

I was pleased that the blu ray treatment of the original Star Wars Trilogy was handled so well. The movies are in great shape. I even liked the addition of Darth Vader's cry as he handled the Emporer in Episode 6.
