This keyboard checks all the boxes for me. They keycaps are accurate and very satisfying to use due to the feedback and build quality. The OLED screen is also very useful for monitoring system performance.

This keyboard is excellent and durable. The keys feel very smooth and the RGB is nice and bright. I like keyboards with the 10-key so I opted for the full size.
Quick note on durability...I spilled an entire cup of water on this and the keyboard stopped working. After disassembling and drying the keyboard, it fired right up with no issues. Great product.

This key board is real nice, the way the keys feel when you press them is very satisfying! I like the bottom portion which allows you to rest your wrists. Very easy to use. A+ all around.

Great keyboard if can't install software

I wanted a keyboard that had the ability to do macros without installation of software, as I can't install anything on the work computer but they require a 15-character password input that gets used 50 plus times a day. This fits the bill. It is sturdy and the colors and lighting are very customizable and do not require software. The strike of the keys is easy for typing. I do not use this for gaming so can't speak on that. Is it equivalent to the original cherry red switches for typing? Or to an IBM from the 80s? Well, no. But it is still very good and enables accurate typing and has real-time adjustable strike for hands that are painful or swollen during different parts of the day. My only complaint is that the connector cord for it to talk to the computer is very thick and stiff. Like, outdoor extension cord thick. But it's still doable. It's pricey but if you can't install software for a keyboard, this is the way.

Being able to individual tune keys is amazing. Ever fat fingered a grenade ? Say goodbye to Tks and fat fingers. Lighting is pretty dope as well. A little pricey? Maybe it is. Just go ahead and buy it dude. Your wife can only stay mad for so long right? Mine did... at least until I did something else to distract from it.
Good luck

Amazing quality and a nifty OLED display. I use the display with the steel series app to show my PC stats such as hardware temp and usage. The price is a bit up there but the build is solid and seems rather durable. I don't mess with key sensitivity all that much but it's there for fine tuning should you desire right in the same app. A worthwhile purchase if you have the funds.

The SteelSeries Apex Pro V2 is a real looker—slick, colorful, and just about the nicest keyboard you’ll ever lay hands on. Those adjustable switches feel custom-built, and the RGB lighting? Lord, it’ll light up your desk like the Ferris wheel at the county fair. It’s got all the makings of perfection, but, well, it’s got its moods too.
Sometimes, you bring it outta sleep, and it just sits there like a mule that don’t wanna move. Other times, it gets stuck in some kinda boot loop, like it’s trying to think too hard. Only way to fix it is to restart the thing, which feels like settin’ it back on the straight and narrow. She’s temperamental, sure, but when it’s workin’ right, there ain’t a keyboard out there I’d rather be tappin’ on.

I have used several mechanical gaming and proffessional keyboards from different brands with a wide variety of switch types and this really is my favorite without hesitation.
I use this keyboard for gaming (fps and mmo) and for work (data entry) and the ability to change profiles including key sensitivity was the main reason for the purchase. I use multiple sensitivity levels for gaming but for work I want a more even typing experiance. Being able to set individual key sensitivity per profile is amazing if you switch between game types.
The keys are not overly loud (cherry blues and anything from razer) and the sensitivity can be like a cherry speed or really slowed down to where a full press of the key is required for actuation.
The keys themselves dont really have a mechanical click like the cherry's which was expected but it doesn't feel vague either. It's a very satisfying middle ground where you feel it's been pressed due to the resistance without too loud of an audible click. Noise volume is probably closer to my Ducky with the mx browns. Key actuation is very smooth.
The keyboard itself is very nice and not huge like the logitech's or corsairs I've had. For my desk it fit perfectly with the wrist rest which is very nice. The corsair k95 is the only other keyboard that I used that had a better one but I'm splitting hairs. The keyboard isnt super heavy but it doesn't move around and stays in place. It feels and looks quality without being too futuristic or coming across as a gaming only keyboard based on looks.
I haven't had a chance to play around with the screen. They are kind of a gimmick but a lot of people are writing apps for it for various things if you like that kind of stuff.
My only complaint has more to do with the software. Its NOWHERE near as bad as razer's but sometimes it doesn't switch between my profiles when I open and close certain programs like it should and for whatever reason after some reboots or prolonged sleep period it defaults to some sort of color scheme that isnt a part of any of my set configurations. That said, it was very easy to configure and the same software portal seems to work with other steelseries products (headphones in my case)

