It is the latest of the Star Wars released and only one on blue ray. Unfortunately all releases have the extras that George Lucas wanted, including this one. Otherwise it's blue ray, high quality!!

We added the original "Star Wars" trilogy and the the movie "Four Christmases" to our DVD collection. Best Buy is generally my "go-to" place for getting DVDs because the selection and price are both good.

This set isn't the original theatrical version, but, not being a Star Wars junkie, I couldn't tell the difference. I love the DVD/Blu-ray combo. The DVDs are for the car and the blu-ray is for home.

I have always loved Star Wars and had seen each one in the theater first, the best way, but seeing on Blue Ray is exciting, Thanks to my dear wife, I received this complete set. Excellent!

Definitely a must watch. These films are timeless and everyone should see them. They are indeed better than I - III, so I recommend picking up I - III first as it will just continue to get better.

episodes- a new hope,the empire strikes back, and return of the jedi has all the excitement of the rebel alliance trying to get victory over the empire and succeed to have freedom in the galaxy.

I completed my collection of Star Wars films (until Jedi comes out) on Blue-Ray. Already had the six films on regular DVD. Christmas present to myself since the price was so low.

Do to an oversite, I didn't get this set ordered till the week before Christmas. It still arrived in time, was a great price, and was shipped to me for free. You can't beat that!

Enjoyed these movies as a kid & still do to this day! If I had one complaint about it was the extras they added in when Lucas remastered this with mentions to that set of movies that will remain nameless.

If you haven't seen the originals, and want to see the new one out now, I recommend you watch these DVDs. The quality was amazing, and the storyline was great considering it was over 30 years old!

These eipisodes are not available to stream so I had no choice but to buy them. I've never seen any of the Star Wars episodes so I'm glad I was able to finally find these in store.

This Star Wars series brings back so many memories of going to the movies as a kid! Sit back and watch my favorite characters in action! It has both Blu-ray and standard DVD's.

it's Star Wars! bought this and the other 3 episodes separately since we wanted the less expensive options with less extras and special features than the more spendy box set with all 6 episodes.

i have never watched any of the star wars movies until now. this movie was actually so much better than i expected. definite a must see if you are into the star wars movies

The kids went to see the new star wars and heard me talking about the old ones... So I bought this. Just to catch them up to speed. They loved it.glued to the TV for hours had to pry them away!

My daughter hadn't seen the original Star Wars so I had to buy it for her to watch. We had a terrific movie marathon, and now she is a huge Star Wars lover just like me!!! Awesome family movie.

I am not a Star Wars fan but my husband and son love this. I gave it 5 stars because my opinion of this shouldn't be included in rating it annoying....lol. I am glad they are happy with this :)

We got Star Wars because my 3 year old is obsessed with Star Wars. I have to admit, I have not watched it in years. I am enjoying them all over again. I recommend them to everyone!

I searched around for the best price and BestBuy beat them all. Hubby and I are big time Star Wars fans and had to get them on blu ray. The set comes with DVD copies as well which is an awesome bonus!

This is a small set of Episodes 4, 5, and 6 (the original trilogy). All six discs are present (3 DVDs and 3 Blu-rays) in a case that is about the size of one regular case covered in a cardboard sleeve. First disc in the set is behind the flyer that is included. If you just want the movies and aren't picky, this is a great buy. If you're looking for a collector's edition, look elsewhere.
