Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the superb sound quality and long battery life as top features. Comfort is also praised, although some users note fit issues depending on head size. While the Bluetooth functionality and range are appreciated, a high price point and some software quirks are common criticisms.

Even though it says it works with Xbox, I found out the hard way the two systems don’t work well together at all.

I really wanted to like these. I downloaded and updated the firmware before I used them. I could use them on my PC, PS5 and Series X (via optical link). But the constant disconnect from wireless game audio and robotic or no mic with bluetooth. Having to turn it on and off again nearly hourly. Worst of all no way to even get in touch with Steel Series for support. Great idea, poorly executed. Traded them in for another brand… 0 regrets.

I bought and used the the Arctis Pro Wireless Headset for less than a month before the transmitter stopped working. This headset was treated with utmost care and never left my gaming desk. I tried all online fixes, but to no avail, the transmitter appears broken. It will no longer pair with headset and is not recognized by multiple computers as an audio device. Since I still have a few days in my return window, I will returning this purchase to Best Buy. To be fair I contacted customer support at Steelseries on the weekend and they are closed. From what I have read the support is slow and terrible, so I decided not to wait for their reply. Online reddit groups dealing with steelseries customer service had to go through a month of back and forths before item was replaced with an obviously refurbished base statiion with burn-in on the screen. Overall the SteelSeries Arctis Pro wireless was a joy to use and worked well, until it didnt. For this high price point the product should be more reliable and easier to replace by customer support without having to go through a month of questioning by the manufacture.

Coming from an older set of Astro 40s it was time for an upgrade and I wanted to go wireless. Everyone raved about these heaphones. I could wear my Astros all day and night with no fagigue. I wore these for 15 minutes and had a headache. At the maximum length the headband still made my head hurt. Returned and bought A50s, I made the right choice.

Nice build quality, but sound quality is very mediocre on ps5. Would wait to purchase until steelseries patches them, as they’ve promised

At first this headset felt amazing and the audio quality was great. But then after a week of using it It started feeling real uncomfortable and I heard creaking every time I moved my head. The wireless/Bluetooth between my computer and phone was not the best experience either.

Pros: Design, Sound Quality, Mic Quality, Dual Connectivity, Comfort, Hot-Swappable Battery Cons: Price, Software PROS: This is easily the best gaming headset I have ever used. Hands down. If you're in the market for the absolute best gaming headset you can possibly buy, this is it. You just need to be willing to pay for it. I'll be taking a deep dive in all the pros and cons. Design is very eye-catching, and the ski-goggle headband adds good comfort and customizability. You can even purchase earcup covers and headbands to change up the look! Sound quality is easily the best in the business. 100% audiophile worthy. Bluetooth music quality is not as good, but still way better than some wireless headsets that don't have it at all. DTS Headphone:X is an added bonus. From what my friends have told me, microphone quality is excellent. I also like how you can adjust the mic mute LED brightness to conserve battery. Like you'll need to do that, though. Dual connectivity is actually quite convenient. I thought I wouldn't use it as much as I do. Again, as mentioned before, Bluetooth does bump down audio quality, but it's still good. I have a normal-sized head, and I find this headset to be comfortable for long gaming sessions. Some people with larger heads might struggle, however. There's not much leverage with the ski-goggle. Hot-swappable batteries are a godsend in my opinion. My Razer Nari died on me because of a battery malfunction, but no worries here! I've got a backup in case that happens with these. You can also buy new ones direct from SteelSeries. CONS: This thing is EXPENSIVE! But then again, you do get what you pay for, any many of the features you get with this headset aren't available on and others as far as I know. You want the best? You gotta pay for it. SteelSeries Engine is just okay in my opinion. It looks dated, and I hate that you have to manually save every time you change a setting, but now I'm just nitpicking. It's fine and nothing more, nothing less. Overall, this headset is the best you can get, but only if you can afford it. You could put up with Engine, but you could just change settings through the box it comes with, so no hassle there. SteelSeries' magnum opus, by far. Just need to be willing to burn a massive hole in your wallet or purse.

Headband was way too small and gave me a headache after a couple hours of use. The connection between the headband and the speakers was also flimsy. And the wireless version of the headphone is actually not certified for Hi-Res because the transmitter design is like 8 years old

Tried the wired version of this headset as well as this wireless version. Was unimpressed with both, but particularly unimpressed with the wireless version. Sound quality did not come close to warranting the high price. Not good value for the money.

My headset has a problem: When I press the mic mute button, the button is loose and most of the times the mute LED does not come on. If it fidget with the button in the mute state, it comes on and off.
