A very cute, relaxing game where you manage a farm, interact with towns people, and do some exploring. There is also a cave(dungeon) that has simple combat. It is a very well made game, with lots of customization options. If you like farming simulator games, you will probably like this game. I personally found it a little boring after while, because it can be very time consuming. I eventually gave it away.

This is a great game and my son loves animals and farms. Perfect to play together.

My son enjoyed this game since it was similar to Minecraft in a few ways. If you enjoy strategic games then you will enjoy.

Lots and lots of stuff to do in this game some of it is more enjoyable than others but the game has a certain charm to it.

Stardew Valley does a fantastic job of introducing players to simple game mechanics only to flesh them out more fully through a wonderful day by day progression system. There are similarities to Harvest Moon, yes, but this game stands apart as it’s own with various options to spend your time on. Great way to unwind and create your own world.

I play single player game exclusively. Some of my favorites are the Last of Us, Metal Gear Solid 5. Sometimes, I just need to take a break from all the heavy story driven games and just want to relax and do all the mundane things. If you like me and you need some down time, then this game is for you. While it looks simple on the surface, it is quite complex in gameplay. You have to manage your time, energy, relationship, farm, money, etc. There are lots of things to do in the game. This is truly a roleplaying game in every sense of the word. The only problem I have with this game is that it is so time consuming, as you want to do and manage everything. You will not have enough time for other games. Of course, you don't have to play seriously and just play for fun, which is what I'm doing. I use it as a break from all the serious, emotional games I normally play. Definitely worth buying, especially for the $16 price with GCU.

I purchased this game even though I have it on Steam. This complete collectors edition provides some additions that the version on steam did not have. Very fun and great controls on the PS4.

Man I just didn't get the hype from looking at it but once I started playing I couldn't stop. Great music, fun storyline, perfect atmosphere and just that indefinable thing that makes a game great are all here. You'll be saying, "just one more day" every night when getting to put this one down.

fun game with a lot of hours to sink in if you have some time to kill

This is a mashup game that is best described as kind of a Harvest Moon hybrid with Animal Crossing and part dating sim. There is even some simplistic combat. This is a type of game that you can potentially sink hours upon hours into and it has ridiculous replay value.

I got this for my 9 year old daughter and just loves this game. She can't wait to play it each weekend. It has lots of fun interactions and levels.

Stardew Valley is an excellent game. It's one of the most heart-warming games I've ever played. It was developed by one person over the course of 4 years and it's amazing how much detail he put into it. The core game is a farming simulator where you are trying to reinvigorate your Grandfather's old farm along the way you interact with the townsfolk, go mining in a cave (and battle monsters), and much more. This collector's edition comes with a nice map and soundtrack. I prefer having physical games over digital so I was happy to see this come along.

Stardew valley is a charming retro look game about starting a new life in a new farm. There really isn't a real goal to the game besides designing your very own farm and doing everyday task with sprinkled missions here and there. A must for any fan of the Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing fans.

I have logger over 200hrs in this game and even bought copies for friends to play. It is a suprisingly deep game with tons of play value. Farm crops, raise animals, explore randomly generated dungeon like areas and battle monsters. This game does it all. In total I have bought 5 copies on 3 different platforms. My wife even enjoys this game. For this particular platform the controls are not as easy as a keybord and a mouse but easy to adjust to.
