After the Events of the Movie "Stargate" We find ourselves in a Military base where the Stargate has been housed since that 1st Mission. To the surprise of Guards on Base, The Gate Activates and The Goa'uld Come thru and attack and take prisoners. This prompts Re-Organization of the SGC and a Team, led by Jack O'Neill , Samantha Carter and the recently returned Danial Jackson to go thru the Gate and see what threats await. They get help by a Jaffa called Telc' who allies himself with the team to fight off Apophis and his Armies. The Team, now know as SG-1, continue to explore other planets in the hope of getting Alien Technologies to fight off the powerful Goa'uld and an Epic Series Begins!

I am a HUGE Stargate SG-1 fan,and loved watching it when the show was on TV years ago. Have always wanted to get the series on DVD and finally did. Have just started re-watching, and am greatly enjoying the series again. Fun to start at Season 1, where it all began.....and am looking forward to watching the whole series again to the end! The quality of the DVDs is great so far, and there are bonus features that are fun to watch, too! The price is very good, too. Would recommend this to anyone who is a Stargate fan!

I've been a BestBuy member for many years now, and 'always' do my electronic shopping with them 'first'. If price is lower somewhere else, they 'will match it', even if with online vendor, like AMAZON. The Stargate SG-1 DVDs were sealed and in perfect condition. Shipping was on time as expected, and saved me from going to the store to pick it up (which I sometimes do), but sometimes if a product is not in stock at the store, it's faster to have it shipped home.

Stargate was an awesome series with great actors, plots and entertainment value. It was a family friendly show (except for the nude scene in the pilot) that tweeked the imagination and kept you entertained. This show renewed my interest in space exploration and Egyptian history. The spin off of Atlantis was great, loved it too, but hated Universe, (universe would have been awesome if they had left out the gratuitis, graphic love scenes and extreme violence).

Stargate SG-1 was a great sci-fi adventure up there with the best of them. I Rate this as follows as to the content and quality of the show. However....What I received was plain jane packaged dvds with none of the nice art work covers that are showed.

You find yourself instantjy transported to another world light years away. But they are humans, too. Great idea!

It's like an out of body experience. By the time I finish the series I'm ready to start watching it again. I feel like I'm part of the SG-1 team.

Despite the limitations of the source format, the original still holds up! A great series presented in a slightly updated format.

Great Series Stargate series is a great series. The special features are very good and there is a lot of them one of the better space series on TV.

Bought this for my husband and he loves it. Clear copies and great packaging. A must for Stargate fsns.

The cast is great and the stories are incredible. Richard Dean Anderson is at his best.
