Plays on the same generator as newer street fighters. To flashy not like the ones that hooked everyone years ago.

I grew up playing Street Fighter as a kid.. The best original fight game of all time. There would be lines at the arcade. Then comes Tekken, with realistic fight moves, combos an techniques. What a great match.

I am a big fan of Tekken, and Street Faighter. These are my favorite games of all times, this is a great game to have; if you really like fighting games, the rest you will be the judge.

overall a fun and mindless game for distraction. A must for classic enthusiasts.

the merge could've been better it feels like the beginning of a good game but then falls apart as far as story lines and character endings could've been a whole lot better with the finished product

Great mixed fighting game and good character choices

What happens when you mix the best 2D fighting game around with characters from the best 3D fighter around? You get Street Fighter X Tekken! This is a brilliant cross-over fighting game! Characters from Street Fighter and Tekken duke it out in fast-paced and exciting 2D fighting mayhem. The controls work like Street Fighter and are quick and responsive and you have the option to customize the control layout to suit your preferences. The graphics are outstanding, all characters are rendered Super Street Fighter IV style and the animations are smooth and fluid. I love the backgrounds, there's so much great detail in the animations and the rendering of the backgrounds, my favorites are the Jurassic research lab and the Antarctic hovercraft. Some of the SF moves are altered a bit, but that actually makes some easier to execute. Also, you choose a team of two characters, and you can switch as many times as you like but if one is KO ed, then the round is over, this adds an element of strategy to the gameplay. If you are expecting an exact clone of Street Fighter, think again. The story is very well thought out and deeper than in most fighting games. The story creates a world where Street Fighter and Tekken mesh very smoothly and involves a rivalry between Shadaloo and the Mishima Zaibatsu and a quest for an object of tremendous power. My only complaint (aside from the obvious one about the English dub) is that some characters are not in the game. I think it would be cool to have Sakura, Blanka or Rose from Street Fighter or Christie Montero, Jack or Alisa from Tekken in the game, maybe they will be DLC characters! This is easily one of the best 2D fighters around and now I am really looking forward to Tekken X Street Fighter!
