I really like this headset. I think the greatest feature is being able to listen to music via Bluetooth while flying in Flight Simulator 2020. Additionally being able to swap batteries on the fly is a very welcome feature. On top of everything else they sound really good and the fit is very comfortable. I highly recommend this headset.

The battery swap is the best feature of this headset by far - never having to plug in to charge is awesome. Otherwise the sound is crisp but lacks bass imo unless you dial in the eq manually. I'm thrilled with these though, even with the sky high price tag. Go for it!

The price is hard to justify on the surface, but this headset absolutely rocks. The swappable battery system works flawlessly for me and means i never have to be hard wired. The battery life is good and the sound quality is superb for gaming. Worth every penny!

Used on Xbox but true for pc and PS4. When using Bluetooth phone connectivity and console connection the headphones does are working great. Downside is that you cannot are the default valine control and since you have 1 knob to control it, it’s Always random. Another thing is the sound quality. I tried different EQs options including custom settings and this set of headphones is good in the sound quality. I mean I can hear every step in apex but some sounds are really loud. VERY loud where I have to lower the sounds for a moment - very disturbing. I never had issues with my previous headset and they sounded great. Battery life: it’s great to have dual battery system because they don’t hold 10 hrs when you use double connection. Swapping the batteries really help to avoid running out of juice. The good: headphones are very well build and comfortable. The station is showing all the information you need and it’s customizable. I bought on sale but returned as not satisfied for even discounted price when my old headphone were still there and working great. I was hoping to get better experience but got nearly to the same level of my current headphones. Returned them back to the store. I would keep them if I won’t have anything else.

Nice headset with great sound especially that it is wireless. On par with audio quality like a50s. Good battery life. Would be 5 stars if price was lower

This headset is very good for what it is. The audio quality is not the best and will be strictly worse than most wired headsets, however its good enough for tactical fps. The box includes two rechargeable batteries that can be swapped very quickly so the battery restriction isn't an issue even for long gaming sessions. The included receiver has some nice basic audio mixing options and doubles as a charger for the betteries which is good. Another good quality of life feature is you can plug your speakers into the receiver and when the headset is off, audio will run trhough your speakers. As soon as you turn the headset on the audio will automatically switch to the headset. The headset is comfortable and easy to adjust and I havent found issues with comfort in the year I've been using it. All in all, if youre looking for a good wireless headset this should be one for your consideration.

I would have given 5 stars. But I have one issue with the headphones. For being the top of their line they have a limitation, and that is they work talk to the Xbox directly. If you want to use them for Xbox, you have to bluetooth connect to the app on your phone for game chat. This means no game audio unless you connect an aux cord to the controller, thus negating being truly wireless. Rather ridiculous for $400 headphones I'd say. Aside from that, they are incredibly comfortable and the sound quality is amazing. I can only recommend this item if you dont mind the limitation.

These are amazing! The sound quality is spot on. The treble and bass on these headphones are astronomical. Makes you feel like you are in another dimension with your music. I got these as a gift for my husband and he absolutely loves them. You won’t be upset with these.

It beats the A50's and the best gaming headset!

I have personally owned and tried both the Astro A50 and these SteelSeries Pro Wireless. Here are my thoughts: Sound Quality: The clear winner are the Arctis Pros. They sound more crisp and clear. Game vs. Chat Audio: The A50's are much easier to adjust between the game chat and game audio. The SteelSeries mix amp for game vs chat deals with the audio from your bluetooth device and audio from PC. I have not found a way to make the chat vs game audio similar to the Astro's. You will need to lower the master volume for in game settings to hear your teammates. Battery Life: They both have a really long battery life. However, the A50 docking station is iffy and the SteelSeries interchangeable batteries are just better. PS4 compatibility: They both need to be connected to a PC for any updates. I had consistent problems with the A50's connecting for updates on the base. This was very frustrating and I would choose the SteelSeries over the Astros. The clear winner is the SteelSeries Artic Pro

I’ve tried several of the wireless headsets (Sennheiser’s, Razer, Logitech, Corsair) out there but this is the best. Sounds great, gets loud, great customization software. The two batteries are a game changer. You can adjust your settings via the software or the desktop unit. I can also wear them for hours.

I bought these after returning the Corsair Virtuoso headset. These are much better than the Corsair Virtuoso headset (which quit working after 2 weeks). This is, hands-down, the BEST gaming headset on the market. It works well with PS4 and PC. The audio is deep, surround sound works well, and the mic is perfect. The wireless range on the headset is amazing and I can freely move about my house without interruption (within reason). Having Bluetooth capability is awesome as well. These have replaced my goto Sony over the ear headset for music and work calls. I have a giant head and its a tad tight. I have to put it on in a specific way to fit my ears under the headphones...but its not uncomfortable. I also bought one of the skin/band replacements on their website (liked the design) and they seem to fit a little better.

