I bought this controller specifically to play Minecraft on my iPad Pro and it has exceeded my expectations. My initial concern was input lag between the controller and the iPad when playing, however, I have not experienced any lag whatsoever. Build quality is nice too, seems like this controller will last for a long time.

Good quality, good product. Very easy to connect. Charge with iphone lighting cable. I purchase it for apple tv but works with iPhone & iPad also. I didnt want my son playing games with the apple tv control ($79)

Love that it hooks up to all I’m iPhones and iPads and I can play games without having to touch screen. Helps play the games really easy and it’s an awesome made controller

Excellent Gamepad for use with Apple TV. I've used it on my Gen 4 Apple TV and have had no issues. Very recently I upgraded to the new 4K Apple TV. I paired the game pad but haven't used it with the new Apple TV yet, but will soon. Good quality for price, sure beats using the Siri Remote for games!

My kid loves being able to play his games, especially Fortnite, on his father's iPhone with this. He likes that he can use a controller that fits his hands well and is easier to use than the other options for gaming on a cell phone or tablet. Beats the pants off of the "gaming triggers" out there! It's good for your gamers when they have to leave their big TV and X-Box at home. ;) It's configured differently than the X-Box controller (joystick in different spot), but he adapted and switches back and forth easily.

We love these controllers for the Apple TV. They are easy to use and hold a charge for a very long time. Best part is they use the iPhone charger.

This controller is one of the best for the Apple Arcade. It has good range. I can play from 30 feet away with no lag or disconnection issues. The controller is a good weight and balance. I like that the battery life is so long for hours of playtime. All of the buttons are easy on the fingers. My only two complaints is that you have manually connect and disconnect the controller between multiple Apple TV’s on the same network and there is no vibration for effects.

I bought this controller to play games on Apple TV. There are some games that can be played without it, but are much more fun with it (e.g., Asphalt 8), whereas other games require the controller for full functionality (e.g., Sonic the Hedgehog). This is a great controller. It was easy to pair with Apple TV and can even be used instead of the remote to some degree. Keep in mind that not every app that can be downloaded onto iPhone and iPads can be used with the controller (e.g., Street Fighter IV).

Solid product. Easily paired with Apple TV. I use it for playing games. Have not experienced any lag with this product. There is an app to adjust settings and supposedly will work with my iPad but have not tried yet

I really enjoy having this controller. My remote that came with my 4k apple tv stopped working after a couple of months and having this wireless controller was such a life saver. Although, I should probably take my apple remote to get looked at to see what's wrong. I also like the fact that the controller makes me feel like I'm playing a game all the time. It's weird because I'm not an avid gamer or anything, but now with this controller I don't feel so left out of the gaming world. Another great thing about this controller is that it comes with it's own charging cord that can also be used to charge any apple devices. The battery on this thing is really awesome too. When it's fully charged my controller lasts for a couple of weeks, but mind you I only spend a couple of hours a day on it and turn off my controller when I'm not using it while watching a movie or show.

The good: nice form factor, pressure sensitive buttons and DPad, long battery life, works with Mac, iOS, and sort-of unofficially other Bluetooth enabled systems (Windows/Linux, etc.) The bad: Neither stick has a central button, no Start or Select buttons, and isn't mapped to standard layouts. Conclusion: Not as good as non-MFi controllers but it is officially supported by iOS and works with games like Minecraft.

To be fair, I don’t game much. It’s not an important part of my life, but it’s nice to disappear for a little while into a game when time off allows when on the road as a trucker. Great quality build, feels just like my friends’ console controllers. It charges from my iPhone (lightning) cable which simplifies things, and works seamlessly with my iPad Pro and iPhone for when I decide to escape into a game for a bit.

This this is really cool, it does a great job at being able to control a variety of games across a load of Apple devices. Love that it can be changed once for up to 40 hours of gameplay.

This works flawlessly with the Apple TV and is compatible with the majority of games, we keep it in the car as we have an Apple TV in the car, and use it to play games on the back monitors, because it’s connected via Bluetooth, it does not need line of sight to the Apple TV which is mounted underneath the back seat, perfect for this type of application, I’ve also used my home and no complaints there either..

I purchased this to play games on my Apply tv (4th gen). It was easy to pair via Bluetooth. I did not take long to charge. So far battery life seems as advertised. Con: It's a little quirky trying get back to the main menu of the Apple tv. However, I've only had the remote a few days and still figuring out how it all works. $50 and a lightning adapter is not included to charge the remote. That is a rip off! Otherwise this would get 5 stars.

This controller works very well with my Apple TV 4th Generation. I actually bought it for a couple of games that I like but ended up using it for just about everything on the Apple TV. I tried several, this one is the best for my needs! I like that you can just plug it in and charge it! I like that it pairs to Bluetooth almost immediately. The most important reason that I like it is because it just works every time!

Bought this while we were out of town so my husband and kids could play games on their devices, iPad etc. Setup was very easy.. just connected it to Bluetooth. Batteries last a good amount of time before having to charge again. Some controls on it don’t function for certain games, like fortnite. It worked great for COD Mobile though.

This works really well. The battery lasts much longer than I expected. We use it as a family for a few games on our apple tv. It is much easier to use this than the remote for the Apple TV. The issue I run into is that there are a lot of buttons and controls on this controller and there are many games from the App Store that don't support all of the buttons that this controller has.

We purchased 2 of these and have 2 Apple TVs. We love how easy they are to set up, how many games they work with, and that they can switch back and forth on the TVs so easy!!

Durable and easy to use. Great for iOS gaming. No batteries!!!
