Can work anywhere
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using Starlink for a while now, and honestly, it has completely changed my internet experience. Living in an area where regular providers either don’t reach or offer super slow speeds, I wasn’t expecting much—but Starlink surprised me. The setup was really simple, and within minutes I was online. The speed and reliability are far better than anything else I’ve had here. Video calls don’t drop anymore, streaming is smooth, and even gaming feels responsive. On top of that, I appreciate how the company keeps improving the service with updates.

Great for off grid or anywhere but a major city
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live in the jungles of Hawaii and this has been the game changer for me. Faster than advertised with residential plan. Plans start at 50$ for 100mbps. I threw this on my roof and didn’t even bolt it down( flat roof) and it stayed put in wind storms. Waterproofing is excellent so far as it’s getting buckets of water thrown at it. Even in the darkest and worst storms my slowest speed was 70-100 mbps. Normal speeds for me on Residential Lite is 80$ and im getting speeds at 250-275 mbps Remember the more data being moved the higher the wattage from dish. Not good for cities because of surcharges and more prioritization. The router is split band so it will talk with 2.4gjhz and 5ghz smart plugs and appliances and has a range of about 150 ft. Set up took about 20-30 min to go time. Ultra easy and plug and play.

Starlink
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Starlink is now a household name in Jamaica. The product has been ordered over 20000 times in one month in my country, so that speaks for itself the superiority in the signal strength and the services were easy to use. Set up was literally one hour. Thanks Starlink!!!

Reliable and fast internet everywhere
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Starlink Standard Kit has been a game-changer for me. Setup was straightforward, and within minutes I had a stable connection even in a remote area where traditional ISPs don’t reach. Speeds are consistently fast for streaming, gaming, and video calls. The AX Tri-Band Wi-Fi system covers my whole house with strong signal, and the reliability has been excellent so far. It’s definitely an investment, but for anyone living in rural or hard-to-reach areas, it’s absolutely worth it.

Great for the country
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works fabulously! So much better than anything else I have ever used. I live in the country, so many options are not available. I had Frontier, but it was so old and never updated. This was super easy to set up. Fifteen minutes and we were up and running.

Go for it! Its worth it.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love Starlink! Its our second purchase of Starlink through Best Buy and the process is honestly easier than going through Starlink directly. Customer service was amazing, and the Geek squad plan is well worth it. Starlink is fast, set up is easy, plus you can take it wherever you go.

Works much better than expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Reception and speed is much better than expected. We originally thought it had to be mounted high in order to get a decent signal and speed. It doesn't. We kept lowering it and now have it mounted on a 2nd floor deck railing with some trees blocking part of the line of sight to the sky and it still performs very well. Even worked under 6 inches of snow. Very frequent updates. Even when we have it on the $5/month low speed service plan, speed for basic usage is ok.

Awesome!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love my Starlink system. Was easy to install and works great. Much better internet than the cable company I had previously! Was also great that Best Buy had it in stock for the same price as Starlink which would have been 2-3 week delivery time.

Easy installs and consistent performance
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve personally set up more than one Starlink Standard Kit (AX Tri-Band Wi-Fi System) — one for my parents and another for a friend — and both installs went very smoothly. Setup & Installation Experience In both cases, setup was straightforward and clearly guided through the Starlink app. Even for non-technical users, the instructions were easy to follow, and the hardware paired quickly. Firmware updates ran automatically during setup and did not cause any issues. The app’s guidance on optimal placement was especially helpful. Once everything was powered on, the mesh nodes established a strong connection without any manual tuning. Performance & Reliability After setup, both households saw immediate improvements in Wi-Fi coverage and consistency. Streaming, video calls, and everyday browsing were stable with no noticeable drops. The tri-band design handled multiple devices well, even with several users online at the same time. What stood out most was the consistency across different homes and layouts. Performance was similar in both installations, which gave me confidence in the reliability of the system. Coverage & Real-World Use In each location, the mesh system eliminated dead zones that were present with older routers. Coverage extended reliably to areas that previously struggled with weak signals, which made a noticeable difference for the end users. App & Ongoing Management The Starlink app makes ongoing management simple. It is easy to view connected devices, check basic network status, and perform basic troubleshooting without advanced networking knowledge. Pros Easy setup, even for non-technical users Consistent performance across multiple installations Strong whole-home coverage with mesh Stable connections for streaming and video calls Simple and intuitive app Cons Fewer advanced configuration options than enterprise-grade routers Initial firmware updates add a few minutes to setup Higher upfront cost than basic single-router solutions Bottom Line Based on setting up multiple Starlink systems in different homes, this kit is a strong choice for anyone who wants reliable Wi-Fi, solid coverage, and a straightforward setup experience. It is especially well-suited for households that want dependable performance without managing complex networking settings.

