Absolutely not worth the money!

Bought this last week with hopes it would be worth the money. It wouldn't sync with my android phone, package says it syncs with MOST phones, apparently not mine! No big deal, I will just install the drivers/software and use my PC. Wrong again, it wouldn't connect to my PC. Says it has a comm err 4, what ever that means. Followed instructions to go to website to reset it. Guess what, that page doesn't exist! Called the phone number for tech support and it says they no longer offer phone support and to go to a web address. Guess what, that page didn't work either! Sent an email to customer service hoping to get some help there. 3 days later and no response from them. Needless to say it was returned and a Fitbit was purchased instead, and it works great!

Fun at first - not accurate shortly there after

Today was the last straw. After 45 days of continuous use, the accuracy went from ok to poor. This morning I was on the treadmill for 60 minutes, the striiv play recorded 33 minutes. I used another pedometer that registered 6200 steps, the Play registered 3500.
There is no denying that the Play is a fun way to get active, but the accuracy is terrible. Did a factory reset. Nothing. Uninstalled the app and reinstalled the app - no change.
Overall - fun to have, good for 45 days. If you are looking for long term, go with the fitbit. Not as fun, way more accurate. I was looking for accuracy.

Does not work--dies with err:4 every time

My Striiv Play is incompatible with Windows. Every time I try to initialize it, it dies with "err: 4" displayed on the screen. I opened a ticket with Striiv asking for a fix. Twelve days later, I have not heard one word from Striiv. In the ticket dialog I asked for an ETA for a fix. No response.
Here's the best part: Striiv discontinued "customer care" via the phone. I wonder why? Go ahead, call this Striiv customer support # and listen to the message: 1-855-937-8744 .
I'm not the only customer who notices their beleagured support. Here's an ongoing discussion on this very topic:

Never could get it to work. In theory a good idea but then when I also read the very small print, it said it would only sync with an iphone not an android. So a minus on two points

Poor software, non-existent customer service

I never could get this unit to sync via bluetooth after a mandatory software update. If you can't get it to sync, the device is useless as it won't record steps. Nice concept, but done in by very poor software.

I bought this to keep track of how much I walk on a daily basis at work. It had the android logo on the side and iOS. I have a Note2 and an iPad2.
It does not work with either of these devices. I need android 4.2 (if I remember) and will not work with the iPad 2. It does somewhat work with my iMac 2012 model and my Airbook however the display of miles on the Striiv does NOT match what is downloaded/uploaded to the computer. Contacted tech support and they did make contact but absolutely no follow up. I would pass on this unit for now.
