Yes... the game is missing content and they should have held off before releasing it. But it is still a great addition to the series!! I am very upset/disappointed though... due to the limited roster and lack of the very known characters *GUILE* (he will be part of the future DLC).

SFV has a huge emphasis a competitive play. There is more multiplayer content than there is single player content for the time being. If fighting other actual people is not your thing, then I suggest you wait for Capcom to put the rest of the stuff, such as arcade mode, into the game.

This game was rushed, it's incomplete in every way. No story mode, most of the original characters are not their, they later on you have an option of having to pay 29.95 for 6 characters of which have sagat nor Blanka or Akuma is not even included. No arcade mode and no challenge mode. This game was way overpriced for what Capcom included. This the type of stuff that will turn you away from purchasing this video game.

This game upon purchase did not have everything accessible immediately. You had to wait for an update from Capcom to reveal everything a few weeks later. if you're thinking about purchasing this now, it should be up and running fully. Can't wait to see if they include Akuma.

Street Fighter 5 will be more than it is today at some point, and it may not even take long to get there. The most important skeletal elements of a strong fighting game are here, and they set the stage for a fighter that should have the legs to carry it years down the road.

This is a great fighting game. This lives up to the history of the series. The fighting mechanics do take some getting use to as they have changed the timing a good bit. Right now online is where the attention is directed since the story mode isn't very long. There are different survival modes and practice modes to work on the moves and combos. The ability to cross play between PS4 and PC is pretty cool too, and means there are plenty of challengers online. Great game.

Great fighting game with some major issues

Let's start with the good, sfv is an excellent fighting game. When you boil it down to the gameplay, it's awesome. I love the nuanced combat and the characters. Also new to the street fighter series is the ability to earn all the characters through fight money (which you earb as you play online or complete challenges). The major issues include the net code, it's downright unplayable at times, and getting into games is very annoying/takes forever. Overall if you can look passed the net code and online, and a lack of content initially...this is a great fighting game.

Didn't want to believe that as a off line preferred gamer, Street Fighter V was going to be... For a lack of a better word... GIMPED to the point that enjoyment for ME on a personal level was restricted to when my friend comes over. Online and features are good, but I'm am highly disappointed that this is what I am given as a true fan. Didn't pay full price (Much obliged Best Buy Gamer Club!!! Wait for it to have more content for justification can't recommend in its current state which saddens me. And here's a for a note; Online ONLY games are NOT my cup of tea!!! NO BUY from Me!!!

The gameplay is great, but without arcade mode or challenges any basic things that other fighting games have had, I recommend buying at a lower price.

Maybe I'm not as good as much gamers out there, so that is why I gave it 5 stars, but to those who are on the fence as to wanting to buy it or not, you won't be disappointed the graphics are sweet. On survival mode, you have 16 different characters, and there's easy, normal, hard, and hard as heck. This is a great way to get prepared so that when you do play online, you won't get Smashed. I spent $60 and I have know regrets.

One of the best fighters you can buy at the moment. But content in regards to story and player count is low. Grinding in survivor also gets kinda old after a while. And if the rage quitters dont bother you enough, i dont know what will.

I expected more out of this game, but it fell short. It plays like the originals from the 90's, but it fails to captivate like them. Still it is a good fighting game. I think Mortal Kombat X is better and I'm a Street Fighter guy!

Brings it back to old school mentality by shedding a lot of USF4 mechanics to absolute focus on footsies, AA's and match ups all in top notch presentation. Lacking a lot of typical fighting game content at the moment, however.

Graphics looks very nice! Gameplay is very nice! But the game feels incomplete. Capcom has even admitted as much and will be releasing DLC and patches to make the game complete. Overall though I am having a good time with it.

This game is missing so much content. It has no arcade mode, every character has only one super move, and only a few fighters and stages. It looks good and plays nice though.

If you are one of those players that wants a wealth of great single player content, then I can say without any question do NOT buy this game. Get Mortal Kombat X, Guilty Gear, Injustice, or anything else fighting game wise. For single player only, this game is bare bones, has no extra modes, and is rivaled only by King of Fighters XII when it comes to lack of content. However, if you are in it for the fighting, this game has substance, but feels a bit shallow compared to other fighters. However, because this game is considered a "platform" and expected to evolve, I'd say wait a while to see what exactly is coming.

The game has a great fighting engine that sets a strong foundation. However, it lacks content, both in single player as well as multiplayer when compared to other games in the genre. The developers have stated things will be added down the road, but I these promises do not mean anything at the moment. This game feels rushed and potential buyers should probably wait and make sure these promises happen.
