Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the superb sound quality and long battery life as top features. Comfort is also praised, although some users note fit issues depending on head size. While the Bluetooth functionality and range are appreciated, a high price point and some software quirks are common criticisms.

These headphones are very good. But, for the price I found a couple issues I could not tolerate, so I had to return them. Generally, they sound great for a gaming headset, have a decent mic, and the way they are designed to show up as two audio outputs to allow quick mixing of chat vs. other audio is very convenient. Unfortunately, they make a constant static white noise sound that can be loud enough to be distracting in normal use. With the volume limiter disabled, the static is even louder. The noise stops if using the headphones purely in bluetooth (with RF disabled) or wired mode, but I needed this to work well when paired wirelessly with a PC. Second, they seem to have very strongly hyped sub-bass, which can be really fun to listen to, but on both pairs (I exchanged the first pair hoping the static noise was a defect - it was not), loud sub-bass sounds in the source audio, even played at only moderate volume, also cause interference noise in the higher frequencies in the headset that can become distracting. Overall, a nearly excellent headset marred by some oversights in the design/manufacturing.

I have used this headset for both PlayStation and PC, as well as just walking around the house to listen to music. The PC quality is great, both mic quality and the audio quality. PS4 audio is good but my friends say my mic quality is really bad. The battery lifespan is very good as well and it’s very easy to change batteries. The wireless range is honestly kind of ridiculous, I went around 40 ft away from my computer and could still hear everything pretty clearly. I only rate it 4 stars because it’s not high quality for PS4 use. I would recommend this to anyone who likes the freedom of wireless headsets.

So I’ve been looking for a good headset to play Warzone and a few other games with. I needed something that was comfortable because I wear glasses and game for hours at a time and needed something that could allow me to differentiate where footsteps were coming from in games like warzone and hunt showdown.... So after looking into the many reviews on YouTube and the repetitive praise I saw on reddit, I decided to drop 350$ on this headset. At first I was skeptical with my purchase because you can’t really adjust the headset, which I need because I have a bigger head (which people do comment on) but I also have stretched earlobes which makes this headset somewhat uncomfortable at times but dropping so much money I pressed on. Then there was the EQ box.... it’s both under and overwhelming at the same time. Not much is there for the settings unless you decide to adjust everything on a PC or laptop. That being said, you can change the settings from the headset itself which is nice but I’ve seen other headsets do the same. As far as sound, it’s pretty good. The only reason I don’t say it’s the best Is because of how much adjusting you have to do for every game as well as trying to balance your party chat audio mix. But what really is eating at me is the fact that the mic is a solid 50/50 of you being too quiet or too loud in parties. Some days my mic is normal and everyone can hear me fine, other days it sounds like I’m talking through a megaphone and most others sound like I’m talking in a tin cup, through a string trying to talk to my friends from a house over. My review of it is, if you don’t have stretched ears and rarely do party chat, then this is the headset for you. If not, I’d say go with the Astro A50’s... there really isn’t much other than the charging port and comfort that separates these headsets. I would personally trade in my steelseries for a pair of A50’s but I’m 7 days over my 15 day return policy.

    Best wireless gaming headphones!

Best wireless headphones. (Vs virtuoso SE, Arctis 7, Corsair void Pro, hyperX cloud2) The winner here is the interchangeable batteries. No cables to charge. You get two swappable batteries. charge one while you use the other, then swap when you need a full charge. Sound quality is similar to the Arctis 7. With some EQ tweaking you can get these to sound very good, including some decent bass, and good highs and mids. Is it worth it? Really depends on your budget. Arctis 7 is good as is. If money is no issue, this is definitely the best wireless gaming headphones on the market for its features, quality, and the interchangeable batteries.

I researched a dozen gaming headsets before I finally landed on this gem. I upgraded from a pair of Corsair Void RGB Wireless headphones which were great but always had something missing in terms of sound, and they were heavy and loose fitting. The Arctis Pro Wireless fit snugly but at the same time comfortably. The sound is rich and the bass is deep. They are almost comparable to my Bose AC15s other than the fact that they do not have active noise cancelling and are obviously heavier than the Bose. But these are mainly for gaming, and that’s where they shine. These are dual wireless, can be used for gaming via 2.4 GHz or for music on your phone via Bluetooth, or for both simultaneously. They are constructed very well and are packed full of features. They are quite expensive, but then again, there isn’t anything else like them on the gaming headset market.

