Customers frequently mention the superb sound quality and long battery life as top features. Comfort is also praised, although some users note fit issues depending on head size. While the Bluetooth functionality and range are appreciated, a high price point and some software quirks are common criticisms.

Good sound if you like very good miss and highs with not much bass. Great for some games not for others. It was a great headset until I started to notice the very tight head clamping pressure wasn't going away. At first thought it was because they're new and needed to be broke in, after months of use no change and couldn't stand the tension on my glasses or ears any more. Wish they were better at that but otherwise a great set of headphones.

I returned my Arctis 7P headset to purchase this headset. Overall I’m happy with the quality of the sound and the convenience of having swappable batteries. However the lack of an optical cable is frustrating and makes me feel like I’m not receiving the highest quality audio possible. The recent PS5 update has seemed to improve audio quality compared to pre update performance. Overall I would recommend but not at full retail.

Heads up when you buy this headset. The audio of things will sound strange. If you’re coming off Astro or Turtlebeach I almost returned them because of how weird they sounded at first. But I gave it time and I started getting use to the sound of them and they’re much more clear and the sound distances in games is amazing. I love my Astros A40 TR But theses are by far the best wireless headphones I’ve had!
Using the Bluetooth to connect to your phone while gaming is a amazing touch. I use them for streaming so having my text messages go to my headphones instead of playing out loud is nice that way I can check without looking

Wow, what an incredible headset. I had the Arctis 9Xs for my Xbox and upgraded to the Arctis Pro Wireless when I switched to PC. My only peeve is that there is no dial on the headset to adjust between party chat and game volume; you have to do this using the base station which takes a few button clicks.
The base station is very awesome though and I like that I can pass the audio through to my speakers whenever I turn my headset off.

Options, options, options. It gives them to you. The quality of sound is excellent and the recognition of sounds coming from certain areas is outstanding. I can easily go from my PS4 to pc in a breeze. I use them outside as headphones doing yard work. Battery life is endless and easy to switch battery packs if your headset goes out. They are comfortable but I wish I could extend them at times for comfort. But I’ve found my comfort zone already. All in all, the price is a concern at first but dang, are these headphones rock solid. Well worth the price in my opinion. Best headset I’ve owned.

honestly, worth the price. i've had these for over 7 months now, and i've never really powered these off. (unless the battery dies when i'm sleeping)
sound is really nice, but even better when you download the SteelSeries software and use the EQ system.
raiding? your battery dieing? change them out in less then 20 secs one handed with the 2nd battery that this comes with.
game sound too loud and you cant hear your friends talk? if you set it up correctly you can turn down the game sounds with your headset or the desk dock.
in short i'm really happy with this buy.

This is by far the best headset I have ever used in my life. I have used this headset for gaming, school, work, and anything you can think of and it is perfect. Quality is amazing and the battery life is even more impressive even though it is technically unlimited (with the hot swap batteries). The ability to have console and PC audio clear and play around with alot of options is amazing. I had the previous model version of this headset and that lasted me 4 years and so far this headset is going to go all the way as well. Worth every penny.

Build Quality:
This head was built very well! metal Frame with some plastic here and there. I had no complaints during my time of using this headset with my PS5. The mic retractability was great and had no issues. The buttons well tactile and responsive and in my opinion easy to access. It did take a while to understand where they were located.
Sound:
The sound was great! I mainly used it to play single player games with some multiplayer in Battlefield 1 and Destiny. The audio was clear, bass was nice during intense gaming scenarios. The audio mixer was nice to have to balance between party chat and in game audio.
Comfort:
This is what lead me to return the headset unfortunately. For me personally it wasn't as commutable as I would like. I usually prefer headset which ears cups that are adjustable in length. This headset uses a band resistance to adjust the ear cups and for me I guess my head was a little too tall? After about 25 minutes of wearing this headset the top of my head would feel the pressure of the metal band on top. If I were to tighten the strap the ears cups end dup pushing my lobes up and pressing against my ears/glasses. The ears cups weren't as large as I would like compared to my former Astro a50s, Sony MX3's and Philips Fidelio X2HR as an ear cup reference. Again this was my experience and it may be comfortable for you. Unfortunately this lead me to return them.
Overall its a great headset and I would recommend if it fits your comfort level.

These are probably the best headphones I’ve ever owned! And I’ve owned A LOT!!
The only thing that is tedious for me is having to carry around the volume control box since I use these with my laptop too. But it makes sense since you have an extra battery and a set of amazing working wireless pc headphones! I strongly recommend! Especially having an extra battery always ready for you to pop in as soon as yours runs out. It’s very convenient!

Probably the best headset I’ve ever bought . I’m a spender for headphones . I’ve bought JBL quantum 600 . Razer Nari ultimate(haptic sense great but cheap quality) turtles , astros . But all in all these are my favorite . They are tight fitting and don’t make your head look huge lol very snug, and also come with a secondary battery that each last a few days. So when one’s being used the other one is charging inside of the main controller that comes with the pros . Very easy to swap and all out amazing design

I would recommend the arctis pro wireless to anyone who really doesn't want to have a wire connecting them to the pc - it comes at the cost of sound quality when using the bluetooth connection and anytime you are away from the wireless station. If you don't care about the cool bluetooth/wifi dual functionality then get the wired version with game dac for hundreds less, and better sound / mic quality.

This is the best headset I've owned! I've used plantronics and Sony gold in the past, they were fine but these steelseries are on another level. Yes they are expensive but build quality and the ability to swap batteries are top notch. The ability to charge one battery while using the other means you always have a charged battery ready. The ability to plug the headset in for mobil or switch gaming is nice though you lose some functions that the dac provides. Great headset for a big price but these are elite! You get what you pay for.

Decent build quality, battery life is great. However thought suppose to cancel out background noise yet it pickups everyone voice in house. Sucks if battery dies or power on off when ur console is on. Headset starts to screw up quickly. Be nice if they could also have better understanding of what on the equalizer does what. And no way for ur system to show no headset even if it’s not on.

So I was on the wall about buying these because of the price but I love them. It does the job and it sounds great. It comes with two batteries so you will never have to worry about dying on you. Plus you can always plug and play as well. A little expensive so if you have the money then yes but if you don’t then go with something cheaper. Oh I forgot the reason for buying these was because my 1 year old kept pulling the cord on my artic 5,

This is a Long term Review. The headset is great with clear sounds. the issue with this is the quality of the basestation and the batteries. The base station feels cheap and light so it moves very easy to move. they did put rubber feet on the bottom to prevent but it fails.
The Basestation also stopped charging the batteries after 6 months. currently waiting for Customer support which is off for holidays.
The batteries themselves seem to only last about 4 hours of constant use. compaired to other sets i have used that lasted 8-12 hours.
i would still recommend this headset over any wired headset since the wire dangling on your shoulder is annoying. If the basestation didn't break i would move this to 4 stars for sure. and if the batteries lasted longer it would get a 5.
for a $300+ headset to have 2 issues inside 6 months its doesn't deserve more then 3.
