Love these things. The sound is very clear and crisp, but the bass is still nice and punchy. The discord chat/game volume thingy is kinda gimmicky, but it's nice. The mic having a built in light to show you're muted is wonderful, and the RGB, while unseen by the wearer, is clean. The optional software is easy to navigate. I can't quite comment on the surround sound experience, but everything else works very well. Quality headset, would highly recommend to others

I use the USB port for the headset. It’s crystal clear (I use discord for chat) and cancels out exterior noise very well. It’s loud! The extendable/retractable mic is a cool touch, I just tuck it away when I’m done for the night. The RGB lighting was super easy to set up and looks awesome. I really like the chat/game volume knob. Makes adjusting the volume level between chat and game extremely easy, just reach over and turn it to whichever you want to be louder.

I have a thing for wired headsets and this is easily in my top 3 of all time! The sound is good, a little lacking behind the hyper x cloud revolver s, but the separation is slightly better. This headset really shines through the mic though. Crystal freaking clear voice chat and I love the fact it's retractable! The lights are a nice touch and I liked being able to edit the profile through PC even though I mainly play on PS4. Great headset without breaking the bank! Oh, and super comfortable, lighter than most full featured headsets that I've used!

Hands DOWN!!! Some of the best headphones for the price! I have had this pair for a few years and they work well with my job for taking calls and gaming!!! The sound is (chefs kiss) perfect! They are EXTREMELY comfortable around the head and ears. Perfect headset! Gave them to my youngest son when I left my job and now that I am back to gaming and online streaming of those games...I wish I hadn't. I will be buying another pair expeditiously!

I bought this so I could get rid of all my Razer products and just like my SteelSeries keyboard, mouse, this headset is far better! I previously used a Razer Nari Ultimate that was good except for software issues on windows 10. All of my online friends say my voice is improved 100% in terms of vocal clarity. More importantly the SteelSeries GG software is way better than all the versions of Razer Synapse, that would constantly create windows errors and even game/system crashes.

Lightweight, snug, no pinching. Sound is awesome. Love the pull out microphone. Enjoy the rgb color ring. Headband feels great, not too tight. Only 2 cons. The power cord is looooong. There should be an optional shorter cable. And, the power cord is on the left side. Most place pc to the right, which makes the cord come across your body, sometimes in the way of right arm. Not significant enough to remove a star as it is personal preference. Close though. I would upgrade or buy again if necessary.

I honestly really love this headset, however... the volume controller on the cord is way too sensitive! I am constantly having to turn the nob back so i can hear people when it is bumped just even a smidge. It's truly an annoyance i could do with out and hope they fix this in the future. Otherwise the sound is pretty good and it is comfortable. I love that i can control the rgb. It does tend to fall off of my head pretty easy as well if i put my head back or forward. Anyways I hope this helps someone out before they purchase!

Very comfortable. I usually have a hard time with headsets like this, the weight generally bothers me before long, but the strap design on this model really mitigates that. I'm digging it. I'm not an audiophile, but the sound is great. Zero trouble using it for my PC or PS5

Got it for my sister's birthday, she loves it. The quality comfort and the surround sound is fantastic. It's super light weight, and sometimes forgot that she have it on. The design is simple and slim, just how she wanted it. Like how you can extend and put away the mic when she doesn't needed, so it doesn't get in the way. Would recommend to anyone.

PROS: The audio quality is excellent. I'm blown away by the sound of these headphones. The SteelSeries App is dead useful. Plenty of options for tweaking the sound. You can add different audio profiles for different games that the app will apply when you launch the game. The microphone is also excellent. People have zero difficulty hearing or understanding me. The in line audio mixer for chat/game audio is very helpful when your teammates are being distracting while gaming. The headband and pressure is comfortable on my medium sized head. Once you get the headset placed where you want they stay put while gaming. The ear cups are huge, so regardless how large your ears are they will fit with zero issues. Controls are easy to use. Mute button turns on red light on mic so you visually know the mic is muted. Retractable mic CONS: These headphones are pretty bad at blocking outside noise, but increasing the volume helps with that. The ear cups are huge, and I've found that if you don't have your ears centered in the middle the audio is a little off. I don't think the clamping pressure would be enough to keep them steady while making quick movements. Larger heads might not have this problem. Your ears will likely get warm while wearing for long sessions. The speakers do lose some fidelity when you crank the volume up high. There's a wire to be mindful of. Overall: These are a solid buy, even more so if you can get them for under $100. I think the only way you're going to get better sound is to splurge for the Artics Pro version. But you can spend $200 cheaper, spend a few minutes tweaking the sound to your liking, and have a seriously great sounding headset for gaming, music, and movies.

    Gud Sound Ear Pillows

Much yes. Pretty Lights Much Softness Sound Gud Mic can slide in and out of headset (giggity) RGB and equalizer are addressable in app. Works on Xbox and PS4 or anything with 3.5mm aux but only bad thing: RGB no-worky unless used on PC (which you plug headset into via USB) Knob can easily adjust volume of game or chat. Turn knob to chat to hear people better / turn knob to other side to shut-up everyone else and focus on game. Cons: Is not fireproof - don't roast marshmallows with it. RGB might or might not increase FPS - Probably not but you should still get every component and peripheral you possibly can get that has RGB! ( o_O) Would you buy this? I'd buy this... ~~ ( )~~ __/ \_

Awesome headset with great mic! I went through a few wired and wires less options that costed way more(all purchased at Bestbuy) and these have proven to be the most comfortable and reasonably priced. I might go for a wireless pair soon

After my Plantronics Rig 600 headset broke it was time to purchase a new headset. I was planning on going Plantronics again since I really liked my last headset and thought it was a good quality headset. I was wrong. I decided to check reviews on Best Buy and and was wanting to stay around the $100 mark. I know there are better offerings out there but according to the reviews and being that the SteelSeries Arctis 5 were on sale for 20% off I decided to give them a try. I was blown away at how much better they sound than the Rig 600. I also really like the the way they feel on my head with not too much or too little clamping force. I am a big fan of the elastic "suspension" band that runs across the top. It makes long gaming sessions nice. I would Highly recomend this headset if you are looking in this price range.

I was surprised by how light they were. At first they felt cheap but now that I've had them I appreciate that they're lightweight it makes it extremely comfortable for prolonged gaming sessions. Great headphone for the price point. Keep in mind that wired has a little better sound quality than wireless.

I'm very much enjoying this headset. Very comfortable to wear for prolonged periods of time and they have tasteful RGB as well. Bass is lacking for my taste but you can compensate with the equalizer included with the software that you have to download.

Good gaming headphones. In FPS games footsteps and directional audio are on point. Standard Youtube, Movies, and music listening get the job done but aren't going to be anything special. Overall for the price they're pretty great!

Really comfortable, and the sound quality is very good. The look of the headset is very clean and simple with rgb. Only downside is wires, because in order to use rgb you need to plug in the game chat volume changer which is more extra wiring in the way