This headset is really great. The sound quality is pretty excellent, I play a lot of Destiny 2 and Final Fantasy XIV. I was hearing 'new' sounds in these games the first time I used them. If I had to compare the sound quality I would say its similar to something like Sony WHXMs. One of the single best things about these headphones is that it comes with a backup battery that charges in the external box/mixer thing. This is perfect because as soon as battery is low you have a backup ready to go and never need to use wires again. Lastly, the mic on these is pretty decent, my gaming buddy also picked up a pair and his voice quality is always good when we talk in discord. The software for this headset is also pretty good, and although I don't get too heavily into that stuff there seems to be a lot of customization available. All in all I am very happy with my purchase, great job Steel Series!

It's a great headset, amazing sound quality for both the speakers and the microphone. Also, if you're moving around the house a lot with it the headset has fantastic range, the battery life could be better but it's a mild inconvenience since it has interchangeable battery packs and comes with a second pack. My only complaints about the headset is that the headband stretches out quickly leaving you constant pulling up the slack or having the metal band digging in to your head, oh and I've had this thing for like 8 months now and one of the earcups snapped off when it slipped off my head while picking up something off the floor.

I went through about 7 headphones before I picked this one. Most of them were wireless because I was tired of the wire getting stuck or rubbing. This has the best mic of any wireless headphone that I've tried. I was debating between this and the Astro A50s and the deciding factor was the sound quality of these and the A50s were surprisingly heavy, plus I didn't want to waste space for a dock. The DAC is great with apps to see computer temps and who's talking, but by far the best feature is the replaceable batteries. I would always forget to charge other wireless headphones at night and the 8-10hrs out of these batteries are great and you can get cheap replacements. I would definitely recommend getting different ear cushions, but overall great product.

This is the best headset that I have ever owned. The build quality is top notch. The comfort is also next level. I can easily wear this headset for an entire charge (10 hours). It comes with two removable batteries that you can swap back and forth which is very handy.

Great wireless headsets!! Great sound, headband doesn't hurt after longer use, an it has a spare battery! My biggest gripe with wireless headsets these days, are the fact you need to constantly remember to charge them. The spare battery makes a world of difference!

This headset is perfect for your new PS5! You can connect either USB or direct line into the controller so you get 3D sound. (The USB recognizes the headset so you get 3D sound from that too) Awesome sound overall and I really feel like the detail in the sound gives me a great immersion for all my games and not just shooters. The hub allows you to fine tune how you want the headset to sound. You can even save your presets for when you open Spotify and want the headphones to give your music the clarity and edge you want. One of the best features is the dual Bluetooth that allows you to listen to your gaming session while talking on the phone! Wireless is the gold standard in my opinion, and there was a reason these were named top gaming headset. Remember, you get what you pay for in headphones. If you are considering these you will not be disappointed.

I will start by saying that these sound incredible. Best headset sound for gaming I have experienced. I’ve owned competitors and these win in that department easily. The battery charging and swap out function is also great. I’m told the mic clarity is great... when it works. On PS4 they frequently have issues with the mic going nearly silent. If you do not power down and up in a specific order it will happen. Every time I turn my system on I need to go into settings and verify my mic is working. And if it is, the sensitivity is often not the same as it was before. This is a common issue if you search the web (I wish I had seen this before I purchased). Steelseries also has no fix. I have reached out several times and they just offer an exchange. And yes I have the most current firmware. Audio quality is stellar. The mic reliability is sub par at best. Also I don’t consider myself to have large ears but my ears would contact the speakers. I ordered some wicked cushions and that solves that. But for what these cost I can’t say I recommend them. Perhaps the wired versions would have been a better choice. I think I will be returning these for a refund.

Gosh, I made so much research to find the perfect set. I am glad I decided to go with this. I use it not only for gaming but to watch movies. The sound is amazing, surround sound (Make sure you enable it) And the bass makes me happy, it's a fine bass, you can feel the wind/vibration in the back of your ear; it's so immersive that sometimes I have to take the headset off to make sure the sound bar is not ON on full blast waking up the neighbors. The volume can go really up. Now, this is not noise cancelling but believe me, no much sound comes in to interrupt you trip. Also, the ear cups are made of a soft fabric, it doesn't get warm and is compatible if you wear glasses. There is a little bit of sound leak but no loud enough to wake up someone sleeping next to you. Oh and you will never run out of juice, the receiver will charge your back-up battery and switching batteries is hassle-free, it only takes 2 snaps. BUY IT!
