I purchased this as a gift for my wife, and she absolutely loves this game! The little extras with this edition were a delight as well. You will definitely need to be a fan of farming sim types of games for this.

I started playing 4 days ago. So far, it's kind of boring, but that might be because I'm used to games such as My Time in Portia, Stardew Valley, and Rune Factory 5. The graphics of this game are pretty cute, and the music is nice. The gameplay is a bit wonky, especially when it comes to the controls; if you play using both Nintendo switch controls separately, I mean. The story's pace seems to me to be a bit off, and the actual game feels that it is missing something, but maybe it's because I haven't played far enough into the game that it seems so. I might come back and update this review once I've played further into the game.

4.5 rounding up to a 5. Lowest I'd consider scoring it is a 4, but it's really cute, so I don't have the heart to do that. Very fun game. Beautiful environments and I like the characters. This edition came with a very nice quality and cute cloth poster, as well as a teeny tiny lil plushie that I really like. I only got it because they were out of the slightly cheaper standard edition of the game, but honestly I'm happy with how everything worked out and I like the little goodies it came with. If you like these sorts of games and want more of the same, then this is great for you.

I've played for about a month and it is one of the best Story of Seasons yet. The mining is back, although not as in depth as it's been. The characters are charming and I actually read their dialogue which I don't normally do. You can customize your farm and there's lots of land to build on. The town is just the right size with lots of shops and two different restaurants. There are some things to improve on, such as indoor customization and too many specific makers that could be combined. Overall, I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who likes farming sim games.

Like game different from my other farming game..lots to do now with all the building farming animal care mining lumberjack ingredients not enough time in a day to do all I need to do

I love this game!! Slightly different than the last Story of Seasons game but it has better graphics/more clothing options/more pet options, etc. I would recommend this game for anyone, especially someone who likes Animal Crossing or Stawdew Valley as well. :) *The premium edition came with a buffalo plushie, which was smaller than I expected, it fits into the palm of my hands. It also comes with a small, cloth poster with artwork from the game on it.

Only complaint is with the machine-based processing where you constantly have to feed machines for materials and you need multiple copies to get things really going. Other than that, there's quite a few quality of life improvements from previous versions of this game. If you like the old-style Harvest Moons, Stardew Valley, or have tried the Story of Seasons series before then this is worth a shot.

I picked this up on a whim without ever playing a game in this series, and I genuinely like it. It's cute, calm, and gameplay is pretty good. It looks really nice, and it's a good time killer. If you like stardew valley, or animal crossing, you'll most likely like this. The bonus items were nice, too. The little plush was soft and cuddly, and the artwork is really pretty.

Great game. Some what of a rare find in store. If you're into the Farmville, Animal Crossing type games then you may want this in your collection. Very colorful and interactive. Its one of those games you say I'll play for like half hour or so, but always end up playing for more like two hours or more. Great choice.

Fun little game. Good for beginners. However, it is a bit bland for long time fans of the franchise. They made it super easy to pick up and play, but the characters are missing some...personality? there are a few nit picky things I didn't like (ex, fish are just a generic silhouette in the museum and the makers get everywhere!), but it's still fun. I recommend it to fans of this style of gameplay.

Great addition to the SoS franchise, with some extras reflective of Stardew Valley. There's a lot more scenes between the villagers, even those you can't marry which gives it more depth, I think. There's a lot to do in the game, including tons of new items to craft. Theres also a lot more customization for the farm and main character.

I am so in love with this game. I have been a huge fan of the Harvest Moon Saga (now Story of Seasons) since the Super Nintendo version. I must say this is a big jump from the previous games, there are a lot of things to craft, new animals, and mini quests. So far I am enjoying this game.

Been hoping for a game that brought back the Harvest Moon of old and a good mix of the improvements that Stardew Valley brought to the formula..... this is it. This game further improves on everything that Stardew made better from Harvest Moon. Top 5 in the genre, IMO.

The wife really enjoys this title. It's taken some cues from the likes of Stardew Valley to improve the gameplay over precious releases. A few bugs and nuisances like excessive amounts of makers for each item, but overall a good play for fans of the genre

This game is such a big step up from the previous ones in the series. It’s so pretty! I also really appreciate that the team was willing to listen to community feedback and make changes/patches accordingly. I’m excited for the DLC to come out!

The game is relaxing as you’re fixing your farm that you received from your grandfather and (if you choose to) get married to one of the 5 bachelors and 5 bachelorettes and (if you want to) have a child, a family.