Got this for $200 with a price match, best headset i owned so far. The two batteries and mix amp are very nice additions. The bluetooth also is a nice touch letting me watch tutorials and videos while gaming. My only complaint is that the ear cups are a little small for me which cause pain. Aftermarket cups helped fix that. My other complaint is that i have seen some durability issues mentioned a lot about the ear cups snapping but warranty should cover it if it does break

I like this headset and I have used many different brands. I think its the best one I have ever purchased. I like the two batteries and the sound for gaming is the best. Feels conformable but i do not have a large head.

Great sounding headphones! Comfortable for long time gaming, and quick swap batteries is a great feature. Only minor issue is the mic sends to pick up breath/wind noise easier than other mics I've used on headsets.

The headset is 75% AMAZING. The swappable battery is a killer feature and what has kept me with this headset for so long. CRITICAL ISSUE for me though is the weak points in the design of the headset. The arms that are attached to the ear cups are metal but the point where the arms connect to the ear cups are VERY weak as the ear cups themselves are plastic. They will break at those points and it is very difficult to justify spending another $350 (sans tax) for these all over again if you are out of warranty. The price and the lack of acknowledgment by SteelSeries to resolve this issue is a big con for me personally. There are plenty of people online that have reported the exact same issue to SteelSeries as well in case you are curious you can Google it. I still have the Hyper X Cloud 2's that cost me $100 bucks and are still going strong over the course of 4 years. Sure the pleather on the cups is flaking a bit but replacing ear cups is way easier than repairing cracked plastic due to poor design on SteelSeries part. What's worse is that once you hit that point of failure on the ear cups there is a high chance that the wires will also fringe internally and the headset as whole will die completely.

I read up on all sorts of reviews and whatnot about gaming headsets. but for this particular headset, if you want great sound quality that requires accurate pinpointing and also the freedom of not having a cable this is the headset for you. but, if you have a larger head like i do, you might want to look into the acritc pro + gamedac. this headset is awesome but it sits a little snug on my head.

The sound quality of these are awesome. The setup is a breeze using the steelseries engine. They sound amazing. I am an adult. At $329, I would figure these are being marketed to adults. They are just a smidge too small for my head making the headband pinch the very top of my cranium which is a bit uncomfortable. I also have tiny ears. My ears barely fit in the cups. I have a steelseries headset from maybe 5 or 6 years ago that plugs into my controller (not sure exactly which - I think the Arctis 3 or 5), which not only fit, but had room to spare. Now the sound of these new ones blow the old ones away, and not having cords get caught and separated is a blessing (steelseries cords are a bit sticky and get caught on anything, and they have a split in them that I guess is there to avoid damaging whatever they are plugged into, but it's REALLY annoying when your talking to your buddies and you move and the cord tears apart). But the headache inducing pinch to my head loses a star. I don't think it's too much to ask for a slightly larger headset. Really disappointed at this price point and couldn't recommend them even though I give them 4 stars. The superb build quality and sound are carrying them.

Not sure where to start with these headphones. First off the headband is very uncomfortable. It is very tight and i will say this, DO NOT GET THESE IF YOUR HEAD IS NOT TINY!!! The headphones do sound great though. Very clear and gaming with them is a pleasure. I just wish steel Series had better software for more options with these. You only get a 4 band equalizer which is crappy and a low medium and high bass slider. Do your research first before buying these!!

It’s a good headset, love the fact that it has two batteries with one always charging so you never have issues with battery. I had have some issues where it would randomly disconnect for a second or two then reconnect. Doesn’t happen often enough to bother me a whole lot but still notable. They’re not the most comfortable as well, I think I prefer the Astro A50 over these overall. Extremely expensive though. Don’t think I would recommend over other ones.

Good sound if you like very good miss and highs with not much bass. Great for some games not for others. It was a great headset until I started to notice the very tight head clamping pressure wasn't going away. At first thought it was because they're new and needed to be broke in, after months of use no change and couldn't stand the tension on my glasses or ears any more. Wish they were better at that but otherwise a great set of headphones.
