For someone who doesn't know it is arguably one of the best real-time strategy games out there. This DLC gives you a decent new story arc in campaign and a couple new units to use in multiplayer.

Campaign is top quality.

Best franchise ever

The game varies from the earleir SC2 by giving you control of Kerrigan who is strong with varied abilities(which you can choose between ever map if you want). Online is basically another game in itself. There are tons of maps and some change the game entirely.

Blizzard knows how to deliver

The graphics and the game play are definitely at the top of my list, but the story line is what makes you play one more scenario and before you know it is the next day.
