Y’know, I didn’t think I’d like the game when it first came out. A friend HOUNDED me saying I needed to try it and now I’ve been playing it for two weeks straight. It’s a pretty relaxed game, I’ve enjoyed hours of playing it!

My wife and I have sunk hundreds of hours into Stardew Valley digitally over the years and we've beaten it multiple times together, building farms, romancing villagers, and exploring the mines. When we saw the physical copy, we had to grab it for the collection. It runs perfectly on both our original Switch and the new Switch 2 with no glitches, smooth performance, and the portability is great for couch co-op sessions after the kids are in bed. The story pulls you in with its relaxing vibe, deep progression, and all the little surprises like festivals or cave adventures. Raising animals, fishing, cooking. It's super addicting in the best way, and the customization keeps it fresh every playthrough. If you're into chill farming sims with heart, this is a must-own physical edition. Still loving it after all these years.

I bought this game because I thought it would be a great game for me and my wife to play...and I was right! It offers split-screen which is very handy, but you do need 2 full controllers to play this game split-screen on the Switch. That means you need at least 4 Joy-Cons or 2 Joy-Cons and a Pro Controller for the Switch. This game has a ton to do and is very enjoyable for me and my wife who hasn't hardly played any video games in her lifetime. The cheapest version of this game I found was here at Best Buy, as well. Highly recommend!

I've not progressed too far as of yet, but that's not for a lack of trying as Stardew Valley has so much to do, packed with so much content it is well worth the price.
Stardew Valley is an amazing indie game that stands out in a market dominated by soulless entertainment or predatory micro-transactions; made by a developer that cares about making something with heart and human hands - Stardew Valley is well worth the time and money.

I absolutely love playing Stardew Valley! The game is charming, relaxing, and incredibly satisfying. Building up my farm, making friends with the townsfolk, and exploring the mines all feel rewarding. The pixel art is beautiful, and the music really sets the cozy mood. It’s easy to get lost in the peaceful routine and sense of progress. Overall, Stardew Valley brings me so much joy and is one of the best gaming experiences I’ve had.

I gifted this to my friend's kid. I absolutely enjoy this game. I knew she would too. I wasn't into farming games and didn't play it for very long. Then I started playing one on my cell much later and absolutely loved it. That's when I decided to give this game a real try. I've been hooked ever since. There's so much you can do. Keep it simple or go big. There are lots of ideas online especially on YouTube.

Stardew Valley is by far the best Farm Simulator I had played. At the beginning I was not impress with the graphics because it look more like a SNES game, but soon fell in love with this masterpiece. It has many bachelors and bachelorettes which you can marry, lots of crops and ways to make money. Also the game keeps updating and adding new content for free.

I never really played the other Harvest Moon games and such this was based on, but it did remind me a lot of Sneaky Sasquatch. I don’t really like the rushed day model they use and having to make it back in time for bed, but it is still fun. I wish the consoles allowed chat cheats and such to mess around with things. They took away the name glitches too, so all you have is the grind. I did get the Apple version too that can cheat, but it has no multiplayer which was disappointing. I will have to get the one on Steam to try out stuff I guess.

Keeps the village growing and fake people skills blossoming. Like to build around, gather, and explore. Is a great way to pass time lounging and entertainment. Old school fun and keeping tabs on gaming arenas.

This is a great game and works pretty well on the switch. It had the latest updates at the time and future updates were free. There is so much to do in this game and even though the graphics are not next gen, the art style draws you in

Got this game for the switch since I played it on the xbox for hours and hours. It's a simple game, but its highly addictive. It's never ending and that's the fun of it. Completely open world with a little bit of story and some missions, but really it's just you building and maintaining a farm, winery, brewery, garden, and animals. However it has fishing, foraging, and even monster hunting in it as well. It has a sprinkle of just everything.

Absolutely adore this game. It's simple enough where I don't have to stress to much on how to get my farm super stable really fast. The story is nice and the characters are interesting. I will admit the only reason I bought the physical is because I wanted to own it for my shelf. I already own the digital but the physical copy is nice to have as a backup and was pleasantly surprised to find out it comes with a basic guide for the game. Not many games I buy anymore come with booklets

Few games can make me have triple digit numbers of hours in playtime. For me, Stardew Valley is one of them. The world is very much your oyster in a calm, low stakes environment (unless you’re trying to dash back in bed from the other side of town because you forgot the time). Want to just chill and farm crops? Stardew Valley has that. Cook nice meals up for people? You can do that as well. Befriend or romance everyone in town? Entirely possible to do. Ruin the mayor’s political aspirations by tossing undies in the summer luau stew? Yes, that is possible as well (and a bit gross). This game is a labor of love and is still getting updated years after its release with free content. I definitely recommend it for any gamer.
