Great audio, comfortable headset, and mic is super clear. I've been using mine for PS4 and it’s been wonderful.

I was searching for a headset for about two weeks trying different ones almost every day. I was sold on the Arctis 5 for its amazing audio and mic. The audio worked great for gaming and music, friends and coworkers said the mic didn't pick up any background noise and they could hear me crystal clear. What led me to return this was the fact that 4 days after purchase the headset audio started crackling and wouldn't stop. I tried to update the drivers and switch to different usb ports but crackling still wouldn't stop. I ended up returning them and buying the Arctis Pro headset.

Not bad but if you have full volume on, you’ll be able to hear out side of the headset pretty cool looking but I’d go with turtle beach

Overall, it's a solid headset for PC gaming. It wears comfortably and includes a dial for chat/game volume. I have used this playing Warzone, Fortnite and Cold War. It's a fairly quiet headset, but not too quiet. Directional sound is pretty good from what I've experienced. Footsteps are heard clearly. RGB lighting is nice and bright and fully customizable. For $100, it's a solid buy. Only downfall in my opinion is that it does not cancel noise outside of the headset well.

Light, comfy, decent audio quality and mic. I wish I could have the RGB lights while only plugging in through the audio port. You need to use the usb extension to have RGB lights on the headphones. If it could have that or wireless RGB headphones then this would be perfect. If you want to control the RGB on the headphones you will need to download the steelseries software on your computer, I don’t think it’s mentioned anywhere on the box or inside.

This headset is comfortable, the circumaurel ear pieces block sound well, the 3-D sound is very good, way better than I thought they would be. I would have given them 5 stars but there is something wrong with the mic after having it unmuted for 5 minutes, the mic brings a ringing sound into my streaming, when I mute the mic the sound goes away. I got the Geek Squad 2 year replacement guarantee, so let’s see if I can get a replacement.

Ok I bought this and at first was very disappointed. But after reading you HHHAAVEE to download the steel series software. Doing this will enable the full functionality of this headset. I play lots of COD, and sometimes the sound is so good I flinch when playing. Footsteps in cod are loud and clear. Best part is no battery that dies. Works perfectly plugged into the controller, or using on the PC, Laptop and or mobile phone.
