Customers frequently mention the superb sound quality and long battery life as top features. Comfort is also praised, although some users note fit issues depending on head size. While the Bluetooth functionality and range are appreciated, a high price point and some software quirks are common criticisms.

Battery swapping and Bluetooth are awesome

Sound quality is great, but the real standouts are Bluetooth capability and the battery swapping. You can have Bluetooth and the other input playing simultaneously which is great if you’re gaming and want to watch a video on your phone or taking a phone call. Battery swapping is great because one battery is always charged in the control module and is swapped out when your headset battery is low. You never really have to charge the headset itself.

Sounds quality and comfort is great. Being able to pair it to Bluetooth and use it for gaming/streaming is the best quality. The spare battery always being charged in the mix amp would be next on the list. The only downside I've found is the mute button could be built a little better. It can shift to one side or the other when depressing it and it does not feel high quality. I switch from Astro A50's and I would highly recommend this product over the Astros.

The headset is excellent. Audio is great. The dac is pretty user friendly. Swapping the rechargable batteries is super easy, takes 10 seconds max. The earcups are really my only complaint. They can be swapped with earcups from amazon for about 20 bucks. I seriously recommend this upgrade as it impacts all aspects of the headset (better noise isolation, more secure fit, more comfort)

Seriously this headset is 9.99/10, the sound quality is amazing. The structure is super solid, and half of the headset is replaceable (cushions, and head ski strap) for upgraded comfort. My only complaint about the headphone, and this is seriously reaching is the volume button. It kind of gets easy to turn accidentally if you turn your head the right way, or sit in a chair with a back behind you head. Really that’s nothing to complain about, the quality of these headphones are amazing.

For someone with a soft voice, who is always told they can’t be heard, this headset provides so much clarity to the people listening. It has great sound quality and it was easy to hook up to the pc. Connecting to a phone is a simple Bluetooth setup. The battery holds charge for a solid game session. So about 4 hours. The interface is also easy to go through and well laid out. The aesthetic is clean and looks great. It’s also very comfortable.

Once you go high quality and wireless you will never go back to ruglar headphones. Sound quality, volume, EQ settings excellent. You can setup extra setrings by downloading the Steel Series desktop app. I kive that the DAC also doubles as the battery charger. You get 2 batteries with this headset. Very comfortable, light weight for painless hours of use. I have glasses and they do not press too hard, also using the AUX on the DAC tou can use tgis wirelessly with the GoXLR mixer.

Pros: Packaged well, instructions were great and almost thorough. Bought this a month ago after my PS gold headset started falling apart after six years (still works though, and is the old 5.1 version). Sound quality is excellent, and my replay of Fallout 4 is a night and day difference between Arctis and PS Gold. I could hear things in music and in game I've never heard before using other hardware. Never been an audiophile, because I never had the experience, but I want to use these around the house for music now, not just gaming. The headset can also connect to 2.4Ghz and bluetooth AT THE SAME TIME. No need to remove the headset to answer a call. Comfortable for 6 hours straight at least (that's the longest I've used them in one go), with only minimal heat buildup around the ears, slightly more than the PS Gold. I love never having to plug the headset in, with an easily changeable battery (headset comes with two already). Cons: I have been extremely careful handling this headset, as other users have warned about fragile plastic at the top of the earcups where it meets the swivel. I lay it down in a case, I wouldn't recommend hanging these from a stand at all where gravity will eventually win against the plastic. Also, the default EQ settings are horrible and the sound is too low; using the transmitter I set my custom EQ setting using a "smiley face setting" with max bass and treble, with mid mids. I also disabled the max volume, highly recommended. All in all, there are fixes and/or preventative measures for all the cons that I could think of, making this the perfect headset for me. The cons, and the changeable batteries, make this (expensive) headset worth every penny. I have not used the mic yet, I cannot comment on it.

It sounds good and the extra battery is nice but unless you’re willing to go the extra mile and connect it to your console or PC via optical cable I honestly don’t think it’s worth the price. But to each their own. I ended up returning for a cheaper option.

Overall a great headset with great audio. Comfortable to wear for long periods of time, and the extra rechargable battery helps aswell. I have my PC, Xbox, and phone/tablet conected to the dac and switching between devices is very easy. I also like that I can use multiple devices at the same time. Ive tried multiple high end headsets and this one is by far my favorite.

