Customers admire the Rival 5 Wired Optical Gaming Mouse with RGB Lighting for its extensive RGB lighting options, ease of use, and well-placed buttons. The mouse maintains a decent weight despite the added buttons and is praised for its responsiveness and reasonable price. Some customers find the size slightly small for larger hands, and a few mention that the software could be improved.

I like this mouse a lot. I like that it doesn't require batteries and it doesn't need to be charged like others. I recommend this if you don't mind a corded mouse. It has buttons on the side to use as well as the ones on the top. And of course, I love the color changing lights.

Great mouse, smoothness is awesome, the weight is balanced. Overall 5/5, I have a keyboard, and headset from steel series that are the best purchases I have made.

Solid mouse, the software is a bit 50/50 since sometimes it doesn’t want to start up correctly or it’ll de-sync with the hardware. But for the games I play (Escape from Tarkov, War Thunder, and White Knuckle) it’s carried me for the past couple years I’ve had it, the only major issue I have with it is SteelSeries’s software.
Would recommend on sale for sure.

SteelSeries Rival 5 is an upgrade to a previous Steelseries mouse that I owned for several years. This is an excellent mouse with better positioned buttons, which are better than the previous versions for ease of use. Good product.

The buttona on the side are awesomeness. You also have that bar and set your lean to it. Now i can peak, lean and ads and shoot all on the mouse its so convenient. If u play a game that allows you to lean then you need this

This is an amazing mouse. For those who love heavier mice, this might not be your pick. But, for those who enjoy super light-weight mice and are starting PC gaming, definitely a great choice. This mouse is very light, precise, and well made. Even though it's plastic, the side buttons, main buttons, and overall build is well made.
The SteelSeries engine that the mouse recommends to download is very useful for changing the DPI settings on the mouse, color waves, and even just normal sonar stuff. The app has an integrated sonar that helps with sound division.

This mouse is great for the valie. It has a great feel and love how the pointer and middle finger have their own place to rest as well as the additional buttons for the thumb. Great for gaming.

This mouse looks cool. The lights are bright but not so bright to be distracting when gaming. The controls are very quick and responsive. Exactly what I was looking for.

It’s been a while since I’ve used a wired mouse but, I’ve had so many wireless mouses die on me so I gave this a shot. I love it! The extra buttons are super useful for key binding, the clicks aren’t loud and annoying, the wheel actually scrolls smoothly. I can see why this mouse had awards!

Only had this for a week so far, but its a good mouse. The wheel clicks a little too easily, but that might be from how used to my previous mouse I was. I'd still recommend it!

Its a great cheap mouse.... feels good in the hand... and it has a nice clean look, not to flashy and not to dull. Got it on sale and needed a mouse to use while i waited for another one to arrive. Only used it for a few days... light gaming, checking emails and My only issue is where the wire sleeving had worked it'self down away from the mouse exposing the wiring that runs through the wired cable. Didn't affect any of the mouse functions... more of a quality control problem I'm guessing. Im sure I could have returned it to best buy but it wasn't a major issue and truthfully i just forgot about it once i stopped using it and my new mouse arrived (that i ordered), which was a different brand, through a different website.
