The blu-ray versions give an all new experience! Next to the Complete Star Wars Saga, this is the next best thing! The only thing missing is the extra 45 hours if your a die hard Star Wars fan. If you're not worried about that, get this collection!

Good price on movies, have enjoyed watching them. Best Busy was only store we had looked in that had movies available, so we are glad we were near by and could stop by and find movies available, my grandson was so excited because he had been disappointed that none of the other stores we looked at had the movies in store.

Yes, I'm annoyed with a lot of the additions George Lucas made to the films in these "upgraded" versions. But with that said, these Blu-Rays are excellent quality, and the audio is just amazing. I've never heard the movies sound this good - with a quality sound system, you'll be completely blown away. A+ for that.

There's really no review one could give to the Star Wars Episodes Collection, which could explain how amazing it is! The upscale along with video/audio quality are fantastic! If you are looking to replace old VHS tapes or add to your DVD/Blu-Ray collection, pick this up! Watch these three before watching episode 7

I know plenty of people complain about Darth Vador shouting Noooo at end of ROTJ but I always thought it was a bit strange he didn't say anything in that moment. I really like it and think it fits. It's a great expeience to watch these movies in blu ray. ROTJ is very colorful and excellent pic that might make it my favorite now.

I'm not sure what more could be said about the original trilogy, but if you are new to Star Wars, these first three movies are the best of the best. The middle three episodes I, II,II,) not so much. But if you are just now watching the newest movies, you just have to see the original.

If you are a Stars Wars Fan like I am then this set is a must have to your collection. The movies are crisp and clean and well worth the price to have in anyone's collection. I got both sets at 30 dollars and saved about 45% of the regular price. Trust me if you are a fan grab it when you can

How can you not give this series 5 stars! Episode lV is my favorite along with V. Now I can rewatch anytime I choose too! I've shared it with many people who have never seen Star Wars "Yes I know, how can you not have seen Star Wars at one point or another". Buy this series, you will not be disappointed!

Before this purchase, the only experience I had with Star Wars was Episode III, when it came out during my childhood. I still can't recall most of it, but I'm inspired to begin that trilogy of movies once I finish watching this trilogy. Episodes IV and V were great! A definite buy for any Star Wars fan.

Ok I understand these movies are the special editions & I am ok with still buying these versions. Star Wars is just a movie one has to have in their collection. As I have said in my other reviews any true fan of Star Wars doesn't need a silly review to help them decide if they want to purchase.

The movies that shaped my childhood, the first one debuted in 1977, but it still had great cinematography, storyline, and action. The subsequent pictures got better with each film. I remember standing in line for over an hour to see Return of the Jedi. Great times... Blue Ray is crystal clear.

To think it has been 30 years and these films still look and sound phenomenal! Not only are these some of the greatest science fiction films of all time but they will probably be the films you will go to when you want to show off your shiny new television and surround sound system! Highly recommended!

This is a great movie package. It's a good way to get back up to speed on the trials and tribulations of our Rebel buddies and their Arch enemies. It blends into the new Star Wars movie and aids in the question of "Rey...Who is your Father?" Blue Ray might even make this better than the original.

This trilogy is the classic Star Wars that I saw as a young man and remember fondly. I hadn't seen them in many years and my wife had never seen them so I thought I would expose her to them. This set is perfect for that as it shows the original movies with great clarity. A great buy for anyone.

Loved this movie since I was a kid. Was hesitant to buy it but made the jump so that I don't have to wait for some Star Wars festival to watch the movie! Great movie back in the 70's and 80's...and still a great movie! Brings the kid out in me!

Ok, so off the bat this is the Lucas super "enhanced" version, so to all the Star Wars purists don't waste your time. However I bought this for my nephews to watch and they loved it. For a generation that grew up with CG it made them really enjoy the original trilogy, so mission accomplished.

The Original Trilogy of Star Wars will be forever remembered in the history of cinema. What I love about this set is that it comes equipped with both blu ray and dvd copies of all 3 episodes (4-6). I also love that it doesn't contain the prequels, as I like to think those were never made.

It's Star Wars... the Original Trilogy... need I say more? It's awesome. It's my favorite movie saga of all time. True, this is the altered Special Editions and not the version I grew up on but the quality is superb and I honestly like most of the changes... except Hayden... I loathe Hayden.

I bought this to watch with my kids and my husband who all have never seen the original trilogy. Was great to get the blu-ray & dvds all in one package. The quality (picture and sound) was great. We watched an episode each weekend until we finished it. So thankful Best Buy had it in stock!

I bought this movie collection to introduce my son to Star Wars since my standard DVD is heavily scratched. Watching his face throughout the movie was the thank you I could have ever received. Shortly after the movie we played Jedi Knights for a few hours. Great movie that I get to enjoy with my son!