I have some concerns about the design--specifically the structural soundness of the hinges connecting band to earpiece--but I'm not going to knock any points off unless something actually breaks. I can't speak to the sound quality--I can't tell the difference between cheap headphones and supposedly high-end ones, they all sound the same to me. Been using $20 off-brand speakers for years. So basically, I have no complaints, but I'm as far as one can get from an audiophile. The real selling point here was the swappable batteries. My old Logitech G930 died to an issue with its USB charging port not being securely attached to its board, so this thing having a direct battery replacement seems like a good way to rule that out. The one you're not using charges in the base station, and they last a long time. Speaking of the base station, the controls on that are surprisingly useful for making changes without having to alt-tab out of games and such, and it shows your battery levels constantly (both the one in the headset and the one in the charger). I find the thing slightly less comfortable than my old G930, but more comfortable than the modern iteration of that line (G933, I think). No problem at all wearing it for a long time. I kinda wish the fabric on the ear pieces was removable for cleaning, but at least it's not faux leather that's going to start flaking off on me. Also, no ridiculous RGB lights. Seriously, why do so many of these come with lights?

I really wanted to like these and for a while I did. The sound quality is great and having 2 batteries is great for those long game play/zoom meetings. But where it really started to get to me was the ear cups. The included ear cups were only good for about an hour before it got too painful on my ear and I had to take it off. I replaced them with angled brainwavez ear cups and they are better, but still start to hurt my ears after more than 2 hours. then the software started to act up. maybe it was a windows thing, but lately one of the two connected (game vs chat) stopped outputting audio. after several reboots of the headphones and the computer it would come back. but i could never figure out why it would stop working or how to prevent it.

This is one of the most comfortable gaming headsets I've ever used. The range is impressive, audio and noise isolation is top notch, controls are intuitive and easily accessible, and the blue tooth option for taking calls terrific. Having fast, on the fly access to all of the options including mute, in game chat, PC volume, and bluetooth right on the headset is very convenient.

I don't speak for the audiophiles that want to nitpick. I'm an average person who just wanted something good. This headset certainly has made me very happy so far and I would highly recommend it to others. It works on PS5. It works on my Macbook Pro, and it works on my LG OLED TV. Setting it up was fairly easy. It's just pairing it to whichever device that you want, and you can charge it with the USB cable by plugging it into the PS5 or your computer. The sound is very good. Rich, natural bass. I don't hear weird hissing sounds or anything. It's just a quality product. Feels comfortable on my head to wear too. It's just everything I hoped for honestly. I have no complaints or regrets. You can get more details on specs from others, but the layperson would be doing themselves a favor by splurging for this set. You will not be disappointed and you can enjoy anything you want with these without disturbing those living with you or neighbors if you live in an apartment. These headphones sound just as good as my soundbar + subwoofer that I paid many hundreds of dollars for last year.

I bought these to work from home and have not been disappointed. I wear them the majority of the day and they are always comfortable. I have larger ears and they don’t bother me. The second battery is great as well, quick switch and keep going. The microphone is pretty good as well. It works great with my iPhone as well. I prefer talking on the iPhone using my headset.

Been a Steel Series fan after trying my first set! I replaced my SteelSeries 800 Siberias with these Arctic Pros... much prefer the woven pads vs. the thin leatherette that is on so many like the 800s that break down and eventually fall apart. These are louder than the 800s, which is a welcome change (they were too quiet at even full volume) and the clarity is very good. The build quality is a mix though - while overall excellent the volume dial and a few other features feel very cheap - not as nice as other Steel Series Headsets which is odd given how expensive these are. Function and comfort are excellent. The magnetic side panels and ease of battery access are very welcome upgrades! LOVE LOVE LOVE having the 2 battery system with the base being the charger - you NEVER have to worry about plugging in or losing sound this way even on marathon sessions ;D

I really like this headset. I think the greatest feature is being able to listen to music via Bluetooth while flying in Flight Simulator 2020. Additionally being able to swap batteries on the fly is a very welcome feature. On top of everything else they sound really good and the fit is very comfortable. I highly recommend this headset.