Easy to set up
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The hardware included is very simple to fugure out and easy to install. You receive a plentiful amount of wire guides to allow you to direct your wiring however you'd like from the satellite to the router. Any unique mounts based on your roof have to be ordered seperate though so expect to spend more to have a permanent mount if thats the path you'd like to choose. The starlink is also able to defrost in the winter, removing my worry about snow removal at its location. Along with the installation, the speeds have been reliable. Downloads around 350mbps consistently through storms. Upload fluctuating between 45 and 80mbps with a ping regularly between 15 and 19ms. Router range is decent, but not comparable to the higher end routers on market. If you would rather one router without mesh, it would be best to have a secondary router added to the instalation to be used instead, otherwise, you can order mesh extenders from the app after installation.

My go to for Internet on the move!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There are many options for mobile internet connectivity, but there's nothing like Starlink. I enjoy traveling in a motorhome and working while on the go. I was connected with a cellular home internet package, but there were too many times I was out of cell phone converage. As long as you have a clear view of the sky, Starlink works fantastically well. It's easy to connect, guides you to an optimal setup and alignment, and delivers fast speed. The ability to pause your service is a must for me as I'm often working from the office or home. But for those times when I'm traveling, I simply unpause the service and I'm quickly connected again. I would highly recommend it for on-the-go folks or as a primary or secondary connection for the home.

Game changer (starlink internet)
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Starlink Satellite Internet Review – A Game Changer for Rural Living I live in a pretty rural area where internet options are extremely limited—most traditional satellite services here barely offer 10 Mbps download and less than 1 Mbps upload. So when I got Starlink, it was an absolute game changer. From the start, the performance has been incredible. I’m consistently getting around 400 Mbps download and 160 Mbps upload, which is something I never thought I’d see in a place like this. Whether it’s streaming, gaming, video calls, or large file uploads—it handles everything smoothly. Yes, the monthly cost is a bit on the higher side compared to traditional ISPs, but honestly, for the speed and reliability you're getting in an area with virtually no other viable options, it’s worth every penny. Easily one of the best purchases I’ve made. If you live in a remote or underserved area and need fast, reliable internet, Starlink is absolutely worth it.

Reliable temp back-up internet
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We picked this up to keep on hand as a backup internet option for clients, especially helpful after storms or when setting up new office locations. Setup was straightforward, and the no contract model fits perfectly with the kind of short term flexibility we need. It has been reliable in our test runs, and having the extra peace of mind for connectivity makes a big difference. We also got a hard case from Amazon to protect it during transport, which we would definitely recommend if you are moving it around. Great product overall, it does exactly what we need it to do.

Starlink is Great!!
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using Starlink for a few months now, and it has completely transformed my internet experience, especially living in a rural area. The speeds are consistently fast, even during peak times, allowing me to stream, work, and game without any hiccups. Setup was incredibly simple. The included app walks you through the process, and once the dish is in place, it quickly connects to the satellite network. Within minutes, I had blazing-fast internet speeds, something I never thought possible where I live. What I love most is its reliability. Despite the weather—whether it’s raining, snowing, or clear skies—Starlink has proven to be resilient and dependable. I no longer worry about outages or dropped connections like I did with my previous ISP. If you're in a remote area and struggling with traditional internet providers, Starlink is the perfect solution. It's a game-changer and worth every penny. Highly recommended!
