Works well (I mean - it either works well or not at all, and this Does Work Well). The only problem is one I have with all small light weight components: Once I have it all wired up with cables it becomes part of a "snakes nest" of wires in my computer rack. I use Velcro tape and ties to keep everything in its place ... somewhat.

EVEN ON MY DESKTOP, I FOUND I NEEDED MORE USB SLOTS TO KEEP HANDY EXTERNAL HARD DRIVES OR FLASHDRIVES. THIS HUB, WHILE A BIT MORE EXPENSIVE (BEST BUY MATCHED AN ONLINE PRICE) IS SOLID AND GIVE ENOUGH ROOM BETWEEN EACH HUB. I LIKE THAT THE CABLES EXTEND TO THE SIDE RATHER THAN COME OUT THE TOP, WHICH MAKES ITS PLACE ON MY DESK LESS OSTENTATIOUS!

this com port is compact and has blue lamps to indicate which ports are connected.

Nice product with multiple USB ports that light up when connected. You do need a power source for the device to work. It's lightweight and slides around on the desk. Rubber feet would make this the perfect product.

I connected the hub to my new ACER laptop, and it worked. No messing around, and only one minor problem. I use a wireless mouse interfaced through a USB plug in. Connection was lost after hibernating or sleeping, unless I plugged it into port 1 of the hub.

No issues with the StarTech USB 7 port hub. I've had it for several months now and haven't had any issues whatsoever. It was purchased as a replacement for a 4 port hub that required frequent resets to keep Windows connected. This definitely serves my needs!

I’ve you’ve owned a decent PC this comes in handy for plugging in wireless paraphernalia including wireless headsets and Xbox one controller dongles. Plus, StarTech is one of the best that I’ve used (so far)

I have had this Hub for a couple of years now and have used it extensively. The fact that it is plugged in was a bonus for me in that now it will also charge the phone while i am exchanging information from the tablet.

I ran out a capacity with my 4 Port USB Hub. This 7-Port USB 3.0 Hub allows me to work more efficiently and not have to unplug and plugin peripherals, as they are required.

We operate a small business and we use it to run multiple pieces of equipment to connect and control them as 1. No complaints at all.

no longer have to fumble around on the back of the tower, just plug usb into the port. The indicator light lets me know it is working without even checking a great time saver.

Significantly Sped Up the power with the bus operation. Well worth the buy for boosted performance. The spacing between the ports is helpful in case you have a large usb.

This device worked great. I hooked it up to my Xbox one X so I would have room for an 8 TB drive, keyboard, chargers. My other USB 3 was for my kinnects. Lights on it indicate when a port is being used.

I purchased two of these to connect my many devices. The price was reasonable considering the number of ports. There aren't many units that are greater then 4, so I was happy to see this item.

EZ Peezy and works like a champ! Specs says Win 8, but this works excellent on Win 10 as well...no nonsense, just plug it in...

I have had USB Hubs that did not perform consistently. This hub performed at high speeds right out of the box and it is powered, so devices enjoy the extra boost too!

I can finall connect everything a one time, instead of disconnecting and the reconnecting something else, which is a great help and saves time.

works excellent and has a light for each port to let you know when something is plugged in.... works great for external hard drives and wireless mouse and keyboard
