Best investment I've made for my PS4
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this headset after returning my Corsair Virtuoso SE RBG due to lackluster features on my PS4. All I can say is wow. These headsets were night and day. I love the fact that you can set the equalizers to your type of gameplay. Another plus was the bluetooth connectivity to my cell phone. When playing Call of Duty, I can hear exactly where an enemy is coming from and how far away they are by their footsteps. Microphone is very good but still the tiniest bit nasally. It doesnt bother me or anyone I play with online. It comes with 2 batteries that can be swapped out with ease. The battery can be charged on the included station while you use the other one so you will never run out of juice. I highly recommend investing in this headset.

Great Gaming Headset
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought for my son and he loves them! Sound is really good and connect to his phone to listen to music while gaming. He especially likes being able to swap batteries when unit gets low on power.

Disappointment - SS Arctis Pro Wireless
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I've had another headset (won't mention because apparently it's agains the "review guidelines") for almost 5 years now and they've been great. Only until now I'm starting to notice that they are slowly dying and while I could keep using them (as they are still working just fine and sound great), I decided it was time to upgrade. I didn't want to get the Gen upgrade because I wanted something that felt new and different. I did some research and saw that the SS Arctis Pro Wireless, although expensive, were all around the highest rated and most recommended headset I could find. Nothing but great reviews. I ordered a pair and just finished testing them out and..... I'm massively disappointed. The two biggest things that are a let down are 1) Sound Quality, and 2) Comfort. I'll start with sound quality. Don't get me wrong, they sound great. After playing a Dolby Atmos demo video off YouTube (to get all those sound ranges and bass and all that), I noticed right away that the SSAPW sounded more crisp and had a better bass than my previous headset. The part that I find unforgivable is the surround sound. While the quality of audio is crisp and sounds great, it lacks almost any sense of surround sound. It sounds dull and unfulfilling, like someone speaking through a tin can. Comparing them to my previous/current headset... well there really isn't any comparison to be made. I turned off the audio limiter and turned the surround sound on through the box and noticed absolutely no difference (aside from it being louder due to the audio limiter). I tried installing all the software updates and messed around with the mixer through the SS GG app and didn't have much luck. Also for the sidetone, I had that volume on max because I could barely hear myself (and still could barely hear myself with it maxed out) and heard a significant amount of feedback. So that's another part of the headset that was lacking. Moving onto comfort. All the reviews I watched said that the SSAPW were "the most comfortable headset they've tried" but they must've all been lying or something because that is far from the truth. Upon wearing the headset for the first time I immediately noticed how uncomfortable they were. The band lacks any sort of adjusting as there's only a small square of Velcro you can use to adjust it. The ear pads were fine but the the biggest thing for comfort is the lack of padding on the plastic piece where the sound comes from. It's literally only the thinnest piece of fabric they could find to cover it.. and these are $330?! On my previous/current headset, there's a whole pad there and you can't even feel the plastic at all unless you really press down on it. Maybe if I bought some thicker pads it would help with my ears not touching the plastic but I shouldn't have to buy even more stuff for a $330 headset. By far the most disappointing thing I've found. Overall, I was very excited to receive the SSAPW but unfortunately I'm left disappointed. The only thing the SSAPW excels in is the swappable battery feature which is going to be painful to leave behind because that was the main thing I was excited for. I wanted these to work but I know I'm just going to return them so I can get my Gen upgrade instead.

Great sound
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sounds for gaming. Good to hear footsteps in shooting games. The 2 batteries are great. Never lets your head set die. You charge one batter while you play and swap as needed

Best audiophile headphones under $400
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound stage is amazing, 99% of the the time it never cracks or distorts, very comfortable and never hurts with hours of use, perfect for fps games due to hearing other players. Worth the money without a sale!

Love the dual connection
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great headset if you want to be able to answer phone calls while you play or watch videos. However, the sound quality for the price isn’t all that great. The quality wasn’t impressive at all and disappointed out of the box. After using the manufactures software I was able to play with an equalizer, which made it a little bit better. Once DTS was enabled it sounded like a $79-$100 headset. Wired headsets priced $120 or higher have higher sound quality than this one.

Amazing sound effects and Comfort!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought all the hoopla was just hype.... Nope I put these things on and the sound is unbelievable! There is a map on COD Vanguard called Gavutu, and when the match starts there is thunder, with these headphones it sounds like it is coming from above your head. The sound effects are crazy good!

Great Sound But does have mic issues
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought one in hopes to try something better than my Astro A40’s. I like the sound way better just wish it could get a little louder. Also has a mic problem where if you use it in PS4 and put your ps4 in rest mode you have to hard restart the PlayStation as well as the headset in order to get the mic working again. I’ve personally adjusted to it but I do understand this can make or break a sale.

Outstanding sound
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The SteelSeries arctis pro wireless has made me a better gamer. I can hear the finest details on any game be it the last of us 2 or COD. The sound quality from this set is hands down the best sound I’ve ever experienced. Out of the box sound is good but the custom settings are where this set really shines. You can set it up from the wireless box or plug in the box to a computer to set it up as well. My last set had constant disconnects or poor sound quality and I haven’t had a single disconnect with this set. Price is the only true barrier but I would absolutely recommend these to anyone looking for the best sound and quality.

Highly Recommend A Quality Wireless Gaming Headset
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The audio could be much better for its price tag but if you are solely wanting to game with this headset and not worried about music/multimedia/watching movies then these are for you. Great gaming headset, never worry about low battery as the extra battery you can keep in the charging slot if needed to be swapped out. Quick and Easy Battery Swapping to get back in the game/chat.