Purchased the SteelSeries Apex Pro to replace a Razer Blackwidow worn out through heavy gaming. All keyboards wear out eventually but I needed one that will take a pounding and last a few years. After doing the appropriate research chose the SteelSeries and so far it has lived up to expectations. I especially like the quality of construction, adjustable key sensitivity, customizable lighting schemes, feel of the palm rest, and inclusion of a dust cover as a nice touch.

This is a great keyboard that takes some time to get used to. I specially works great when paired with their steelseries engine app to allow for key customization. Without the engine app they keyboard is very sensitive. Key presses are very light, so if you are very fast at typing, this may be the keyboard for you. The build quality is very rigid with minimal flex.
If I had to change anything on the keyboard, it would be the keycaps. Why?, because the tops of the keys are for my preferences. Pairing the sensitivity of this keyboard with the tall keys cause for type-o if you accidentally bump a key during finger travel. So i prefer the shallower keys.
Other than the keycaps, this keyboard is great overall. I really am enjoying it! The onboard screen is kind of gimmiky just use the driver app to make adjustments.

The keyboard feels amazing as has great features. From the magnetic wrist rest that I can pull away when I need desk space, to the lcd window that tells me who is speaking on discord, this is a great product. Keys are quiet enough compared to my old clicky switches and my partner can now sleep in the same room while I have epic space/mech/fps battles!!

I really love this keyboard. Having been a logitech fan for years, I was not sure I wanted to switch. But after typing on this keyboard, I fell in love. All the extras of lighting and oled display are just bonus.
The keyboard has a solid feel about it without being overly heavy or chunky. The wrist rest is very pleasant to use and clips on magnetically.
The steel series software seems to have issues occasionally, but once everything is set up how I want it, I don't really use the software much, so that is just a minor drawback.
I am happy with my choice and would buy it again.

Nice keyboard that isn’t too flashy (unless you want it to be). Keys are responsive and the Omnipoint functionality is a cool feature that I’m excited to dive deeper into. The Steel Series engine is easy to navigate and makes it easy to customize your keyboard and RGB settings. My only real gripe is the rubber wrist rest. The fact that it’s magnetic is awesome but the texture makes it awkward to clean particularly if just try to brush it off. Overall though it’s a great keyboard I would recommend.

Without getting into custom switches, this is by far the best keyboard you can purchase. The magnetic switches they have here, even ignoring the incredible adjustable actuation feature, are nothing short of phenomenal. They're buttery smooth and are beyond pleasing to type on! The OLED screen is a nice bonus but I wouldn't consider it the main selling point of this keyboard. By pure feel, this keyboard is absolutely worth the money, and I can't imagine using another keyboard anytime soon.

I upgraded to this from the Apex M750, which I loved, but the upgraded features on this keyboard make it worth the shift and price. All the adjustable switches are amazing, while I only adjusted a few keys for practicality. In terms of RGB, it's great, even though there are fewer options than the M750 as far as patterns are concerned. The OLED screen, scroll wheel and button are very nice too. Being able to switch profiles, illumination, and some settings without having to open the SSE is a very nice feature. All in all, I'd say it's worth the buy.

My bf goes nowhere without this keyboard. It’s super portable and he cannot live without it. As he said it has the perfect clickiness and it’s not too loud for me. It drove me insane hearing both our keyboards hashing away but once he got this one don’t worry about adding to the noise with my keyboard.

WOW, what a keyboard! A mechanical keyboard, it feels great. This is easily the very best keyboard that I have ever used. Everyone will have different opinions on which is best etc, but after getting this one, I will not be buying a new one until the day this one no longer works. Then I will buy this one or an improved keyboard later. The RGB is fantastic, so many options to use. Looks GREAT, feels GREAT, NO complaints at all. It is very pricey for sure, but for me I think its worth it without a doubt.
