I LOVE THIS TRACKER!

I made this purchase because of the size and screen - others were too bulky and clumsy or hard to read. I stumbled a little at first with swipes, taps, hourly sleep, etc. All were worked out with a few attempts. The heart monitor is right on, steps are close enough, but the WOW is the sleep tracker. I've had a horrible time with sleep over the past few months, always waking up exhausted. The charts made it clear that I had restless leg - all night long. Did some research, increased my iron and my sleep is greatly improved. Wow! I just realized that if I "flick" my wrist up, the screen lights up with the time. Cool! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I love this tracker!

I'm active duty military so wear this quite a bit during fitness. I gave the device four stars because it really isn't the most comfortable thing to wear. The heart rate monitor sort of digs into the skin and constantly leaves an impression on my wrist/arm which leads to some irritation. Really recommend washing the area the band rests in thoroughly, especially after a heavy sweat, and use a simple cleaning wipe on the band itself to remove salt and sand.
A general suggestion for the company would be to add a clip to strap this thing to the waist rather than relying on arm movement. While running seems to be fairly close to accurate, over a 6 mile ruck I only registered about 2k steps and a distance of 1.3 miles. This result was simply because I do not use much, if any, arm motion while performing this exercise.

I am so pleased with this purchase. I noticed when I opened the box that there was a little note that read, "Please don't return me to the store! Our customer support team is ready to answer any questions you may have.". Well, I had a problem downloading the app to my tablet so I took them up on their promise and emailed customer service about it. They got back to me immediately by email and provided an alternate link to upload the app. Within moments the app was uploaded and I was good to go. So I know that if I have any problem, I can email or call their customer care and someone will quickly and efficiently help me solve a problem. The app itself provides excellent information as well as Q & A and troubleshooting. As for use: the wristbands are very comfortable - a little stiff at first but that changes quickly; I like the display; I like how easy it is to change wristbands; I like the way it looks; and I like the battery life. It seems like the more frequently I wear it (just about every day), the longer the battery stays charged. The tracker package includes the charging cradle and USB cable. I really haven't begun to use all of the capabilities. I haven't used the sleep tracker yet, and I notice there is a compatible app for diet/nutrition that I will have a look at eventually. I haven't used the music capability. I think the notification feature is very cool! I did a lot of research before I chose this particular tracker. For the price, for the features, and for their reliable customer service, I highly recommend this tracker. I am very happy.

I recently purchased a Microsoft Band (the original) on sale, but had some concerns with the bulkiness of it. I saw this device for a similar price so I thought I'd try it out. Feature wise, they appeared very similar; both do HR, both provided notifications from your phone, sleep tracking, etc, so I bought this device to compare, as this band appeared to have a sleeker fit with similar functionality.
While I would give this device a 4.5/5 for comfort, I felt the touchscreen interface was clunky, and navigating the menus was frustrating. There are no buttons on the device at all, and you have to swipe through the entire menu selection to get to the "back" button. I also didn't like that you could not have the time display always on.
In my opinion, this band is pretty decent at its price point. However, since I was able to get a more feature packed device for a similar price, I was biased towards the more available features that were missing in this band.
Pros: Fits well, screen easy to read, paired quickly to my phone
Cons: Menu can be clunky, touchscreen not as responsive as other devices, can't set display to always on

Good, but must not move to measure heart rate

I like it, unfortunately the heartrate monitor does not monitor your heartrate all the time but only on demand, and in order to measure it you need to tap the screen a couple of times, launch it and don't move for 10 - 15 seconds. It seems accurate though, same readings as my blood pressure monitors, which gives the same readings as my doctor's office machine. Still better than taking your own pulse while staring at a stopwatch.
I guess I was expecting too much at this price, but I did not want to go with the chest strap. Too bad.
Otherwise it is fine if you are OK with that

The good: You get text alerts and meeting reminders. The screen is easy to read. The band is comfortable and does appear as if it would come off. The Bad: No sleep tracking. The screen sometimes does not respond. Unsure on how accurate it was at tracking my steps.
I eventually took it back and got an Asus Zenwatch 2 which I am beginning to really like.

It's a watch, and got an HR reader but does not track your heart rate, thus just the 3 stars. I thought it tracks your HR throughout your wearing. But still great considering the price. It reads your messages, alerts u to calls and voicemail, and other app notifications. My battery only lasts 3 days, but still better than other smart watches all things considering. If you don't use notifications, battery lasts 5 days

1. The app does not sync with MyFitnessPal or RunKeeper
2. The heart rate monitor varies greatly within seconds
3. The steps, calories, and miles are not accurately determined.
4. Support login does not work
5. No support phone number
6. No response from Striiv.
I was so hopeful that this would be a great fitness tracker. I bought one for myself and one for a gift. I had plans to buy a third. I'll be returning both of them. So disappointing!

Pretty good tracker. Heart rate monitor seems a little fickle but I think that technology is pretty much the same across all trackers. Definitely not a bad product and would probably buy it again given the cost savings over the other major competitors
